    Thank you for your FREE crochet tutorial. Smoke detector sound didn't bother me at all. I appreciate the FREE pattern and the time you took to show us. God Bless!

    I noticed someone complained about your smoke detector. I must honestly say that I was too interested in your instructions to even notice the chirping until I read the negative comment.🤣😄🤣 If and when sounds do bother me, I simply turn on closed captions and mute the sound. Anyway, your project is very pretty in green and absolutely beautiful in the white. To make a blanket with thread has definitely got to be a labor of love! I'm not sure I'd have patience enough to crochet with thread because it takes (me) way too long to crochet anything of great size; HOWEVER, these instructions can also be used with thicker yarn so I may try it. Thank you very much for the tutorial. 👍😊

    I bought thread and a regular needle, not realizing it's much finer. I've been trying to learn how to crochet with the thread while watching videos with yarn. I kept messing up. I'm going to follow your instructions. The piece you created is beautiful. It reminds me of the intricate pieces my family members did decades ago.

      It takes getting used to crocheting with crochet thread and tiny hooks, but don't give up. It will get easier the more you do it...and SO worth it.

    The problem with spending a thousand years making a blanket is when something happens to it you’ve lost all that time and effort, and you can’t just buy another one. I sure would like to take a nap with a blanket like that though. I bet it’s wickedly luxurious! 🤤

    I am back a year later and still have not used any of that thread! I am wondering if mercerized cotton is too stiff for say a blanket? Of course I do think your pattern could be used for a tablecloth.

    • @ffoenixrae7627
      @ffoenixrae7627 Рік тому

      I know this is late, but I hope you get it. Mercerized cotton gets softer with every wash. Blankets and bedspreads are amazing in it, and are admittedly a labor of love, but so very worth it.
