I like how Jon bails out of the car like a SWAT officer going to the biggest drug bust of his career, then calmly strolls into the bar at a leisurely pace.

I gotta give the military vet credit. He owned up to his shit. Sat there and took John's criticism and was honest. I hope he was able to turn it around.
It was pretty cool that you could see Jon respected what he did, how he was talking to him at first talking about his service how he was a hero.
Then when it came to him fucking up, Jon turned it up to 11. 😂
I would say 10 . 11 he would of been throwing and breakin' shit.
He did sell the bar a year after Jon Taffer helped him
Don’t know where the vet is now
@Galavant_Gaming He's probably back in the field overseas. Hope he stopped drinking tho as he would be discharged. Do hope he is better tho.
He was just used to being screamed at and could handle it. Most others are not.

One thing I admire about Americans. The respect you have for your veterans. I remember sitting next to a Soilder, just a little Aussie girl and asking him about his experience and every person that walked past said "Thankyou for your service" I still remember his handsome face! Who knows the amount of emotional trauma this man has gone through not only in the service of his own country but for humanity itself. I applaud his heroism but on the other hand he has to get a grip on his own situation to better equip himself for sustainability in not only his business but personal relationships and everyday life and I really hope he had that during and after the process of this rescue.

Tired of the Gordon Ramsay comparisons but “remember me... you’re wife” is this shows equivalent to “HI IM NINO”

The comparisons are because both are very good at what they do, and they have the skills and knowledge base to back up their words. I hate dealing with drunks, their actions are ridiculous.
same. super annoying.
@Bax 60 Being a bartender was one of the most fun jobs I've ever had, just the pay sucked. Thing I found with drunks is they're best avoided, so cutting them off before they became too wasted. Which I think is pretty much the law in the US and is here in the UK. We'd also get to know regulars who'd turn into mean drunks, so stopped serving them before that happened. Main thing was being firm and going from 'Haven't you had enough tonight?' to 'I think you've had enough', then 'No more' and finally they'd get barred if they were too much of a PITA. Worst thing though is owners who drink. I heard many stories of owners/landlords who started drinking, became alcoholics and lost their businesses. I guess it's like being a kid in a candy store, but more dangerous, and waaaay too easy to fall into the bottle.
@@brolohalflemming7042 Also a bartender in the UK and I completely agree. Mainly because I've seen too many people drunkenly walk out the bar and instantly fall to the curb. Better to avoid the confrontation by preventing it, saves so much trouble and aggressive standoffs

As someone who's worked at multiple bars/restaurants, alcoholism is actually an enormous issue in the industry. It rarely gets addressed properly and that's the reason why a lot of businesses go under and lives are ruined. Really sad to see.
@Yirlani and you‘re mad about that because?
@Yirlani I disagree. My opinion pertained to the inner workings of the restaurant industry. Obviously I‘d mention that I‘d worked in the industry because 1.) that‘s the reason I formed this opinion in the first place and 2.) it makes me sound a lot more credible than some rando who has nothing to do with restaurants. It‘s absolutely helpful to mention my qualifications, because then at least I don‘t get people asking "Oh yeah? How tf would you know?". You should be more concerned with people who make statements with no reference as to how they came to their conclusion.

BITCH I GOT SCARED
IT LOOKS SO CREEPY BUT FUNNY TOO-
Loved it..! 😈😁
@@titusmccarthyhat does politics have to do with bar management and dealing with drunkards?
"So can I get your guys emails?" 😆😅🤣😂
jon walking out of the car w the wwe style intro playing as he waltzes into the bar like gravedigger ready to lay on an intense verbal smackdown will never get old to me the sheer POWER
Jon: “You will come back here sober tomorrow and stay sober all week”
Desi: “ i have to do everything you just said?!?!?”
😂😂😂😂 me at work when someone asks me to do something basic that is totally within my job description
Then why they has to ask?
And then the staff's like "you can do it, you've been sober lots of times".
So is Desi alive?
@@sheg1969 there's no way
Dude comes in like a mafia boss. Standing behind them breaking their balls lol
Ashley Clark is one of my favorite people in the entire history of the show. She proved her worth and Jon took her in. Game recognizes game.
I heard that Ashley is doing well outside of this industry now but she ruined her chance as a bartender with the massive tattoo job on her. She had the skills to be an excellent bartender but anything more profitable than a dive bar won't hire someone with that kind of tattoo job, it turns off the higher class customer base. Bartenders in some of the higher class bars make $500 plus a night with tips, Ashley could have made a decent living without the tattoos. Jon Taffer tried to include her on some of his bar rescue projects as a trainer but he couldn't have her out with customers in the bar because of her highly unprofessional look.
"Can I get a ride home?"😂
No one:
Literally no one:
Bar owner: “I’m wasted”
17:06 is straight up powerful... you can tell Jon was about to cry for that poor wife.
That's why Jon is the best he knows the passion and love
17:07 you can hear Jon tearing up when he says a man failing his family. The toughest and most righteous ppl have most noble reasons for what they do. Most won't understand.
Travis is a legend.
A bartender with the cajones to cut off and kick out the owner deserves a raise.
