4.26 I can't seem to use the transforms track. My object slowly floats down and acts weird until I pause the sequence, then it'll simulate properly
@@iansapp i have same problem, solved this by importing static mesh as skeletal mesh and animation simulation physics checkbox in sequencer works properly

My only critique would be that you have a lot of silent, non-explanatory parts in this video (especially 6:14 to 6:34 is completely silent with "wild clicking"). My tip would be to either cut out those parts completely, add some voice later or plan the tutorial stricter. Nevertheless, it is still a great, short, easy-to-understand tutorial!
Can you please make a tutorial on how to add a destructible object to the scene and record it in sequencer. What I mean by destructible is a rock or something shattering or breaking into pieces
I know this is an old comment, but I've been struggling with this issue and figure others may be as well. I'm working in UE5. No matter what I did, I couldn't get a fractured asset simulation to capture on the sequencer, despite numerous attempts (recording sequence with record button, using take recorder, changing a million settings, etc.). As it turned out, it was capturing it, but would never play back. However, once you render the clip you've simulated using movie render queue, it shows up in the final render. It must be a bug, and I've submitted a bug report to Unreal. Just wanted to write it out because I spent an entire day trying to figure it out and was annoyed that it was probably a bug, not me. If someone knows of a way to do it, let me know!
Could you do tutorial "how to walk" or something like that becouste I want to learn how to do animations like you ;)

I do have a few questions (but I kinda think I should have asked them in the first video of this playlist!?! But I didn’t think about most of them until a few minutes ago)!?!
So when it comes to drawing/designing that character/any character are you doing it piece by piece?!? Or did the program do a lot of the look for you?!?
If you are making (let’s just say) a action scene and you have all the colors and shadows already on the character do you have to design every single thing while that character is in motion? Or (for example) if you say the sun is out of view but it’s in the top right side of this character, will the shadows follow the correct path as the character is running forward or being blasted backwards?
And I know you are on a computer, but can you get these programs on anything else where you can design everything from (let’s just say) a tablet/iPad and then when you want to put it all together and add sound effects and whatever else you want in the screen then you can send it over to a computer to piece everything together?!? Or (even better) is there a way I could do literally all of it off of my iPad?!?
I have a few more questions, but this is already really long and I’d like to find out if I’m going to get any answers from at least these ones first before I ask more!?! But also, if the answers aren’t really the ones I need to be able to do what I’m thinking about…… then I don’t really need to ask the other ones in the first place!!! Have a great weekend!!!

Great tutorial! I have 2 objects colliding and breaking apart in pieces that works perfectly in the game mode, but How i can to make it work on sequencer?
what if we don't have a skeletal mesh with physics asset? I have a car blueprint with physical constraints. how do I do that?
How do you render movie to image sequence and still capture the physics simulations? When I try this, the sequencer does not export the actor with physics attached.
Have you ever found a solution? I'm stuck on this too!
Christinna You have to record to sequencer to capture the physics simulations, then export from the recorded sequence. I was only using the regular sequencer and that is what caused my issue.

@@jasoncorganbrown I tried to record to sequencer my capture with cloth simulation but it does not work, have you ever tried that?
@@sylwiaannaszymczyk4278 cloth is a more complex issue I’m still trying to figure out. My characters with cloth that are imported need alot of manual attention. There is a Groom plugin that I believe helps with setting up hair.

I'd you're looking to teach and explain youve missed the mark, but its cool. Vid is a good reference. Gotta immerse yourself in it
I try to simulate cloth on my character in sequencer but looks weird. I did a walkcycle and I use the transforme track to move my character in sequencer but when I simulate its very bad the cloth is very stretch but If the character don't move then it's perfect. I don't understand how to fix that.

Do I have to physically start the simulation in the UI every time? That hardly seems effective. Thanks.
Once you start rendering using Sequencer or the Movie Render Queue, all simulations will kick in automatically during the process, as during these UE is already in 'Game' mode
