Nineteen years is a good long life. I always hope for that long with my cats!

What a dig into your mind if what you love! I liked Michael’s prayer so much. Very nice tempt tempt tempt. The little cat is definitely my Jones, the sweet black girl cat.
I love your collector series. I suggest you create a ‘sampler’ collector as many of us love them, stitch them and display them. Another idea is an angel collector. I enjoy your floss tubes and look forward to them.
If I love a sampler it doesn’t matter to me if it is mirror image or symmetrical. I hope your shop move is easy and trouble free.

I am a brand new subscriber - I came upon your channel while home on a sick day and thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the new shop, which I wish I could go to, but I live in Pennsylvania! We don’t have many of those types of shops in our area anymore 😢. I went on to watch floss tube #36. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the video! I am like you - I did a lot of stitching when I was a bit younger and then didn’t stitch for about 10 years. Back with a passion! I do not have a CAT, but if I did, I would want it to look exactly like the one on the bag! I would welcome that cat into my home at any time 😊

I don't like repeating motifs, BUT like His Eye Is On the Sparrow , Smith sampler, and the Lillies repeat from one side to the other b\ c I 💘 love the design so much!!! Love Your videos...it's ALWAYS interesting to see what you have done!! HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2023!!

I find mirror images on a sampler very soothing. There is something comforting about symmetry to me. It might be the reverse of your own sense of comfort and might explain your enjoyment of non-symmetrical stitching.
Well, I definitely like the look of it on the finished sampler! I agree, very soothing. I just need to have enough time pass between stitching each side, so I'm not so bored re-doing it!
I'm still new at all this but enjoying it all. Truly enjoying your flosstubes. I started one at a time but I agree I get bored or burned out so a new start & just rotating your projects keeps it fresh. Congrats on new store. 🙂🙃

My cat, Pumpkin, likes to sit on my lap when I’m stitching 🐈 TFS!
I sometimes have a lap cat when stitching, too! (It depends. They prefer my husband's lap if he's available, because he doesn't have a hoop and fabric dangling above their head!)
I loved watching all your whips and running to find any that I have in my stash! Love the bag with the cat! Can’t wait for the next video!

Hi Sheri, Really enjoyed seeing your WIPs. It always gets me going when I see what others are stitching. As for mirror images I do like the variety but also find comfort in the repetitive of some samplers. I have a small wall in my hallway that I change out the pieces for the season. I have my upstairs all with my year round samplers that I do not put away. I just began HATS Elizabeth Weston and oh my highly recommend. Market faves: Running with Needle & Scissors “My Little Sampler” and all of Jeannette Douglas. 🥰 For Adam & Eve samplers you need to take a look at “And They Sinned”. I stayed with you for the whole video Sherri. I was stitching while I watched. I enjoyed it as always. I find I can't start a lot of cross stitch projects because I don't want to be overwhelmed. I have so many knitting projects kitted and in progress, then there are quilting projects........I don't want to make the same mistakes. Mentally it feels overwhelming.

I seem to be collecting more and more tomato patterns myself. They are just "happy"!
You asked about displaying your pieces for the seasons. I have a small house with lots of windows, so I rotate my pieces on display by seasons or holidays. This lets me enjoy all of my things throughout the year.
Plus your wall looks "new" every season. I like that idea!

I loved your WIPs and your 2nd basket of kitted projects had some awesome charts in it. Wow! I love Needlework Press patterns and appreciate the work Vickie does to produce such beautiful charts. I ordered 3 of the Loose Feathers charts from you quite some time ago and am almost finished with the first one. I really need to order the rest of them. Anything Blackbird Design tickles my fancy. 😮 I agree with stitching on lighter fabric. I saw them all stitched together on a shop tour video from Steph at Just Keep Stitching. Loved it done like that.

I too don’t really like stitching the same motif's on both sides of a sampler. There are a lot of Market Releases that I love, especially Every Opening Flower by Brenda Gervais! Thank you for answering my email about it! I have wanted it for a while after seeing it stitched up by several flosstubers.

Sheri ....I love your videos. As I am watching tonight. I'm listening to you putting a button on your large tomato. I worked in a custom made upholstery shop for 38 years. If you could double your thread through your button ahead of time with a regular needle and then thread your large needle with the thread. Then push the large needle through your tomato. Then take the needle off and thread your button on the bottom. We used large upholstery needles to put buttons on all the time. I hope I explained that in a way that makes sense. You don't need to drill your button out.

I so enjoy your newsletters each month. You have so many beautiful samplers kitted up and I hope you will show us the rest at some point. I have seen a couple Market patterns with cats that are so cute but I am not planning on buying anything unless it is a Market exclusive that I cannot live without. Other things will go on my wish list at this point as I am trying not to buy currently. Happy stitching.

Wow, those tomatoes are fantastic! You might try rice hulls for filling; I've used it to make a Temari ball. You can buy it in bulk at a home brewing supply. I don't remember what it cost, so must not have been out of line.
That's a good idea. I wonder if it's a little lighter than the crushed walnut shells?

I have two cats that I love dearly we lost our cat Max a few years ago but still have his sister Angel we hope to have her for many more years. I enjoy your videos so much, especially the samplers you're working on. I'm glad Oliver is recovering from his trauma. Unfortunately, my two Great Pyrenees pups don't let me have cats anymore. They like to supervise my stitching and the youngest at 130 lbs thinks he's still a lap puppy!
The project bag is just my style, so cat is the word with my fingers crossed
Oh my - those are big dogs! I can understand that a cat might just seem like a fun play toy to them!
