    This has got to be the best tutorial I have ever watched. No annoying background music, no unnecessary talking as it's all relative for the instruction. Kept having to replay bits (🤣) as I'm not working on a full tank, so to speak (I've got Covid) and wanted a change from reading. This is something I can pick up and put down. Jonna, you are an exceptional teacher! Well done. I have subscribed.

    I find that slowing down the playback speed by half is really helpful when learning a new pattern in crochet.

    ❤🎉Finally, someone's explained this shell ' in the round' in a comprehensive and simple way ! Thank you so much , I am a self-taught "hooker" lol, so I've had to rely on the internet completely for patterns and stitches since I've been diagnosed with a brain tumor and am for the most part bed ridden , crocheting has been a source of relief and self confidence to me ! I have been able to invent quite a few , but this one has eluded me for what seems like an eternity. So again, thank you ,and God bless ! Keep up the incredible videos. Perhaps I can learn some more new stitches 🎉

I've made one of these before a few yrs ago which turned out amazing & started another one today using Red Heart Super Saver Ombre in colorway Anemoine which are shades of dark through light burgundys. OMG I'm so excited to see the transformation of the colors as it's going to be OUTSTANDING. Thank you hon so much for your great tutorials as I'm a huge follower of yours...………..

    I love this! It's versatile enough that I don't get bored doing the same stitches, but simple enough that I don't have to focus too hard. I was able to watch shows while crocheting this after a few rounds. This would be perfect for an afghan or baby blanket!

    I love the pattern. I made a blanket for my sister for Christmas using Red Heart Super Saver "Artist Print." I would just like to say how much I appreciate your talent and excellent video. Not everyone can accomplish these 2 demanding tasks so skillfully!
    Just one note for those, like me, who may not be 'experts' at crocheting. Please! Be very careful to pay attention to your corners, even before they come up on you. Be sure to also mark them with a stitch holder. I had a few gaffes as the project grew in size, had to rip out a row and fix my mistake. That's a lot of work as you move along. That's not a negative comment at all! Just trying to help others avoid my problem!
    Thank you SO much. Best wishes in all of your endeavors.

Right now I am making the round poncho with Caron Latte Cakes in the colour way Rose Scented. I can't wait to see the finished product and then start the two-point poncho. There is not enough time to make all the ideas that come into my head. I am truly crochet-obsessed!

I made a few mistakes (miscounted stitches for a few shells) that I didn't notice until it was too late to unravel and go back to fix them, but by and large, I think it was a success. So we'll explained. Thank you so much for sharing.....I have started my project. I am using cotton thread, multi color yarn with baby soft shades. I think I will make it into a table cloth center. I can use a plain color table cloth to cover dining table as a base. Then just place this over in the center. 😀❣️

    I was silly enough to attempt this pattern with a fuzzy, bulky baby yarn rather than trying it out on something thinner and smoother and it was to my great frustration that it took me a couple tries to get. But that was entirely on me, not this video. These were very well spoken instructions and once i got the hang of it the pattern looked adorable!!! This is a very sweet design. So glad i found this. Excited to try it out with an easier yarn haha

    Is there a way to stop when it becomes a square and just make a whole bunch of granny squares and then stitch them together instead of one giant blanket?

    • @JonnaMartinezCrochet
      @JonnaMartinezCrochet  7 років тому

      +Skyler Hawkins yes. I would make as many squares I needed. then add a straight edge.
      Then see them or crochet them together.
