Same. When I took out a student loan for college, I felt terrible asking my grandmother if I could use her for collateral. I wound up paying the loan off years before I was suppose to because I didn’t want her to pay off my debt. I knew my grandmother would have paid the loan since it was for school but I couldn’t do that to her. The thought that a person could see nothing wrong with their grandparents being $650,000 in debt because they want to party every night is sickening.

Years later when my kids were in their 30’s, they confronted me about things they saw and I would never say anything about. I told them I wouldn’t bad mouth their dad. I love the way Jon helps people stand up for themselves, ESPECIALLY women who have hulking, cheating husbands. Those louts need an earful, and Jon gives it to them. Hopefully one day they'll listen. But most importantly, these ladies still have their dignity and hopefully in the end they come out of it all with something to be proud of, which is worth an applause.
