- Опубліковано 4 сер 2020
- Jon Taffer doesn’t always get into it with reluctant bar owners and employees, but when he does, he DOES. Here are Season 3’s biggest blowups, including drunk owners, a few who refuse to believe there are roaches in their drinks, and much, much more.
#BarRescue #ParamountNetwork
Jon Taffer embarks on a cross-country tour of the worst drinking establishments in America. Bad drinks, wild staffs, and wasted owners conspire against him and his experts as they give failing businesses one last shot at success.

One of the best quotes I’ve ever heard 💯💯💯
valid.
Can't argue with that.
In 2021, Jon agreed with Fox News host Laura Ingraham's comparison of Americans receiving temporary unemployment benefits due to the COVID-19 pandemic to dogs that must be kept hungry in order to elicit obedience. He later apologized, and it was revealed that his LLC accepted nearly $61,000 of government PPP loans during the pandemic.

John: These cameras don't mean s*** to me!

I don’t think he meant towards the crew.
It was definitely more directed to the manager who called him a “TV bar man” and he was just bringing up his reputation as a bar consultant.
That's hella funny

This comment gave me a nice laugh 🤣

Owners: call the show for help
Also owners: questions Jon and his authority
Sometimes the owners are so out of touch with reality (or so drunk) that another employee / the owner’s friend of family has to call John.
If you’re friends are jeopardizing your business and losing you money that is the opposite of having your back. 😑
Exactly. A lot of men and women are just desperate for companionship. It’s really pathetic.
I ALWAYS pay at my friends businesses, even if they attempt to comp me..now, i have taken a discount here n there but i always pay..they have families to feed just like i do
@@theadmiral460 the point still is; if so called ‘ friends’ are jeopardizing another’s business, they are truly not friends. Being too nice never got anyone anywhere. Naivety isn’t cute, it’s pathetic.
But I can tell you’re one of those people who needs to be accepted so you’ll pay anything for crappy stuff/ food as long as they are your ‘ friends’. I’m sure they love your money and just like you.

He chose..poorly
and he called them to come in. like wtf?
lol seriously “K O”
Jon’s reaction said it all
The best part is when they start respecting what Jon has to say, and so the three of them start working together to save the bar. Steve and Brad are still running a successful bar today and they kept adding good ideas to what Jon left them.
This guy had the AUDACITY to call Jon Taffer a "TV Barman"?! Boy this guy has a hell of a lot more guts than I do! He's lucky Taffer didn't belt him in the frickin' mouth!
DAMN RIGHT!!!
Wouldn't call it audacity so much as ignorance.
Ironically that bar is one of the most successful of the Bar Rescues, which they took the concept he gave them and expanded on it
That guy has a point theres so many cases of ppl exposing jon. He doesn't even know how to make an old fashion and he says "it's the easiest drink to make" lol jon is all for show. There was a article saying that most of the bars he "saves" go down to shit after

@@TeddyOG Everyone is this comment chain missed the point 😂😭 The guy was saying Jon made the ID specifically to "set them up" and say they were letting people with fake ID's in.. He was saying "that's fake" as in "that's not a real ID that was given to an employee" fake lol
That roach bar guy is literally insane. I have no clue why all those customers didn’t demand their money back and leave immediately
And the cat piss? Ugh
Idk why anyone would hang out there! I wouldn’t have even sat down, I’d walk out so fast
The issue is is that it’s right down the street from UT AUSTIN.
I would've smacked him upside the head if the cameras weren't filming.
It's literally right next to a university, and let's be honest when u were 18 you probably didn't give it much of a thought where u drank
I worked at 3 bars as a bartender in my early 20's. Only one survived more than 10 years. The other 2 closed within 2 years. The reason? Those 2 owners drank everyday. And giving out free booze to his friends and young girls.
"There's bugs all over Austin! There's bugs all over America!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Jon's like the Mike Tyson of Bar Business lol. Straight up Mercenary
Rule number one: NEVER hire your friends into your business.
More specifically: NEVER, EVER, hire those who are prone to incompetence.
And don’t pursue sexual relations with them either 🤮
Yup
And never talk shit to your consumer
There's friends you know you can hire and then there's friends you only hire because they are your friends. You have to distinguish who is a good worker and who is someone you just like a lot.
They are all so aggressive and kick off at the slightest bit of legit criticism. Wtf? Like thin skinned babies in grown up bodies.
They just want their bottle, lol
It’s staged, duh
Hulk Hogan eh, I mean kinda. I bartended in a place that the show was interested in having on; its multiple months of interviewing with the producers every once in a while and knowing you’re under constant surveillance considering they install cameras to watch the employees while they’re considering if they should pick the bar for the show or another one they’re surveilling. So you just really never know when they’re watching or what’s gonna happen- we were told so in the beginning
The kind of guys to say “I know my right” over literally anyone arguing with them
That’s why they are unsuccessful, they are absolutely incapable of taking any kind of criticism or advice. It’s pure ego.
I love John Taffer!
“JON TAYYERFY” 😭😭
3:00-3:11 it's amazing how kind and patient Jon is to people who actually want to learn. He was stern but not mean.

Kala Bell i’m a screewriter and have been on set; a few of my instructors in film school worked on reality TV. having anyone on the production that threatens to assault anybody is a huge liability. jon might not consider the cameras when he considers how he rescues a bar, but he 100% has to consider the producers’ and AD’s standards when it comes to having a safe, legit production. if he’s still threatening people in recent productions, it’s most likely scripted or edited.

There's bugs all over Austin. All over America 😂😂 and then proceeds to say that Austin doesn't want a clean bar 😂😂😂😂
friends are friends but business is business
Roaches everywhere and he laughed!! Ever since this show first started the bars have gotten worse and worse. Thank u John for having this show and ruining bars for me forever just like Gordon ruined restaurants.
Not only that, but he NEVER pays his staff. The bartenders only make tips. He says "I pay with my love. After awhile I come to realize it's not all about money." I was pretty much thinking to myself "dude, LOVE isn't going to pay bills." And when there was an update, he STILL refused to pay his employees, even after they confronted him.
Avenue Teal the dude is a delusional psychopath. Half the crap that came out of his mouth made no sense at all. He claimed that Austin was full of roaches and that it was normal. I’ve been to a bunch of bars in my short life and not once have I seen a roach or mold coming out of the ceiling. These places that I’ve been to follow strict guidelines and measures to make sure that food isn’t contaminated and that no one is exposed to mold. Jon went to school for hospitality, business and architecture. He’s been doing this stuff for over thirty years and knows what he’s talking about. Also, how did he ruin bars for you, Laloni? There hasn’t been a bar open for months thanks to this fucking pandemic.
No it didn't they get better the manger makes them worse by not firing staff or changing it back to where it was xx
@ Laloni I've worked in many restaurants. Only one was even close to the ones in Kitchen Nightmares. It had recently been bought by the man I worked for. We spent any spare time cleaning and bringing it up to code.
If you are that worried, before you order go to the washroom. If it's clean the kitchen is probably also clean. Bonus if you can see into the kitchen on your way to the washroom. Look around the dining room (tops of picture frames, glass in picture frames, any decor, sneak a peek at the ceiling) and get a feel for the cleanliness of the room. There are always warning signs in bad restaurants.
