Airmaks Katran regulator rebuild

Got one here for you toady on the reg rebuild of an Airmaks Katran, the rifle has been sitting for a couple months now and the reg could use a service so in this one we take it out and rebuild it.

Nicely done video chaps. I'll have a go over mine shortly, it's super consistent but i really want to get the shot count up and tame some of the valve bounce down a bit.i'll happily sacrifice a little consistency for the other improvements

Hi there this is a very informative strip down , however I have a air leak on my compact Katran, which I have now identified as being at the valve end. You stat the largest 0 ring is 24 x 3 however on Air maks data site they list it as 25x3 also of NBR 80 type not 90 Which is correct? Many thanks

Intriguing question, why would the reg pressure increase if you sanded the washer...? Isn't it supposed to be decreasing considering you set the adjustment screw the same height... 🤔😅

I have a question to make about the reg insides if you can help me.what should be the difference of the id on the belleville washers and the od of the piston and what is the problem if the difference of these two are not normal?

The problem I'm having currently is my fps is low it was previously 900fps gun sat for 8 months pressurized can those spring washers get weak over time?

Hi sub 12. Could you show us your shroud set up and options please. That's the only niggle I have with mine how it has the step with some baffles in the end id prefer a one all the same diameter

Can I come and work for you, I have some expierirnce of gunsmithing I am a qualified mechanic and Locksmith, years ago I also worked as a telephone enkgineer, I have become disabled and would love to learn new skills, plus I am very bored doing jobs on my guns juat for something to do! You do great videos and I would love to meat you and ask you about 1000 questions a minute! I am 61 so no rap music unless you like it of coarse. Would love to chat on the phone if you have time especially about my new Katran which is ambivalent in its reliability and factory set up, however I love the thing.
