🌍 Hello World! My name is Ihor.
This is my channel where I share my experiences, ideas, reviews and tutorials related to Electronic Music Production. I focus mostly on Techno and House music. In my Studio on my Music Production Desk you will find a variety of different gear like: digital and analog synth, eurorack modular, drum machine, sampler, effect, mixer, guitar pedal, MIDI controller. Also software: DAW, Ableton, VST, plugins.
I am myself an engineer and I am quite obsessed with the Music Technology and Sound Design. I like making music without a computer. I like playing Electronic Music Live with my Minimal Dawless Setup. I love Eurorack Modular Techno and always keen to talk about the modular workflow.
I strongly believe that nothing can be better than a good Dawless Techno Jam!
I watched all the Techno Tutorials on UA-cam! (I think)
📺 Thanks for watching! And have fun!
✌️ Peace.

Great video, will have to try the MIDI loopback trick
It is a dope trick and it kinda unlocks some "hidden" features! Thanks for kicking in! ✌️
@@IhorMedia так не понял, что даёт этот midi loopback?
You make me smile all the time ! I really enjoy your videos ! Cheers,
Thank you so much for this ✌️I am glad you enjoy videos!
Love your videos man! As for a Digitakt-noob like me, this is so inspiring and educating
Hey Jack! Glad you find my video inspiring and educating! It means a lot to me. Thanks!
I enjoy your videos. Have to compliment you on the lighting and amazingly clean and beautiful environment. I'm entangled in cables and general mess :)
Hey Jakub! Thank you very much for your kind words! I clean this up right before filming! But usually it is a mess 😊

Love your channel! Do you ever record into a daw?
Thanks! Sometimes I do :)
Ihor another Gem although you say it’s easy I must confess I don’t fully understand it . To learn all the button presses that u do so instinctively seems so daunting to me , got to learn basics first when I get Digitakt
ACE 👍🆒🎶🎶🎶👌🇬🇧🌟
It all comes with practice, Martin. It really does. You train that muscle memory and then it works for your benefit.
Thanks for your kind words, mate! It means a lot to me! ✌️
@@IhorMedia oh I forgot to ask you if you can layer samples, factory sounds or audio in samples , mixing two sounds into one then sequence??? Just a thought
Thanks Ihor awaiting next demo👍🆒🎶👌
thx man!!
u stuff so awsome 🤯
Thanks! ✌️
Amazing thank you
My pleasure ✌️
I would love to see a video where you go in depth about how and why you eq and trim samples. Generally, I know it’s done for the purpose of creating space for all the different sonic elements, but beyond that I’m lost! That’s always been mysterious to me and I can see that you’re very good at it. I can see through your videos how important it is and how much of an impact it has on the overall sound of your tracks. I feel like this, along with song arrangement, are 2 secret weapons that separate a beginner from an advanced producer. Thanks for the videos. They’re such an inspiration!
This sounds like a good idea indeed. However such video is going to be extremely long haha.
Some trimming and EQ/Filter for size and color, some EQ and loudness for mixing. For each of the sound it would be different tho. eg kick drum I'd always overdrive a lot, clap must be short (because I like it like this), etc. I generally like when things (now technical term) SLAP! Short and loud haha.
Thanks for your kind words and comments. I appreciate you.
@@IhorMedia Awesome! Thanks for your reply. In a lot of ways it is subjective too. Everyone has to find what they like right? I know there's a lot of info out there about how to eq etc, so I'll figure it out! Thanks again man, cheers ✌
Awesome recommendation for 59 Perlen. Found some awesome videos already.
RE: MIDI Loopback - I thought the DT hated it this way and that's why Retrokits RK-002 came about? Have you had any crashes since doing this?
Thank you Marc for tuning in! ✌️
Regarding crashes - yes, I had one. But afaik it was when I pluggen the MIDI cable for loopback while DT was both sending and receiving the clock. This obviously leads to a system error. Rather than that I have not had any issues.
Not sure what Retrokits RK-002 particularly is for. But I technically don't see any issue with looping MIDI back just with normal MIDI cable. As long as DT does not receive its own clock.
@@IhorMedia great to know! Been wanting to try this but unsure if regular midi cable would work. So you disable clock send for this?
@@MrMarcLaflamme yes! I think when you create a new project on DT - the default settings for MIDI sync are the once that will work perfectly.
The rk-002 can add Euclidean pattern generation and polyphonic channel swapping, its way more than just a crash proof cable :)
🙏🙏🙏🙏
I love my digitakt aswell because I can build cool grooves in a fraction of time compared with building beats in ableton. After I build my drum loop in digitakt I record it in ableton... How do you handle the "issue" with the volumes? I find the clips very quite
It depends. It you are recording via Overbridge it is usually quite quiet! But there is nothing wrong with this. Just a matter of making the recording louder afterwards haha.
bit of a noob. does adding swing swing effect the the master or just individual track?
Swing is applied to all the tracks.
@@IhorMedia is there a way to add swing to just individual track?
