I plan to start Primrose Cottage Snowman Kisses on Christmas evening. I bought the white sled that their father designed for that pattern. It is fabulous and I can’t wait to finish stitching so I can display it with my other winter decor. 3

I plan to purchase Merry Christmas by Primrose Cottage and stitch on that throughout the year. I love the stickers in your planner, and I’m going to see if I can find those stickers. I, too, use the Happy Planner; it is my favorite because you can add and subtract pages so easily. One of the things that I want to do this year is better plan out my Christmas cards and my other seasonal holiday cards such as Valentine’s Day. I got all my St. Patrick’s cards made last year, after St. Patrick’s Day, L O L! This year I get to mail them out. I work full-time for a Christian ministry, and I also have a part-time job at JoAnns, so stitching and card making time is limited. Planning everything out seems to be the best way to go! I LOVE the decorated WIPs planner pages. They are beautiful and so great for keeping track of progress. Progress is so important!! The multi-part checklists are brilliant. My list of WIPs could use some work right now so that's great inspiration to see!

I am gearing up for a new start- SO much organization to do and it started by finishing my mending and cleaning my craft room. Then I feel less guilty working on projects. I am finishing my final mitten felt projects and hope to move on to the trees and then some stitching. 1, 2, 3
Merry Christmas Nichol! I don’t think I will get a new cross stitch started on Christmas, I will have all my kiddos home this year. My 3 boys are in the Army so it is very hard to get them all home for Christmas, so my time will be spent with them and my daughter (who is a teacher for children with special needs in NY) probably playing games or watching movies. If we watch movies then I will stitch. Like you I quit my holiday baking as I don’t need to eat it and my kids really don’t eat it either. I also for the first time in 20+ years didn’t make handmade Christmas cards, all my crafts and quilting were sidelined this summer as my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. So all my time was spent with her but I did pick up cross stitching (because of you and your floss tube) again then as it was something I could do while with her at chemo treatments and such. So thanks for all you do to inspire others around you. I would be pleased with 1 or 3.
On Christmas Day, I plan on starting Primrose Cottage Let it Snow and continue making smalls for ornaments on my tree next year. I would like to get about a dozen or so ornaments to pass along to my granddaughter when she grows up and has her own tree. I love the Christmas Rules on black so that may be a start also. I have a little, so I will just be grabbing one of my WIPS to stitch in the very few minutes I will have to stitch. This year I have had to let go of so many things. I work full time with a little and hubby and I both had work trips back to back so I had to let go of the baking and Christmas cards this year. I have 1 quick cookie bar I will make so my son can set out cookies for Santa. But I just have no energy this year. 1 2 3

Wow - you're busy these days! I do plan a Christmas Day start. I haven't decided for sure what, but it could be, "Sleigh Bells Ring," although it won't be displayed 'til next year. I LOVE that stitch but have been working on another stitch. For 2023 I think I will stitch Christmas on the 25th of each month, Fourth of July on the 4th of each month and possibly Halloween on the 31st of those months. Happy Christmas week! 1

Oh my gosh, I’m so grateful for this flosstube community- and for you Nichol! My 28 year old son just walked in, he heard you talking and he said, “Mom, she sounds just like you! Do you all get so excited about your stitching?!?” Yes, why yes we do! I have also stopped doing so many of the “supposed to do” activities during the Christmas season, and I’m SO much happier! I eat low carb the majority of the time and I feel better. Merry Christmas and Happy Stitching!

I love felt ornaments but have only made a few. Yours is awesome! I will not do a Christmas day start but may do one the day after as we will be driving back home from visiting our son for a few days. It will mostly be a winter small. I don’t use a planner. I tried some last year for my quilting and cross stitch but fell off the wagon pretty quickly. I will try again in the new year. Looking forward to your planning video. Merry Christmas 1 2 3 I loved what you said about not having to do "everything" Great validation I had Christmas today we my 2 BFFs and their husbands at my house I put up my small pencil tree but it had no ornaments on it. It's a long story but we still had a wonderful day and both called me when they got home about how special the day was The tree was lit up and I had a big bow on the top and several red berry sprigs in the brances. Buy the way I had stitched them each a gift this year. I'll share on the facebook page. I don't know if I'll start something new on Christmas but I'm sure I will be stitching. I have 3 WIPS I would like to finish by year end. I will be doing the 12 by 12 but I will not be able to start stitching until New Years day (I plan to start at 7:00 am) I host a New Year's Eve Early Dinner (same people I was with today) and we go to the movies. My Christmas cards are made, but not addressed and out They may not get until New Years, Also, I really like the one little word (I include in my planner on the monnthly/currently page) I have not choosen my word yet for 2023 My 2 all time favorites I every did was "joy" (that was a WOW moment each month) and "change" which I chose because I knew the industry I worked in was about to go through some major changes not in my control. OLW really helped me adjust I didn't mean to ramble, but time to go clean my kitchen and wash all those special dishes that can't go in the diswasher
I don’t have a little printer, but I am interested. About to 2 videos ago Roberta of The Sable Stitchers talked about hers and how much she enjoyed it. You may want to watch her You Tube. She said that the printer was easy to use and it hooked up to her phone. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Oh I started the little Let it Snow from Primrose a couple days ago. I finished up the sip n stitch and wanted to do something small and Christmasy before I started my plans for the new year. :) 1 2

