Thank you for the video. I was watching a different tutorial and they had the hook facing down. I find it much easier to have the hook facing up. Also your method for starting the slip knot is much easier as well.
Aftee watching several videos, this one was the one where i finally grasped slipknot and chaining. Only problem is my chain looks wonky, but im very glad ypu mentioned that its perfectly normal for beginners, because i would have most likely given up when i didnt see the V's. My question is can you single crochet through an entire project? & how would the end result look? I'm wanting to make a baby blanket & would rather it not have any gaps in it. Thank you so much ☺
You can indeed, however it will take a long time and give a more tougher finish, but the effects can look great! If you do want a bit of drape but no holes, then maybe up your hook size a little as that can help.
