I belong to Basti, a place just 70 kms from Gorakhapur. In 90's and early 00's Amarmani's gang of kidnappers were a terror to be reckon with, many kids from prominent families were kidnapped. A very close family friend was kidnapped from his school in those days. Slowly their influence waned and kidnappings stopped. But Tripathi's should remain in jail. Total failure of Yogi government.

Living in UP I think this release hurts Yogi more than favouring him as his image of anti crime or no bullshit for crime is what actually got him reflected. Every community wants to feel safe and secure to grow.

This is a common story in India . Powerful people and politicians rarely are held accountable or spend time in jail. Look at Ram Rahim who was convicted of rape and murder but the BJP government in Haryana keeps releasing him on parole and he spends time in his ashram in luxury

In this 4 minute part of the CTC, he called Brijbhushan "Very Powerful", "So Powerful" at least 50 times and just casually remarking that Brijbhushan was a Dawood Ibrahim aid, had hosted his hitmen after Mumbai Attack and that he almost killed a Samajwadi Party worker.
When using such "illustrated" language for Amarmani Tripathi, should Shekher not "Cut the clutter" on the background of Brijbhushan Singh (due to whom today wrestlers can't even compete under Indian National Flag, get the pride of listening to the Indian National Anthem and saluting our National Flag) and how he became so "Powerful".
And lastly Dharan... , Do not try to use filthy or derogatory language. Cause when we start reciprocating, your generations will start weeping - wherever they are.