I am gearing up for a new start- SO much organization to do and it started by finishing my mending and cleaning my craft room. Then I feel less guilty working on projects. I am finishing my final mitten felt projects and hope to move on to the trees and then some stitching. 1, 2, 3
Merry Christmas Nichol! I don’t think I will get a new cross stitch started on Christmas, I will have all my kiddos home this year. My 3 boys are in the Army so it is very hard to get them all home for Christmas, so my time will be spent with them and my daughter (who is a teacher for children with special needs in NY) probably playing games or watching movies. If we watch movies then I will stitch. Like you I quit my holiday baking as I don’t need to eat it and my kids really don’t eat it either. I also for the first time in 20+ years didn’t make handmade Christmas cards, all my crafts and quilting were sidelined this summer as my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. So all my time was spent with her but I did pick up cross stitching (because of you and your floss tube) again then as it was something I could do while with her at chemo treatments and such. So thanks for all you do to inspire others around you. I would be pleased with 1 or 3.

On Christmas Day, I plan on starting Primrose Cottage Let it Snow and continue making smalls for ornaments on my tree next year. I would like to get about a dozen or so ornaments to pass along to my granddaughter when she grows up and has her own tree. I love the Christmas Rules on black so that may be a start also. I have a little, so I will just be grabbing one of my WIPS to stitch in the very few minutes I will have to stitch. This year I have had to let go of so many things. I work full time with a little and hubby and I both had work trips back to back so I had to let go of the baking and Christmas cards this year. I have 1 quick cookie bar I will make so my son can set out cookies for Santa. But I just have no energy this year.

I have Christmas Rules kitted to start, just haven't had time! I did manage to get the little coffee cup ornament from Shannon Christine done and finished, it's hanging on my tree. If I don't start Christmas Rules, I may just continue on my Shine On, since I'm absolutely loving the colors and how it's progressing. Wow - you're busy these days! I do plan a Christmas Day start. I haven't decided for sure what, but it could be, "Sleigh Bells Ring," although it won't be displayed 'til next year. I LOVE that stitch but have been working on another stitch. For 2023 I think I will stitch Christmas on the 25th of each month, Fourth of July on the 4th of each month and possibly Halloween on the 31st of those months. Happy Christmas week! 1

Oh my gosh, I’m so grateful for this flosstube community- and for you Nichol! My 28 year old son just walked in, he heard you talking and he said, “Mom, she sounds just like you! Do you all get so excited about your stitching?!?” Yes, why yes we do! I have also stopped doing so many of the “supposed to do” activities during the Christmas season, and I’m SO much happier! I eat low carb the majority of the time and I feel better. Merry Christmas and Happy Stitching!

I love felt ornaments but have only made a few. Yours is awesome! I will not do a Christmas day start but may do one the day after as we will be driving back home from visiting our son for a few days. It will mostly be a winter small. I don’t use a planner. I tried some last year for my quilting and cross stitch but fell off the wagon pretty quickly. I will try again in the new year. Looking forward to your planning video. Merry Christmas 1 2 3 I loved what you said about not having to do "everything" Great validation I had Christmas today we my 2 BFFs and their husbands at my house I put up my small pencil tree but it had no ornaments on it. It's a long story but we still had a wonderful day and both called me when they got home about how special the day was The tree was lit up and I had a big bow on the top and several red berry sprigs in the brances. Buy the way I had stitched them each a gift this year. I'll share on the facebook page. I don't know if I'll start something new on Christmas but I'm sure I will be stitching. I have 3 WIPS I would like to finish by year end. I will be doing the 12 by 12 but I will not be able to start stitching until New Years day (I plan to start at 7:00 am) I host a New Year's Eve Early Dinner (same people I was with today) and we go to the movies. My Christmas cards are made, but not addressed and out They may not get until New Years, Also, I really like the one little word (I include in my planner on the monnthly/currently page) I have not choosen my word yet for 2023 My 2 all time favorites I every did was "joy" (that was a WOW moment each month) and "change" which I chose because I knew the industry I worked in was about to go through some major changes not in my control. OLW really helped me adjust I didn't mean to ramble, but time to go clean my kitchen and wash all those special dishes that can't go in the diswasher
I don’t have a little printer, but I am interested. About to 2 videos ago Roberta of The Sable Stitchers talked about hers and how much she enjoyed it. You may want to watch her You Tube. She said that the printer was easy to use and it hooked up to her phone. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
