This is the main thing I do when armwrestling in general is attack the little fingers with a drag and pronation. But this give more options . Man if I could have you as a coach oh my goodness. This is so awesome your doing this for us. No one else is giving this kind of information. Thanks a million times over sir
I never was a serious armwrestler but did the usual armwrestling growing up. I only really became really interested in competitive armwresting in the last 15 months as a side result of covid. But, I did once meet Mo Baker back in the early 1970's. I was impressed. Thanks for the informative videos. I do appreciate them.
Good evening bud hope you and your family are doing well and thank you for sharing your information and knowledge in a way anyone can learn from also I hope you start making videos again
Being a hooker... that reverse hit that you did is the hardest for me to overcome. If I lose my hand I'll go to straps and my adjustment is drag straight back and secure my cup. Is this a correct adjustment? It works for me most of the time
Yes if your wrist is strong enough which is must be. If you feel better in the straps, you probably have strong wrist but need to work on hand and fingers
Hi Bob! I think you deserve a TON more subs/likes. This is great info every video i watch! If you can, try to get one interview with John Brzenk. You've gotten so much experience in the armwrestling world, if you can just get a bit of traction on youtube....I think John could do it for you similar to how Ryan Bowen's channel blew up with his interviews etc.
So a kickback into a lowhand toproll? This'll be great. My best friend got me into arm wretling 3 years ago. Taught me everything i know. I could beat him at one point. But he has a monster for a wrist now and pulls a really mean hook. I mean my wrist hurts for days. Ive been training for this techncique for a while now and hope it works lol
@Bob Brown Armwrestling is this technique effective when they grab you low on the wrist. My left is really sensitive to block a hook when they hit me low on the wrist with the side of the palm.
Hey Bob, do you have any videos explaining the different kind of top rolls and hooks? High hooks just look like top rolls to me. Also a lot of top rolls just look like pure side pressure
My actual problem is not with stopping the hook, I rarely lose my hand but I get beaten by a pure side movement, like they just grip up with me and push towards the pad and i can’t do anything. Any tips?
@@bobbrownfun yh like brzenk gripped T.Bagent in the old days... im currently working on a press against that, i should have the better angle attacking his bizep
It’s never THIS easy, the question is if you are STRONG enough for the technique to apply. Maybe your back pressure and pronation isn’t strong enough to flatten out that hand. It’s a matter of strength
I just wanna say that Bob Brown’s school of armwrestling is my favorite thing in the world
These uploads are invaluable. Thankyou.

Amazing content. 15 years and this is one of the best defensive breakdowns I've seen
Most satisfying and informative video regarding this topic on YT. Was searching for days, but here it was. Thanks sir for this wonderful tutorial.
Bob you explain beautifully, any chance you could specific athletes breakdowns? Thanks and congrats on the good material you post.

Marcel how you find a woman who loves arm wrestlers? Did you offer her a Mountain Dew? Did you hit the pinky?
Short question bob, which is for you the more important hand strength? Always love your video!!
Wrist curls. AKA cupping
Thanks
Bob is engineering arm-wrestling, i like your dissecting approach a lot because i am the same way (Industrial engineering for me)
Listen to this man! Gold.
Loving all the good content Bob, thanks a lot!

Gotta drink Mountain Dew before you wrestle. It’ll change your game man.
Great content! Simple enough guides to follow! Thats good teaching!
Bob iam so glad I found your channel. I've learned more from your channel than as lot of others. Thank you
Great video, really broke it down.
Simple and easy to click titles. This is why I just subscribed to your channel, good sir.
Any more tricks and tips?! :)
Great content Bob !! I'm new to the sport and this helps a ton !! Thank you.

Bob could you please do a video on how to stand at the table ? Thanks Sir 😁
Just pronate out of the hook
Its nearly impossible
It isnt that easy when your opponent has a stronger hold

Just get stronger

@KUA-camK worked like a charm. I even dropped a guy who was 6'8" and 105 lbs heavier the me
Great video!
Very interesting, thank you man
Very much a video for me, top roller trying to avoid my opponent setting a hook on me. Damn you HOOKER'S 😂🤣. 💪😎💪
Love those moves
Gre stuff as always!
Anyone else looking for broken bone vids? I must say this is unusually addicting.
Lol, nope. Most people that arm wrestle, stay as far away from arm break videos as possible!
Nice advices 👌
You should be charging for your lessons. Thanks Bob
Id pay
Wow there is a science behind armwrestling...it's just not just raw strength
Buddy, you have no idea
Amazing content 👍 Great Arm wrestling channel
that thumbnail is kinda hot
Best teadcher❤❤❤
So is that move to back of pad completely back pressure? rising?
Yeah it’s like a drag so a lot of lat engagement along with rising and pronation from what I see
It’s clamped down on that pinky, you know, true power hookers, so you gotta open up the pinky.
How to stop a toproll coming soon? haha
Be stronger lol.
@@troytueller9992 spoken like a true toproller 🤣🤣😂

Toproll post with a defensive hand and pronation.
We are very spoiled. Imagine if Devon larratt or John brzenk had these resources to learn from in the beginning
Hey Bob, do you have any videos explaining the different kind of top rolls and hooks? High hooks just look like top rolls to me. Also a lot of top rolls just look like pure side pressure

Use back pressure
Thank you sir ❤️
In three words: low hand toproll
4:15 that's basically why Vitaly lost to Levan in Top 8
Got a question! In the hook what kind of regrip you can do and what you do gain better position during the match
He did a video on gaining height that explains this it maybe why do we have technique
I did a video. Its more about elbow movement to gain move leverage while staying in a hook.
@@bobbrownfun do a video about regripping sir both in hook and toproll
@@BLZArmwrestling he made a video about it already bro, it’s called:
walking the thumb/ fingers
@@derekrhightower4743 yep i found what i wanted in this video Thanks Bob
what if the hooeker grabs you low and completly takes your hand out of the game `?
Well it takes a lot of hand/wrist strength to do that but if the hooker can…..it’s time to get stronger.

No way I actually thought that i kade that moves my self but... It was exposed by u already 😅
could u do a tuto on how to make ur but grow
That reverse set looks similar to Luke Kindt's move. Very insightful Bob.
❤
Hello bob how are you
5:40 thx
❤❤❤❤
Could I stop levan with these technique?
Impossible because his figure strength, pronation, power, wrist, back pressure and side pressure everything will be superior
How to stop a hooker?
I'm broke LMFAO
Very smart ...
Good luck 🇮🇱💪🏽
if hook is that easy to counter, why don't people play toproll or somethinh

All hooks are just failed top rolls lets be honest.
