On another video someone made an astute observation that I have not heard anyone else discuss (I'm sorry to the person for forgetting your name.)
She said that anytime JD is describing an event he physically displays defensive motions (blocking, cowering, protecting the head/body, etc) while AH uses her body to physically display actions of the aggressor (holding a bottle a certain way, striking, pushing, tearing, throwing, etc).
For what it's worth, I found this interesting and a very keen observation.
Why would you take sleeping pills and put yourself in a vulnerable position with somebody who just attacked you in the house it just doesn't make sense why would you do that

I'm on Team JD, but having been in an abusive relationship with someone who owned the house I was staying in, and not wanting to give up on my university degree, I've taken a sleeping pill and just tried to get enough sleep to function the next day.
It's years ago now, but I still remember the feeling of "I'm not safe either way and I've nowhere else to go; guess I'll try to get some sleep so at least I can get something done tomorrow when he's at work".

On more than one occasion, Amber said “it felt like he was hitting me” and “it looked like he was punching me”. Given how hysterical she is, I could believe she ‘felt’ like he was physically hurting her even if he wasn’t. Strangely vague word choices when she’s providing so much specific detail about everything else.

when she recorded him in the kitchen, the body language expert said, she was calm and if she was worried, he would kill her, her hands would have shaken BUT THE camera was not
I was nearly beaten to death by my children’s father. I was in ICU for a week and had to get reconstructive surgery on my face. It wasn’t nearly as eventful as these so called assaults that AH received. Broken glass inside your genital area from a bottle? Why wasn’t she hospitalized? Why doesn’t she have more detailed pics of these alleged assaults? It’s obvious that she pulls her phone out and takes pics because of the ridiculous pics that she has of Johnny, so you would think that she would have documentation of these alleged beatings. She was also implying in the beginning of her testimony that JD has a lot of power and ppl behind him…I think she did that to implant the idea that these ppl may be lying for him. I believe JD because the evidence is speaking for itself!

I highly doubt that doctors, nurses and police would risk their licences and career just to save JD's reputation.
She is making it harder for actual survivors to come forward. It's disgraceful.
And yes, she takes pictures of some hair on the floor, but not all the blood everywhere. Some knocked over stuff next to the bed but no injuries. Ridiculous.

Haley, that’s a horrendous story and I’m so sorry you went through it. I also agree with you - in an early relationship when I was 19, my boyfriend hit me. It was minor - nothing LIKE your experience - but I had a bruise and a swollen cheekbone.
The police took photos of my face. Not me, not a friend. It went on record incase he ever did it again. I can’t buy her story at all.
I hate confrontation. I was anxious and afraid but I still called the police for advice. I can’t believe Amber was more of a shrinking violet than I was back then and I question why she didn’t do the same.

I think that verdict was more about protecting the paper than any truth. We just saw this not too long ago with the Meghan Markle case. She Admitted to perjury, said "Sorry, I forgot" and she walked away. The judges in both cases are doing what they are told to do, regardless of truth.
Amber's sister and Amber's make up artist needs to testify. All Heard needs to do is have a doctor and just medical records to show she was battered. The injuries she describes in this case should be horrific and would require medical care.
That's what I was thinking where is the medical records and with what she describe yesterday with the bottles I would think that would of really needed medical attention.

That’s an understatement in of itself. Her Australia story would leave a human either dead or permanently incapacitated, certainly with many mutilations and months in a hospital. But she flew with Ben King that same day.
At 14 I dropped a glass platter in my foot. There was blood everywhere and I stepped on pieces of glass. I had to call 911 and go to emergency. The hospital called both my parents and my Mother stopped at home to grab some things to me and she thought there had been a murder in the house from how much blood there was. I only got 5 stitches on the gash and my entire house looked like a crime scene. I had to use a wheel chair for a month while the soles of my feet healed. If what she said happened actually took place there would be pools of blood for her to take pictures of and she certainly wouldn't be standing making coffee the next day.

i still havent heard Johnny's whole testimony. i think this is my time to catch up. The court is on break and this just feels like the right time to catch up. The amount of times i have rolled my eyes just listening to her lie like that!!!!!

