i actually encourage you to upload your own "dear future me" video (since its the beginning of the year) and hold yourself to those goals you set. in a year you can look back and see how far youve come. you dont have to upload it to youtube. you can set it as a private/unlisted youtube video or just save it in your phone. (youtube is probably safer because its there forever u might clear ur phone or smth)
if you really want to take your goals seriously, do a video. dont show anyone, dont tell anyone. just you. you're doing this for future you. true self love is when you look back and instead of hating your past self you say "you were kinda stupid but thank you for doing that for me." good job me **aggressively pats my back**
and btw this video isn't a 1 year transformation, it is just a checkpoint in my journey. a quick look back. crazy how one year on self improvement can greatly reverse 16 years of bad habits, experiences etc
I just want to give a tip that you should decrease the sound of the music a little bit and increase your voice sound. That way it would be easy to understand and without any effort.

@@mirage999 there is always someone better and younger than you, it hurts. I'm 18 and feel axactly the same as you. I also have various health issues and I am almost blind (-10 on both eyes). And you know what? I'll try to make myself happy by doing what I like. I will try, probably fail a couple of times, and then try again, doing little better than before. We got this, dudes!
P.S. Just wanted to say that it's okay to have bad days too. For example, yesterday was a shitty day for me: I did nothing productive, felt stuck, etc.
I guess we need to be conscious about things we've done wrong and learn from them. This process is slow and painful, but I guarantee you will feel better afterwards. Peace ✌️

success is doing ordinary things for extra ordinary amounts of time. so focus. which if youve seen my video on how to balance school and self improvement, focus is having LESS so u can truly focus ur energy into what remains. “focus isnt saying yes to one thing. focus is also the ability to say no to a hundred other good ideas. im more proud about the things we didnt do than the things we did do.” - steve jobs. the ability to stay focused and consistent on one thing is a superpower.

I am currently 17 will turn 18 in 4 months; and all I did in past 2 years is think that what will happen if I did things I really wanted to. I had goals planned out in my mind; I even did some for few months but then stopped, even though I already knew what a huge turn my life could take if I stayed consistent; but I always used to get distracted and still do.
In 2024, I thought that I will do my best in self-improvement part of my life but, I fell back into the same loop. I always use that "this is not the right time for me" as excuse. I hope that I find right system for me to achieve my goal.
AND thats why I am proud of you; you did what you wanted to at an early age; though I lost a bit of my time; I will try my best to recover my years by working extremely hard and do well this year.

well literally many people are gonna be jealous of u ruff..but many will be inspired to to push harder.. u have set an example that being young has nothing to do with getting best results ... and having such a general (but in genz) extraordinary info about life since u read books...it impacts your mind..i had started reading a book since november 2023 and personally since then i have felt a huge amount of change took over my mindset ...i don't stress over the future anymore i don't feel worried about what others will say if i failed at it atleast i gave my best and i know it ... i have go better than the old me... i learnt something valuable i invested my time in something that's worth to be noticed and chasing.. and here one big thing i found u this year ruff !! even if i forget the path anyhow or get distracted by a poor lazy a$$ bi*tch ...your videos will always slap the hell out of my face...to get up and do the right thing...to improve even if there is one percent chance of betterment ... (thanks a lot omg my emotional a$$ got activated )... keep uploading such artistic videos... that helps not only us but u too to get better...

My first day finding you, and already subscribed. The first video i watched is the "Don't tell your friends about self-improve". I, too, am on a journey, and i've been trying to get my sister to dive the world of self-improvement. I am really close to her, so might as well make her someone i can look and, "yeah, i'm proud of her". But the thing is she just do the things i tell her to do while not really understanding the why.
After watching a few vid, i realized you and I have some similarities in our mindset. So i decided to sub, and we're in the same range of age, i want to know what people my age think.

Ruff, I really agree with the friend thing. Literally, all my friends are from school and only 1 guy (prolly the best one) sometimes messages me to ask how I am.
The rest just don't care if I show up or not, and now that I know that well, I only talk to my friends outside my school hours when I am working with them on sth like a project or if they approached me first, bcz I keep realizing I am the only one who bothers to ask people how they are and stuff.
I also recently stopped going on discord, and I am very happy with that as well.

Hey Ruff! I am also Video Editor and i want to help you guys.
I usually use a service from Adobe called FrameIO, where you can upload videos for free and leave comments on moments that may not be suitable for you or require small changes.
In order not to waste time rendering and uploading the video, set a lower bitrate (10 on FH and 15 on 4K), so you will save on the time it takes to upload to the service itself. You may even get faster rendering.

So I take a cold shower in the mornings but in the afternoon I have like school and stuff and sometimes it gets really hot and I sweat a lot but since I already took my cold shower in the morning, I don't take it later in the evening and when I go to sleep at night it just feels gross. high standard friends in my opinion usually refer to friends and people you keep them around for a mutual benefit, in certain cases to say you both expect things from each other but in the sense that both of you have similar goals in life, and are driven by a passion to achieve them, but along the way, that you both inspire and contribute to the personal growth of the both of you. having friends like these around would help to change your mindset and would make you realize what has made deviate you from your path all along. i think this is a pretty solid advice that he gives, in my personal experience, this has also proven to be true.
