Yes😂 The very first album I bought was Ricky Nelson I don't remember what songs were on it, even though I listened to it all of the time. There was a handsome portrait on the cover. Ricky with those beautiful blue eyes. So good looking. I knew he was married to Kristen. I loved her too. I wonder how many people watched the movie, Love and Kisses. It was a sweet story about Ricky and Kristen and their getting married when they were very young. Crazy kids, but they knew they were in love 🥰💕❤️🌹🥀🎶🎤🎼🎹🎸🎸🎸🎸🎤🎤🎼🎼🥁

You should see and hear their own songs from the late 80's and early 90's on UA-cam like "Can't Live Without Your Love". They are incredibly talented musicians and blend perfectly together. I'm glad they do shows remembering their dad, but I love the music they wrote and performed in the 80's and 90's. IMO they don't give enough credit to themselves for their own music.

I was born on Rick Nelson's birthday in 1975. As a HUGE Rick fan, my mother was thrilled. Then when I started listening to his sons' music many years later, she'd watch me fawn over these two and laugh. I'll never forget what she said to me, "It's come full circle." :)
I attended one of their concerts here close to home. They told stories about their Dad and sang a lot of his songs. These guys are for real. Very personable and they have a lot of fun on stage, which gets the crowd going. A real nice evening.

When I was ten I stood in Ricky Nelson's parking space and then my heart skipped a beat. Coming towards us was David Nelson. He was so Good Looking and came over and said hello to an excited group of pre teens . I am so proud that the twins have brought Ricky Nelsons magic back for all to enjoy. Thank You.

I saw them last year with my mom in Shipshewana, Indiana. They gave a tribute concert in memory of their father, Ricky. It was wonderful seeing slides and pictures of Ricky in the background, while they sang. They sound alot like their father. Mom and I had a good time going down memory lane. She and I both had crushes on Ricky in the old day. Mom always loved the song, Hello Mary Lou. We used to watch the Ozzie and Harriet show as a family. My mom, sisters, and I loved to watch Ricky sing at the end of the show.

So good to hear Ric Nelson's boys singing his songs. My friends and I were always so crazy about their Dad and I hope they have the copyright to these songs. I heard his Dad's voice on a TV commercial and in a few days it was the same song with a girl singing the lyrics. I wasn't pleased to hear his voice used with no credit and I'm hoping it was his family that stopped it. Ric's voice was always one of a kind.
Went to The Nelsons concert in Lake Tahoe in the summer of 2007 with my then boyfriend now my husband on our first date. A big fan of Ricky Nelson loved the legacy his kids carried on!

I just listened to my favorite Rocly Nelson songs and then I found this Gunnar and Mththew clip. They sound just like him. If I close my eyes I can almost hear the late great Rickywhom I still adore after all these decades.

I had the pleasure if meeting Gunnar and Matthew when they performed their tribute concert here in Oneonta NY . What personable and down to earth young men. The tribute was wonderful. Oh, this is just a tickle. I was aware of Ricky Nelson, and that he was Ozzie Nelson's son. I'm an Old Fart, and dimly recall the Ozzie and Harriet TV show, about a dad, mom, and their teenage sons, Ricky and David. I'm interested in pop music history, and it was only recently I learned that before having a TV show, Ozzie was a swing band leader in the 40's, along with people like Glenn Miller, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, and Benny Goodman, and that Harriet had been his singer. He wound up the band, married Harriet, and they produced kids. (My dad loved Big Band swing and played sax, so grewI up on a musical diet of Big Band swing courtesy of my dad and classical musing courtesy of my mom. I still love both.) TIL that Ricky had twin sons who followed in their dad's footsteps and are really good. There's another video on UA-cam of Matthew and Gunnar in the studio cutting tracks with James Burton, with Gunnar doing tasty drumming and Matthew playing acoustic guitar and nice electric bass, and Gunnar saying "I'm here in the studio with _James Burton_ playing lead guitar!" He clearly understood just what that meant. Burton was delighted. He thought they were great kids as well as good musicians, and he was happy to be passing the torch and helping a new generation of Nelsons take the next step. They told him stories about Ricky as their dad, and he told them stories about being on tour with Ricky as his guitarist. This is how the torch gets passed. Matthew and Gunnar singing and playing acoustic guitars immediately put me in mind of the Everly Brothers, who were from another musical family. (The Everly's Roots LP has been on my top ten list since it came out). Now I get to find out what else Metthew and Gunman have done. I agree with the other comments = their father _and_ their grandfather would be proud of them. Tjhere's an enormous amount of absolute shite posted to UA-cam, but discovering stuff like this makes it worth visiting.

When their dad ( Rick Nelson ) was still around, he lived up the street from me in the Hollywood Hills overlooking the San Fernando Valley. Me and my brothers talked to him once and we told of tales of wild parties that used to happen at his place when legendary actor Earl Flynn lived there.

I had the pleasure if meeting Gunnar and Matthew when they performed their tribute concert here in Oneonta NY . What personable and down to earth young men. The tribute was wonderful. There Dad is looking down with a big smile and being so proud of his two sons , I grew up watching the Nelson’s on tv, RIP Ricky & David, one of my favorite movies to watch is Ricky Nelson, Dean Martin, John Wayne, Walter Brennon. Oh, this is just a tickle. I was aware of Ricky Nelson, and that he was Ozzie Nelson's son. I'm an Old Fart, and dimly recall the Ozzie and Harriet TV show, about a dad, mom, and their teenage sons, Ricky and David. I'm interested in pop music history, and it was only recently I learned that before having a TV show, Ozzie was a swing band leader in the 40's, along with people like Glenn Miller, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, and Benny Goodman, and that Harriet had been his singer. He wound up the band, married Harriet, and they produced kids. (My dad loved Big Band swing and played sax, so grewI up on a musical diet of Big Band swing courtesy of my dad and classical musing courtesy of my mom. I still love both.)
TIL that Ricky had twin sons who followed in their dad's footsteps and are really good. There's another video on UA-cam of Matthew and Gunnar in the studio cutting tracks with James Burton, with Gunnar doing tasty drumming and Matthew playing acoustic guitar and nice electric bass, and Gunnar saying "I'm here in the studio with _James Burton_ playing lead guitar!" He clearly understood just what that meant.
Burton was delighted. He thought they were great kids as well as good musicians, and he was happy to be passing the torch and helping a new generation of Nelsons take the next step. They told him stories about Ricky as their dad, and he told them stories about being on tour with Ricky as his guitarist. This is how the torch gets passed.
Matthew and Gunnar singing and playing acoustic guitars immediately put me in mind of the Everly Brothers, who were from another musical family. (The Everly's Roots LP has been on my top ten list since it came out). Now I get to find out what else Metthew and Gunman have done. I agree with the other comments = their father _and_ their grandfather would be proud of them.
Tjhere's an enormous amount of absolute shite posted to UA-cam, but discovering stuff like this makes it worth visiting.
