absolutely knocked out the park again as usual your work puts most to shame! your stock work is beyond most "pro" stock builders! everyone watching your work guys must be just squeezing there lips together and nodding there heads (I know I do) amazing work guys👍
I couldn't wait to see the finnished stock (I knew it would be really good ) but for goodness sake !!! It's a thing of beauty 😍 Proper craftsmanship, what a team 👌
Amazing transformation, with the upgrades and the comfort of the stock it must be a dream to shoot now👉🏻 Great team work guys with fantastic result 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Awesome video Awesome looking air gun wow you change the whole look of the air gun and its beautiful .... build like a tank with that kool blue look 💙 Awesome job 👏 thanks for sharing your work 💪 be safe buddy 👍
Just amazing craftsmanship looks and performs brilliantly.I love tru oil iv used it for years on walnut and beech.Cant wait for your next up load getting addictive lol.All the best kind regards.Tony
Words can't describe how brilliant that gun looks 👏 love the father and sun working and spending quality time together, wish mine was still around. I would love one of does stock's on my steyr hunting 5 it would look amazing Can't wait for the next video 👍 👍👍👍
I liked the original as it was but wow your dad and you have made one very special gun if it shoots as good as it looks what a gun. Keep them coming buddy all the best jon 👍
I'm a fan of the Katran, but didn't like the original stock so much. You've transformed it! And it looks like a viable compact bench rifle too. Another awesome production chaps!
Thanks Tony, The original stock is great for what its designed for, but a bit lacking on the bench, the new one however, very nice. Thanks for watching.
Nice video If only doing all those upgrades was permitted in my Country. But none the less, you inspire me to keep trying and wanting what's best on my air rifle 💯💯💯💥💥🤜🤛💪💪keep up the great work I'll be watching the videos 📹😂😂👍👍
Each to there own, I like the flat finish on wood but for the laminates, as they are already a bit outlandish I like them a bit shiny. Thanks for watching
Hi Geoff really enjoying your vids fella your one clever chap. I have the Katran L and was wondering if your getting occasional flyers too, played with the hammer spring a little but hasn't made any difference. Also wondering if you think your transfer port restrictor would work on the L same as your compact. Keep up the great work buddy
It would probably work with the L, flyers are present but I feel its more of pellet/ magazine issue rather than a rifle issue, we don't get tonnes of flyers rather 1-2 in 10 shots. Thanks for watching.
A Japanese Shinto rasp or a microplane are amazing tools that are perfect to removing a lot of wood give a reasonable finish requiring very little sanding
Goes without saying that it is a beautiful piece you guys have made, I just wanted to ask if you might recommend any books on making rifle stocks or are you self taught? Many thanks Pat
Hi thank you, this one is only the second one we have ever done so self taught, what i will say if your thinking of having a go do it, it's not as hard as you would think as long as you take your time 😀
@@sub12airgunners Thank you for the reply mate, I had a go once or twice before with a few old chisels and one of those hand held power file/belt grinder tools and thoroughly enjoyed it though it all went to hell when inletting the stock for the airgun action.. 😂 Over the years I've had a few different interests that warranted a small mill but I never committed to the decision until now. Upon hearing that lovely sound of your stock fitting to the rifle like a glove I must say you've definitely influenced my decision to commit to getting a mill and gaining skills through a hobby. Once again, thank you very much mate! 😁
@@PaddyFromPaddistan Nice one, a mill is a good tool to do many jobs and it does make a fantastic job of inletting a stock fitting pic rails all sorts 😀 go for it and enjoy
been waiting for this video . can you tell me where can I get 300mm air arms air tube from as I need new one as the one that came with the gun is only 200 mm the lane reg takes up half of the tube need 300 mm tube as 400 is to big . can you let me know please
Hi I've been looking forward to the finished rifle that looks amazing!- Q, would you make or do you know anybody that make and sells Air Rifle hand grips Left handed cannot seem to find one Palm shaped for an FX Dreamline?. Great Project Great Video thanks.
For the laminated wood do you make that yourself or buy it in? I've been looking for some to make my own stock with but unable to find anything of the size I need. Any help would be appreciated

I wonder how the safari stock would look like on this gun.
Interesting, I think it would quite suit this rifle, not seen another rifle with the safari stock other than the daystate. Thanks for watching

Your best bet is to contact Julian at Air arms spares, not sure if they make a 300mm one but I am sure he will know. Thanks for watching.
A standard s4/s5 series carbine cylinder is 300mm long.
I guess it's an early .22 tdr with the short cylinder?
Hi I've been looking forward to the finished rifle that looks amazing!- Q, would you make or do you know anybody that make and sells
