I'm a speech pathologist, and throughout the entire trial, I continuously watched her display what is called a "Narcissistic Smirk." It was bone chilling.

Then she had the cheek to say she wasn't smirking throughout the trial, the final 2 weeks she showed her true facial expressions. She was smirking and snarky as it gets. She makes me sick🤢🤮

There is nothing more exhausting than being stuck in a marriage with someone who isn't happy unless they are angry at you.
I've been in marriage to 16 wives and 25 adoptive daughters. We were and still are together like a happy. Sure we have our disagreements, but arguing or someone like Amber is the worst aspect that would contribute to a divorce. Thankfully, none of us went through this.

I've been in a toxic relationship... Not to this degree, but I've been in this position of having my emotions manipulated... You feel so helpless and lose all sense of what is the right or wrong decisions.
I'm happy I only went through that once. Johnny has had to endure all of this again... I have serious respect for him. I hope this has given other men who may be going through a similar situation the confidence to speak up.

I’ve been in a situation with a person like her(no violence) who finds a way to keep you in their toxic bubble, and it’s the worst. @@c.aleb6 Not an excuse. I live with BPD as a result of childhood/young adult trauma, but have been in therapy for years. It makes my life harder, but it doesn't mean I can treat people badly. It also doesn't mean I'm inherently a monster or bad person. It means I have to work to overcome the impulses I have.

That’s when you know a person has gotten to the point when there isn’t anymore fight left in them. She took him to the far edge to where he no longer wanted to live and just wanted to end it all but she just kept pushing and punching and kicking and not once was enough for her. Was she somehow preventing him from walking? There were moments of silence, and he then would start talking. He didn’t need her permission to leave. He could have left immediately. He was baiting her. Then he’d play innocent, only wanting to leave and how she wouldn’t let him leave. She wasn’t able to stop him. He didn’t want to resolve anything. She wanted to resolve it. That was the entire argument. He wasn’t interested in resolution. He seems very hard, inflexible. He should have told her he was leaving, then got up and left. Period

To know what it is like to be at your end and feel the dispair of being manipulated, cornered, gass lit so badly by someone you thought loved you and think that you must be going mad.
Worse still is hard trying to unlearn what they taught you after you have left and trying to overcome the feeling that maybe we are like them who raised us.
But we were never going mad. We were just going against our better judgement and trusting this person. But now I am free from that influence and life is so much better knowing we are not the same as them and that they are gone.

my Ex was exactly like this. i would wait for hours listening to her rant but when i try to speak calmly i get shutdown. finally ended it 2 month ago i feel soo much better. everyone believe her but not me till she started acting up in public which was lucky for me. i never let anyone ride over my head and life, far from that kind of person but sometimes emotions change you to more accepting towards a certain person till you split for sometime and feel relief instead of sadness. during an argument i would tell her calm down go home for the night or sleep and we`ll talk in the morning on a clear mind and no people like that dont like that they take it to the next level from there on

What's intersting to note... is the stuff he said during the objections when his defense tried to cut him off without revealing specific things... each one of those vindicated him accidentally (noticed the casual comments solidifying that this was a volatile relationship on both ends despite her "poised and scripted responses".

The "I don't want to be with you anymore" audio is heartbreaking. He's not saying it to be mean, he's not saying it as a threat to break up, he genuinely sounds as if he's come to the epiphany that Amber never loved him and is sad about it. I think we've all had that sort of realization with toxic ppl we loved and how heartbreaking it is to realize that person never truly loved you. The sadness in Depp's voice here is truly heartwrenching.

She was trying to make it sound like he was physically hurting her. He was talking about needing and taking space away from her she would constantly twist his words so he could not make a move in any direction. It all lead to him being at fault. He could do nothing to appease her insecurities.
The look on his face is so devastating. It shows all the pain and how traumatized he is. It's so very sad.
