@@wolffirewalker9878 Professional rider with 30 total years experience here. That horse fell because the floor was completely inappropriate and not suitable for a horse to walk on without slipping. The poor thing behaved like a saint. It slid on the floor. Not to mention, even if it DID spook, why on earth would you bring a horse into a crowded tight indoor area? If it spooked, it could have destroyed property, and injured or killed someone or itself. Shame on the owner.
When the _General_ Manager says “I’m not in charge of the kitchen so I’m not responsible for it” that’s a pretty good indication that that person shouldn’t be in charge or responsible for A N Y T H I N G

I mean, nice, but he was doing something that would obviously be wrong/unsanitary. If it's not knowing how to cook a certain food in some way (or how to be faster), that's one thing, but I would believe ANY food worker, ESPECIALLY a cook should know not to just keep a rag around with their sweat and continue touching food without washing hands.
It’s irresponsible to hire him in the first place.
I felt absolutely awful for Aleah. She looked so embarrassed when Taffer sat them down. Bless her heart, she was trying her best to clean up after her parents. Very glad she got Taffer's help, at least!

@@ibangnails6449 Exactly, however the GM is directly responsible for the actions of anyone else in the establishment so it is the GMs fault. The Kitchen manager is only responsible for the kitchen. FOH managers are only responsible for FOH actions. GMs are responsible and in charge of the entire place.
The haunted bar is such a missed financial opportunity! Think of the events and drinks and food they could have there! It would be awesome.

My grandma was Irish and he told me that her ancestors celebrated it for thousands of years. Now that it’s evolved we should still hold that value. Allie H the bar owners call the show ahead of time, and after a while of scouting John shows up. They know that they can and will be recorded at all times with the cameras they set up.
Well It's the fact that he just bulldozes in there screaming right from the start. I'm not saying the owners don't deserve it, I'm saying when someone is being treated or talked to like that their defenses are going to go up, their fight or flight is going to be on. Especially in the beginning. Because I'm not going to lie, even if I called Jon for help, if he walks in and immediately starts screaming in my face, I'm gonna go off on him. It's not meant as disrespect to him, it's just how I handle sudden confrontation, I immediately get defensive until a couple minutes go by and I start to register everything.

Ed Cressy is in the top 3 most infuriating bar owners on this show next to Steve and Paul. His ignorant and nonchalant attitude throughout that episode was so hard to watch. Those employees made the right choice leaving him. I hope they're doing much better today.
I fucking love Jon's attitude with every single one of these people. He is a bona fide leader. Everyone would be lucky if they had a boss like this man. Every single person would benefit from his type of leadership and discipline.

Love the fact that the owner(?) stood up for the kitchen manager in the first clip. If he really was only there two weeks and had zero training on kitchen safety and prep then I think it's completely fair to give him a chance. Jon is really only mad at cooks/chefs that have experience or have been there for quite awhile. I'm sure he expects kitchen staff to learn more about their position and expectations over time whether they learn it by themselves or they're taught.

@@ConnorMiller417 I was just about to say that! It mainly only happens to race horses, because once it’s broken, it won’t operate the same way it did before. My papa was one of the best horse racer, trainer, and breeder in Montana, and was lucky non of his horses never broke a leg. Often times where will be people at the races who’ll want the hose if it’s broken it’s leg. You have to be there fast, because they’ll inject the stuff right on the track, right after if it happens.

I mean it is his fault, at the MINIMUM he should know how to keep his kitchen clean and sanitary, that is a basic requirement of being in the food industry. I do love how the owners took responsibilty for not making sure proper procedure was followed, but he isn't innocent. Mad respect to him for accepting it and not trying to blame others or make excuses, that shows me that he cares and wants to make it right, which is always good to see.

The owners and employees often feel offended and upset when Jon yells at them, but I think in most cases, that what it takes to break through their complacency and all too often, drunkenness.

"Ronald McDonald's cooking school" is called Hamburger University and it's actually a very highly touted program where you have to go if you want to be a general manager of a McDonald's or anything above that including an owner. It's so officially recognized for it's legitimacy and impact that you can receive college credits for completing it. So that last bar owner making fun of John for going to "Ronald McDonald's cooking school" just made himself sound like an even bigger idiot.

@@Soshi12005 it's not a cooking school, it's a business school. McDonald's is a multi billion dollar international corporation, and they want young talent indoctrinated into their system to work their way up the corporate ladder.
A GM of a McDonald's understands the supply chain and all of the intricacies of running a franchise, they aren't just some dummy that worked their way up and got the job because nobody else wanted it. They've been initiated into the gang.
Top talent (if they're not owners) can get promoted into corporate, and district managers make 6 figures.
If you think the entire McDonald's corporation is propped up by the half assed work of a bunch of flunkies and losers, you're not using your brain.

All my info is based on the McDonalds Hamburger Corporate University, are you saying they don’t provide bachelors in Hamburgerology, which are actually diplomas? Is it not a week long program where you learn middle management processes of McDonald’s, customer service and general restaurant management? Are it’s credit points not worth only certificates or associate bachelor degrees (otherwise known as an advanced diploma)? You’re saying if you want to work in corporate legal, finance or supply chains, you need graduate a Hamburger University? Are you saying other hospitality giants like KFC, Wendy’s or subway will value my Hamburgerology degree higher than proper Bachelor degrees? You’re saying an owner needs to graduate? What happens to owners to don’t live in country with the University like Spain, Germany, Hong Kong or Thailand; are those countries not allowed to own franchises? Funny, my old asian boss must’ve a genius to pass a University degree without speaking a shred of English. It’s almost like they’ll give you a franchise if you pay the money, sign the contract and don’t ask any questions.

No are you serious? I feel for the guy I really do but he has 2 weeks experience and has no business being a kitchen manager, he could kill someone. I'm sorry but the life of paying customers who put their trust in your business is more important than somebodies job. I would have tried to keep him on as a kitchen porter while he's training but he won't learn to manage a kitchen with a days training. I've worked in the catering industry and have years of management experience and the standards are no where even close to good enough, its a death sentence waiting to happen for someone, what if it was somebody you loved killed by him? Who would you blame and how will he feel when that happens? Because it will happen only a matter of time.

@@ww45818 in that case I totally agree if he had of been under my management (well to be honest he wouldn't have gotten into the kitchen as a cook in the first place but) I would have had him stay on as a porter or somewhere lower down to train from the bottom., I believe everyone I a kitchen should know what the others do and if you start at the bottom as you move up you not only know whats expected from who comes along after you so eventually when you reach the top you can do all other jobs I that kitchen
@@roisinmcguckin7479 that’s how I kinda got my job, started by washing dishes and cleaning floors, cooked for a bit, (partied too much) then joined the military, now I’m back in the field as a service tech. Some of the kitchen managers scare me to death, but most of them take care of their business.
