Fun! Thank you!!! 0:32 0:50
Totally gonna make this
@@mlem3913 Great question! My bookmark came out wonky too and wanted to curl, so I blocked it by pinning it and using a steamer. If you don't have a steamer, you can pin it in place, and gently spray the bookmark with water, and press it into the stitches. Wait until its dry, and your bookmark should be ready! You can find this blocking part at (8:52) of the video! :)
Thx so much
Just wanted to let you know that I turned your bookmark into a bracelet! Sooo danged cute! Thank you for making & sharing the video!!
You're so welcome Auntie Bagel (love your name by the way). So glad you were able to make something from this tutorial. :D
That's a great idea!
Fantastic idea! I may try that, too.
That a cool thing you did. I had the same thought too👍
ez
i started crocheting 3 days ago and have been learning the basics by making swatches and tiny magic circles-- i guess this is my first mini project and its so cute i love it
That's so exciting Gabby!! I can't wait to see how your bookmark turns out. :)
I also started 3 days ago! I want to learn as much as I can, but I know it takes time and practice! How is your journey going? It's been 4 months since you commented!
same
@@seren.nolasco How did your bookmark turn out
seeing this just when I started to learni crotchet 3days ago ...I hope I won't give up it needs patience
@@Simply_Jackie i started yesterday and DAMN its hard
I love how you don't lost time by talking about your life or saying useless things, you just go right to the explanations
Just found this video and can't wait to try it out! Have so many remnants that will make these in no time. I also very much appreciate your tutorial style and teaching methods. Thanks so much!
Aww thank you so much Alisha! I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial, and I hope you enjoy making your bookmarks.
Thank you, I have made about20 since my surgery, to give to everyone who has helped out. It's a great project because it is small, quick, and does not require a pattern. Cheers!
I started crocheting like 3 or 4 days ago and this was such an easy and fun mini project to start on! I’m definitely making so many of these and gifting them to my friends. Who knows, I might even turn them into bracelets!! Tysm for this tutorial it’s really helpful and I loved it even if I’m a beginner!
That's amazing Mel!! Welcome to the crochet community. I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial. I love your idea for turning these into bracelets - that'll look so cute! 🥰
I started in august, also making little bracelets! I'm glad more and more people are learning how to crochet
Thank you for this tutorial; clear and detailed instructions and lots of repetition without sounding exasperated 🙏🏻 while explaining (your voice is calming as well) I’ve been crocheting for a week or so and I really wanted to make this since I always have a book with me ❤️✨
Can’t tell you how refreshing it was to watch a video which SLOWLY explains and demonstrates every single stitch!! Looking forward to trying this pretty pattern ☺️
Aww thanks Brianna, I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial. I hope your bookmark turns out great. :)
Just finished my first bookmark, and I'm about to crochet more for my boyfriend and family. The tutorial is really easy to understand, thank you so much for your video and the work you put in all the patterns.❤
Aww thank you so much Mareike! I'm so happy you were able to make your first bookmark! I'm sure your boyfriend and your family are going to love anything you make for them. :)
I'm in love! Watched it once, and rushed to grab a yarn to try this and it turned out so cute! Now I need one of each color 🥰 thanks for this amazing tutorial!
I only just started crocheting and this is the first thing I've made! I already have several bookmarks and I plan to give them away as Christmas presents for all my bookish friends 😄
I made one lastly! I think this bookmark will make me happy whenever I read a book. Thanks for sharing a good project.
I used super fine yarn just to see how it would look and it's so cute!! ...now I just have to add the tassels and block it lol. This is an awesome tutorial!
Started trying this 50mins ago and made it completely without tassel in 50mins (started doing crochet from 5days only) thank you for such an easy tutorial 🤗🤗🤗
Even though I'm not advanced enough to make a bookmark, this video is the first one in which I could clearly see how to begin and how to make basic hand movements so thank you 😊
I started crocheting off and on about 3 months ago. I needed a hobby since my boyfriend was leaving for basic training with the military. Every time I write him a letter, I include something I've crotched. Mostly hearts and four leaf clovers, but I wanted to make something new for him. Your bookmark was the perfect thing I was looking for, and it came out pretty well! I'm sure he will love it just as much as I do!
I MADE MY FIRST PROJECT BY FOLLOWING THIS TUTORIAAAL! 🥰 THANK U SO MUCH
i started crocheting yesterday and this was my first project!! it turned out so cute and i love it
Thank you for your detailed tutorial and written pattern! I love how my first bookmark turned out. I plan on making one for everyone in my book club~they'll love them!
You're so welcome Kathy! I'm glad you enjoyed making your bookmark. I'm sure these will be a real hit with your book club.