I think this trial is so important because JD has become the voice of people that has been affected by clever, manipulative, narcissistic person that will go to any length to win and destroy the other person.

It's impossible that she feels these theatrical emotions. She's in court battles since 2016. She talked with lawyers, friends, experts, media people.... and now suddenly - when she's on the stand - these emotions would come up? No, if one is in a years long court battle the initial feelings cool down and are replaced by factual thinking to win the court case. I hope the jury is aware of that, as well.

I could feel the second hand embarrassment off of just about everyone in the courtroom when she went into that terribly acted fake crying breakdown about the Australia incident. Seemed she wrote down the worst things that could possibly happen to a human from the scrapbooks of Ivan the Terrible and Emperor Nero and crammed it into her tale without thinking about how a human would survive that or come out of it with no injuries whatsoever. I was half expecting her to say he rode her down with a war chariot whilst brandishing a spear.

That feeling of hotness on his hand, and no pain at the moment is quite true . My grandfather had an accident on his truck, and he had both his legs crushed. He said to my mom that he didn't feel pain at all, just hotness at the point the legs were still intact. The pain arrives much later, when the stress wears off.
In case of overwhelming pain, the transmitters get clogged up like a traffic jam. The pain simply can't get to the brain, so you can't feel it. When I got bit in the upper lip, and started bleeding everywhere as it almost was split in two, I *knew* it was horrible *because* I couldn't feel anything. Human body is crazy.

There is a tape just after this incident but they cannot include it in the court because it's not only her and Johnny on the tape but also the doctor and the security guard. Listen to it and you will hear how she says to him "I am sorry , I didn't mean to" when they were preparing him for operation... there's no doubt in my mind she is lying..awful

I heard from somewhere that 3 women on the jury were nodding along in agreement with amber during parts of her testimony. I hope it’s not true but it’s possible at least one or some of them will believe her.
@@campfortune he did text Dr kipper that he was the one that cut it, however it was because he was too scared to tell the truth. Later on in privacy, he told kipper Amber did it and how. Please look up the clip where they show the text and Johnny explains it.

Its scary that they wont allow the jury to hear the parts of the tape that unravel her whole story. If you have'nt heard them yet, seek them out.
I know a woman who was violently assaulted by her husband, and despite their toxic alcohol /drugs fuelled relationship, she pressed charges and he went to prison over an episode not dissimilar to what AH accuses JD of. I cannot fathom how she had no medical attention /no disclosure to friends /family and no staff realised the severity of such incidents? None of this detail surfaced before this case, I'm sure charges would have been brought against JD? However, the woman I mention continued secret contact with her imprisoned husband, breaking terms of his sentence and he lost parole. They took up together again on his release, more violence ensued. I really can't work out if some people are addicted to toxic relationships, but if AH has fabricated such violent assaults with gruesome details, she really is disturbed. Was JD so messed up with booze, Coke and opioids that he was a monster at times? Very worrying that we may never get to the truth. Probably like a lot of women, I feel bad dismissing her claims, but I'm not hearing from his friends, family or employees that they ever felt he was violent or abusive? Usually there will be signs, not least of injuries to AH if she was beaten by a heavier built man wearing rings that would damage skin.. Assault with a bottle is horrific, why wait all these years to say it? Surely a therapist would have urged charges be brought, it is the singularly worst accusation of all her testimony.
I don't know if someone else has pointed to the fact that when Depp gives his testimony it looks (he behaves) as he is actually re-creating the event. On the other hand, when Heard describes memories really painful or embarrassing, she always looks towards the jury as to see their reaction or to verify if they are believing her.

