This is exactly the type of content I’ve been scouring the internet for since I started arm wrestling - and the element of the sport that doesn’t come particularly intuitively to me. Such a great channel.
very informative! 💪 May I request more "notes" to be added in the future? For example, when u talk about "TopRoll" u can add an image illustrating the moves So does "Supinates" etc Because u guys using alot of word jargon, and I am a beginner learning ArmWrestling, there is a limitation of what a layman can understand. and this art is so cool!
Thank you guys! This video finally made these concepts click for me. Although I’m sure in a years time I’ll look back on this and think, “I had no idea what I didn’t know.” Seriously, great job explaining the hook, post and LHTR
Great inspirational content! We armwrestlers on the west coast Canada 🇨🇦 are building up a great team! Thanks for the motivation and passing knowledge Table Monkeys!
Absurdly good video. Lays out all the techniques and what counters what. Nobody else has a video like this out you guys fr have a gem here. Gonna come back a bunch
This is such an insanely informative video guys. Holy hell. I'm definitely going to be more mindful of what people are doing when I arm wrestle now. It's like RPS but with other factors involved too.
With these videos you guys literally elevate the sport. People will look back at these one day as the first clear exposition of expertise in arm wrestling. Amazing work
This was god damn awesome! You really make good sense guys. I hope you cover some setup hand, center table stuff as well. Your giving us such a clear picture of your information. A real service for the sport. Thanks guys 💪
Awesome this will really help. I was doing ready gos with a guy and he was destroying me I didn’t understand as I was able to beat him in practice pulls, now I have come to realise its was him denying my top roll through his engaged hook. Thanks for the teaching now I will show him who’s boss.
Love the content gents. I honestly believe that the Lowhand is probably the most technically challenging of all the moves on the hill. It just seems like you need the most hand and arm strength at the same time to pull it off reliably and consistently.
Hey guys I was wondering if you could do a video analyzing the way I arm wrestle and my strengths and weaknesses I really love your content in the way you analyze Armwresling keep up the good work guys 💪🏼
Thank you it’s very interesting learning these techniques. I’m 15 in high school and I went from being the weakest of my friends to beating them and wanna keep challenging myself with stronger people so this will help a lot
great content. great thing to teach new armwrestlers on how to move. always had a problem what technique to explain and which one should they use after the go. Now i can show them the 3 options
Why John is versatile is NOT only in "moves", he most often grips up in a way that he has multiple options right there and then. He can make adaption on his setup if his multiple options isn't good enough to get advantage on the opponent. The technique should be dictated from the feel of the grip and the resistance you get.
That was one of the best videos I've seen... amazing work guys! My low hand toproll always gives my friend's toproll a hard time, why is that? How does that work? I would love if you can explain the dynamics between these two moves!
Is posting toproll really a good counter to low hand top roll? I feel the opposite cuz my back muscle dragging strength (for low hand) is far better than my biceps and brachioradialis (for posting), and I think this is the case for most ppl.
Hey guys, love this content! Do you find that guys with shorter arms and smaller hands tend to go outside or inside more often? Why might that be? Thanks 🦾
Great video guys. As a separate thought I would love it if you could somehow convince Devon to do a full body weightlifting program in the lead up to Levan. He would have a lot easier time healthily gaining weight, and could sure use that extra upper body strength to pin Levan.
@@tablemonkeys5262 hopefully he comes around to it. Levan just proved how important rule number 1 of arm wrestling is for winning matches at a high level.
Great video. I think I might disagree slightly on the goal of the low hand toproll. To me, the low hand toproll attacks the pinky side of the fingers and wrist. If you can go straight through the hand, you’re not in the same strength realm.
I like how you break down a hook, low hand, and post as like rock, paper, scissors. I’m not sure this works as well in the straps. Low handers have a lot more access to drag in the straps than posting top rollers do, and the posters ability to rise is limited. It might make low handing ideal in the strap against a poster if the low hander’s cup and finger strength is strong.
For posting vs low hand the levers make a big difference in the outcome, but if they are close the posting TR will have an advantage over the low hand both in the strap and out of the strap. The strap also makes it a lot easier for the hook puller to turn in a low hand. The strap will change things a bit, but the concepts still apply..
Can you guys talk about John Braznk pointer finger slightly under thumb and middle finger slightly on top of thumb grip? No one talks about it but its really strong against stopping any top roll. No one uses this grip but it’s so over powered if you have strong fingers.
Fuck yea. I'm less than 6 months in but I understand this shit better than everything else....except actual table time. I just hope u guys are accurate cause I'm absorbing it like a sponge. Lmao

Really liking the content guys, this explaination really helped me understand aw and how the different techniques effect one another.
Thanks man:)
I wish I was close enough to train with these guys. Good stuff. I'm all alone. *single tear rolls down my face*
Me too 😢

This was great. I need more of these in depth technique explanations. Would love to host you guys in North bay for a practice sometime

very well explained guys!!!!!
great content. great thing to teach new armwrestlers on how to move. always had a problem what technique to explain and which one should they use after the go. Now i can show them the 3 options
The low hand will be hard to teach new guys but definitely start with the post and hook!
Love it!

If your cup beats his rise/pronation then that would make a lot of sense! Strength is still the #1 factor!
@@tablemonkeys5262 That makes sense since I've been working out my cup a lot with the multispinner!
great content it is great How you explained it !!!
great content for sure

Haha man that’s impossible. It might help, it might not. Personally I’m not sure, but one thing I am sure of is that it ain’t happening!
@@tablemonkeys5262 Damn sucks. He’s always baffled that he can’t gain weight, but only trains his right forearm which I don’t get lol.

It’s a great grip, and we both like using it depending on who we are pulling. We can definitely do a video about that

Is high hook most superior technique among all ?
💪
informative
perrfeect ejucation
Its actually a circle, not a triangle and the missing link between kings moove and flop press is the todd-roll
Interesting theory
Wtf is a sweeping toproll ?
I don't know why but the phone ring was funny
It's almost like you are saying styles make matches.