Thank you for your video, I look forward to trying to make a bookmark. Your instructions are so easy to follow, and your video was so well done to allow us to see exactly what you were doing. I hope you make more easy to follow videos!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial, and I hope you have fun making your bookmark. :)
I have just made the book-mark with you. My grand daughter loves it. Thank you ❤
Well I tried this one was easy to follow your tutorial. Much appreciated really. I now own a beautiful bookmark, I don't have to fold pages anymore...lol. I just started crocheting the basics circles and a few patterns, but this was my first real accomplished project, and I'm proud. Thanks so much
That's amazing Ilham!! Congratulations on completing another project. I'm so glad you were able to make your bookmark, and can put it to good use!!
Thank you sharing this video! I made pacifier chains for my youngest granddaughter, and her mom liked it, and my mom too! Very easy making and nice pattern!
Omg !!! Such an adorable pattern !! Thank you for the detailed tutorial !! It’s the perfect way to use up leftovers and it makes a cute gift
Thank you so much PNUT!! Also, I can't find your second comment anymore, but yes you are correct. Don't chain 1 at the beginning of Row 2, just make the first single crochet straight away.
Thank you for giving us your time to teach us this cute bookmark. I'm so excited I made it.
Aww you're so welcome Celia! I hope you enjoy making your bookmark. 🥰
hey, i checked out the slower version (as someone who isn't a total beginner and has been crocheting for a couple weeks), and immediately went to this video. i'm so glad u have 2, otherwise i would've wasted a lot of time skipping through the parts i already knew how to do.
I'm an absolute noob at crochet but this was certainly very friendly to beginners, thanks so much! Love my bookmarks 😊
This is the first time I ever touched a crochet hook and I only had to start over twice😃 thanks for the tutorial, it was super straightforward even for a complete beginner like myself!
I just picked up crocheting and this is my first ever project! This was very easy to make and i enjoying making it and the results too!! Thank you!!!
You're so welcome Titi!! So glad you enjoyed the tutorial and making your first ever crochet project. :)
Did my first practice bookmark tonight! It turned out okay. I misread the 6 loops on the first stitch so it really only has 5 and looks a little wonky lol, but it's still pretty and you explained everything very simply. Thank you for this! My friends are about to be handed random bookmarks now lol!
The stitch itself only took me about 45mins to do and I'm still very much a beginner, so it's nice to know that it really is as simple as it looks.
Hi Hannah! Congratulations on finishing your practice bookmark. When I first learned this stitch, I really struggled with it, so I think that the most important thing is getting the hang of where to place your hook. I hope your next bookmarks turn out better, and now you'll never forget to have 6 loops on your hook. I'm sure your friends are going to love them haha. :)
I just love my bookmarks and making them! I give them away as (Supprise) gifts and seeing their faces! It's awesome! Thank you so much for sharing this pattern, it's great!
You're so welcome Debbie!! That's so sweet of you. It's so fun to watch people's faces as they open their gift. :)
I have just made the bookmark with you. Given it to my grand daughter. She loves it ❤. Thank you. I have saved most of the patterns.
Aww that is so awesome to hear! 🥰
Thank you very much for this video. I made it successfully by following your tutorial. It's a great present. Again, thank you very much and I wish you good health. God Bless you!
You're so welcome Ushio! I'm so glad you were able to follow along and make a bookmark. I hope you have a wonderful day. :)
I am new to Crochet. I started with the basic stitch then decided to follow your tutorial. Many attempts later and rewinding your video I have finally completed my first bookmark. Thanks for a great tutorial x ❤️
Aww you’re so welcome Jayne! Happy you stuck with it and made your first bookmark. ❤️❤️
Keep going, your doing well. Don't thing I was as advanced at your stage. Looking forward to trying this lovely stitch.
Thank you for the tutorial, I wanted a purse strap and I had put a border around the purse with this stitch, but wasn’t sure about how I would do the strap, using this stitch for your book mark, just making it longer, was perfect.
I’ve crocheted this star stitch to make hats so it was very easy for me to understand. Thank you very much for your tutorial
Thank you for this tutorial! These are so pretty, I've made 3 today and am making them for my family :) I also might make one into a bracelet !!
This is such a wonderful pattern!! Such a gorgeous stitch and it was so easy to do! Thank you for putting this together!
I can not wait to make a ton of these for random gifts!!! Yours turned out absolutely lovely. Thank you for sharing

I'm so excited to try this, your introductions are so clear & easy to follow! Thank you for this tutorial!
Aww thank you so much Erin! I hope you enjoy making your bookmark. ❤️
I made this bookmark with acrylic yarn & a 3.75 mm hook. It turned out very cute & dainty. Your video tutorial also helped in R1 & for making the tassel. I had a lot of fun making it. Thanks for sharing !
That's amazing Anuradha!! I'm so happy your bookmark turned out well. :)

Thank you!!! I just finish my 1st bookmark! Thank you so much♥️
I'm making this as a present for my friend, they are definitely going to love this! This is also the only tutorial where i understood the star stitch. All of the others were so confusing!
I'm completely new to crochet and cannot wait to start this as my first project!
I'm honoured that you chose this to be your first project. I hope it went great.