After seeing Johnny Depp’s and his attorneys’ reaction to AH saying she “just thought of kate moss and stairs and started swinging”…I’m excited to see what sinkhole she stepped in with that one. Cross examination can’t come soon enough.
Go check real people who are emotionally invested in their traumatic story : they loose their voice and actually struggle to get to the point. They don't cry like babies (you know, the breath cry). You see them swalowing a lot because they feel like their throat is blocked and they feel pressure.
You can see their "weird" facial expressions and them sometimes biting their lips, trying to hold their tears while they speak.
here we have : no shaky voice, not visibly trying to hold tears, able to speak rather fluently, forced facial expressions...I mean, that was aweful.

Normally if I see someone crying, I'm very much a sympathy crier and I'll feel like crying with them. When amber crys, it's so put on I don't feel anything at all, I don't feel sorry for her. It just makes me cringe.

So she claimed she didn't know if the bottle that was inside her was broken or not? And she didn't go to a hospital or at least a doctor to get checked out? You're afraid you may have had a broken bottle inserted inside, with force, punching like force, and yet you don't go see a doctor? This just seems to be designed to draw attention away from the fact that she cut the end of his finger off, a good way to make his injuries seem less important.
As a woman, there's no way I would NOT have gone to a hospital as immediately as possible after something like that. I cannot understand why she wouldn't have. At the very least I would want to make sure I wasn't cut or ripped or broken down there after something like that. 😢

Yes, now that I think of it, Depp almost always looked to his left, away from the jury. Almost never tried to play to them.

She faces the jury and searches for eye contact with them individually as she testifies. No other witness has done so, and has faced the attorneys asking the questions. An actor knows his audience.
It’s weird how often she looks at them. I’d think victims of this kind of thing would avoid eye contact with everyone in the court except maybe their lawyer. I’m wondering if Johnny has been told not to make eye contact with her. He looks down all the time. He’s behaving more like a victim and being a man perhaps embarrassment too. Men don’t come forward about assault often. Perhaps embarrassed as well about his drinking and drugs. Hope he gets help with that. I’m thinking neither is going to have too many parts offered in the future because of this.

Nothing she did, looked authentic to me. Typically, when expressing stressful emotions. Crying, anger, etc. The face expresses a lot of involuntary muscle control in certain areas. The reason AH’s face, IMO, looks weird is because you can tell she is voluntarily trying to replicate involuntary muscle control to reflect the correct emotions; that she failed at miserably. While trying to keep eye contact with jurors to read the room and reactions. She is very manipulating and uses contrived emotions that don’t look authentic, at all. SHE IS CRINGE TO THE MAX.
I know right! It was so sus how she can keep eye contact with the jury and cry as if she's making sure her story is selling. When you cry and remember about something that happened, I don't think you can look at a person directly throughout while explaining it. You would look at an empty space while you see flashbacks of what happened.

When you cry, especially as hard as she was trying to make it look, everything on your face drips. Your nose gets snotty your eyes are red and weepy. Most of all your face turns red...beat red...she isn't crying, it's an act.
Yes haha thank you!! I know people have mentioned the lack of tears but if someone's actually that upset yeah you have to wipe your face, tears your nose and even coughing feeling like you might choke on your own words and spit. She's just contorting her face terribly
And all make up should be messed up, if all that fake crying is real. And if everything she said that happened to me, had to testify in front of a jury and my abuser, I would have broke down uncontrollable sobbing, or at least a streams of tears.

One comparison for me is one individual was articulate whereas the other continually uses the word, “like” every other word while lying, exaggerating and pretending to cry.
At one point she apparently says "I'm walking out of the door and Johnny slaps me across the face and I turn around to look at him" how 🤔
There's also the one where she is pinned on the floor with Johnny's knee in her back, while looking in his face and noticing he's still wearing his glasses.
This is a really good coverage to see the truth and the lies in this.
Theres a lack of vocabulary and range when she describes the apparent torment she's endured for years. Trauma speaks for itself with depth and clarity from the truth of the experience, you don't need to add any other histrionics to it.
And how she tells that story of sv with a bottle, she felt pressure? Not pain? She would have needed medical care at once. Women die bc of that . She has not the slightest idea of injuries and pain.
People with trauma can't tell their story that easily..
