Have you found a way to make the start time at anywhere else besides the beginning? No matter what, when I record the sequence, the fracture always starts at the zero mark.

Hey, I am new to unreal engine. Can we get the realistic rigid body destruction simulations with Unreal, like other softwares like maya, houdini, c4d. I am planning to use it for filmmaking. I haven't seen any tutorial or video which has robust workflow for these destruction simulations. Even the unreal engine showcase video doesn't feel like the softwares can achieve. So should i spend time learning this chaos system or use my older setups for these types of simulations? Thank You.
Nothing seems to be working in UE 5.4 with fracture in the sequencer. Shows up fine in the preview but will not record the chaos fracture to video. Any Help?
Great tutorial! Quick question, though. In 1:24 to 1:26 you transitioned from a blank viewport (like the black background) back to the normal map we first had. How did you do this?

Fantastic, but the cache works until I hit render. Then it loses the cache, and cant reproduce it. Made sure it was saved and all. Still cant render it. Any ideas the hell is going on?

Make separate niagara system to make small rocks as mesh rendered and then attach spawn from chaos into it. Now use those small rocks emitter as smoke source

I get to 7:55 in the tutorial . I go to simulate move the bomn I have the same settings for use bomb with zero delay and it works in the record mode. Then when i switch to static pose to view the cached recording nothing happens. I am using 5.4.1. Any ideas on how to fix this?
im having the same issue and did what you did, installing the plugin and everything, im also on 5.4 but still nothing is being recorded, do u know why that could be happening?

Record it normally and instead of start time component use chaos cache so that you can set ur fracture at your desired frame.

use Play mode instead. Static pose mode just makes a static pose

From where did you get bomb? and it's anchor??
Its in "Engine Content" the folder below Content for me

Only thing I’m struggling with in 5.3 is the bomb still being visible in the movie render queue. Even after turning of visibility.

Turns out you have to turn on another plugin if your using a USD file for caching
