    I have to tell you Dr. Berg, when I turned 35, I had cystic breasts, Poly cystic ovaries, could not keep a pregnancy, (after having two babies years earlier), and had heavy periods. I was not overweight, but had a fatty liver and Hashimoto's.I was scheduled for a biopsy on my breasts, and was nervous. I read everything I could. I read about Progestacare, and started on a 21 day/month regiment with a dab a day on any place where fat was on my body. My breasts cleared within a month, I became pregnant, and had another girl at 36 and a boy at 42. It changed my life. Just my story. xo

      Hi whiggygirl, yes, I had my first two children at age 25 and 27, then I just could not get past the first 2 or 3 months of pregnancy. It was devastating, for 10 years. I learned that I was perimenapausal, caused by too much estrogen, among other things. I read the book What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Perimenapause, and the related, "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menapause". I also researched heavily because I was so wanting to have more babies. My local health food store had lots of natural information, and one of the most important was that I had too much estrogen to get pregnant. Your doctor will not tell you this. My breasts were painful and so lumpy that my GP sent me for numerous nuclear cancer full body scans. It came back with not one spot of cancer. But boy was I lumpy. She wanted to do a biopsy, and I had read not to, and instead to use the Progesterone cream (Progestacare). It was amazing. I never thought I would get pregnant , but from June to December I just didn't think about it, and used the cream, I was pregnant by Dec.

  • @robinsmall4457
    @robinsmall4457 6 років тому +46

    Almost brother! Again this was my arena of study for years. The female body needs progesterone to shield against estrogen signalling ...otherwise you get estrogen dominance and cellular growth of tissues such as the uterine endometrium. Stress causes cortisol release and since cortisol is a major hormone the body will actually "steal progesterone" to make cortisol and this can make a female prematurely and even temporarily estrogen dominant. BHRT uses plant based precursors that perfectly mimic progesterone and the other steroid molecules such as: testosterone and E1,E2, and E3. You want bioidentical ... and EVERY woman with low tested levels of progesterone should be put on it ...because progesterone is safe ... it surrounds a developing fetus from conception! You cannot partial agonist this important molecule ... use bioidentical derived from plants. Adrenal fatigue needs to be the first thing addressed!

      Vitex messed with me at first! Others online mention rage or sadness, too. I think starting slow has helped me. Taking the suggested dose was too much to start with. But listen to your body. I'm still finding my sweet spot and heard it takes months to adjust.
      But the DIM (I got the PURE brand) I started first and my eternal period finally stopped. My cycle is getting more normal and I'm not crying and wanting to unalive myself anymore. When I started with just the Vitex, I got more depressed. Adding it after the DIM was working has helped my mental clarity, energy, and period regularity even more. When I quit, my period got longer and PMS worse. It takes experimenting, but I wish you the best, Good luck ❤️

My acne, a cyst and a fibroid disappeared completely, and perimenopause symptoms were almost not noticeable. I thought it was keto and fasting so I stopped DIM, BUT nope, it was DIM helping bc after quitting it, no matter keto nor fasting I had the worst acne breakout ever :( Vitex I will take from day 14 of my cycle till bleed so not taking it yet, but I already restarted DIM and acne is clearing aleluia. I''be been taking Chaste Tree (Vitex Agnus-Castus) for 4 years now. It has helped me greatly. The dosage will depend on the form and the potency, I think. I take it most often as an extract of 1.3 ml with a 1:4 herb ratio. You shouldn't take a very high dosage. It works best at a lower dose over a long period of time. It is not fast acting. So, you probably won't notice anything right away. I just buy it at Whole Foods in the supplement section.

    THANK YOU for all sharing all your knowledge on healthy, non gmo, organic/pasteurized Keto living. You have changed my family’s life! I have been keto strong for 2 years and never felt better! BUT I need your help- I have low progesterone. I have been struggling with getting pregnant with our 2nd. I’ve been on Vitex (chasteberry) and DIM for 5 month. I’ve seen holistic dr’s and one told me I “may” have adrenal fatigue - how can this be I never felt better on Keto?! She also advised me to increase my carbs intake from 25g to 50g and to STOP doing IF- because my body/mind - may be in “survival mode” and that isn’t good for ovulation? What else could it be?

    I take dim and also there is a progesterone cream which is supposed to be better then 'wild yam' because it's made in a lab so somehow it's better.
    Not sure what your opinion on that is but it kind of helps more then anything I have tried but if anyone tries it, just use about one pump, using too much can cause depression out of nowhere I've had that before so I'm usually careful if I use it. I'll have to try to figure out the sea kelp.
    Have lots of these symptoms in my luteal phase crazy bloating, cravings ( but those have gotten better then they used to be), tiredness, sore breasts in the past from all the fluid retination I think ..probably a lot more ! One key thing I find is you have to try to be good to yourself,make time for yourself and just avoid stress and rest as well... tell yourself what you have to do can wait until tomorrow.
