So happy to have run across this site...grew up listening to Ricky Nelson's music and watching the Ozzie and Harriet Nelson show when it was on years ago.
Where are these boys now. I was growing up in the 50’s and 60’s. Love to hear this music. It takes me back to an innocent time. I loved and still do, Rick’s music. So glad they are keeping it alive.
The brothers Matthew and Gunnar released several soft rock albums in the early 90's. If I remember correctly, their biggest 'hit' was I Can't Live Without Your Love And Affection from the album Because We Can
These brothers are absolutely great in all aspects of the word... Carrying on their father's legacy and keeping high morals and standards as they do and have done in their lives. Extremely talented young men with good heads on their shoulders!!! Keep on keepin' on Matthew and Gunnar!!!

Yes😂 The very first album I bought was Ricky Nelson I don't remember what songs were on it, even though I listened to it all of the time. There was a handsome portrait on the cover. Ricky with those beautiful blue eyes. So good looking. I knew he was married to Kristen. I loved her too. I wonder how many people watched the movie, Love and Kisses. It was a sweet story about Ricky and Kristen and their getting married when they were very young. Crazy kids, but they knew they were in love 🥰💕❤️🌹🥀🎶🎤🎼🎹🎸🎸🎸🎸🎤🎤🎼🎼🥁
When I was ten I stood in Ricky Nelson's parking space and then my heart skipped a beat. Coming towards us was David Nelson. He was so Good Looking and came over and said hello to an excited group of pre teens . I am so proud that the twins have brought Ricky Nelsons magic back for all to enjoy. Thank You.
It's spooky how the boys do their Dad, no mistake. Dad is still with them. Back door influencing them. No ghosts. Simply love. Spirits come with the heart still.
Your concert I went to was one that brought great memories for me. Mathew and Gunner-you did a great performance.will go and see another concert when you are in Indiana.your DAD would be so proud of you both.
You should see and hear their own songs from the late 80's and early 90's on UA-cam like "Can't Live Without Your Love". They are incredibly talented musicians and blend perfectly together. I'm glad they do shows remembering their dad, but I love the music they wrote and performed in the 80's and 90's. IMO they don't give enough credit to themselves for their own music.
Everything I hear harmonies sung by family members it sounds so pure and wonderful. I wad listening to the Bee Gees not long ago and had this Ah-Ha moment! Well done boys! Keep bringing us your music please!
I love these two so much. What a credit to their father they are. I love how they keep his music alive and do their own thing, too, laying down an awesome legacy for themselves and the Nelson family.
They actually sound NOTHING like Rick. Singing his songs doesn't mean they sound like him. I go waaay back with the Nelsons, first on radio and later, on TV. Rick was rarely happy; he was actually quite shy. Just look at his facial expressions while performing. His wife wanted him to quit music and stick only with acting ...all the while living so extravagantly that it was impossible for Rick to quit touring. These kids, like the late Natalie Cole and her uncle Freddy Cole (also deceased) sicken me with the way they cashed in on Rick Nelson's and Nat King Cole's amazing vocals and piano playing.
Not only would Ricky been proud of you guys...but the driving force behind your dad's career - your grandfather Ozzie, would be proud of his families musical legacy...excellent job guys....all the best...a long time fan of your father. ^/^
So good to hear Ric Nelson's boys singing his songs. My friends and I were always so crazy about their Dad and I hope they have the copyright to these songs. I heard his Dad's voice on a TV commercial and in a few days it was the same song with a girl singing the lyrics. I wasn't pleased to hear his voice used with no credit and I'm hoping it was his family that stopped it. Ric's voice was always one of a kind.

I attended one of their concerts here close to home. They told stories about their Dad and sang a lot of his songs. These guys are for real. Very personable and they have a lot of fun on stage, which gets the crowd going. A real nice evening.
I met these guys at a photography studio next door many years ago. They were about as down home as you can get. Glad to see them working so well together. Twins have special lives.
I saw them last year with my mom in Shipshewana, Indiana. They gave a tribute concert in memory of their father, Ricky. It was wonderful seeing slides and pictures of Ricky in the background, while they sang. They sound alot like their father. Mom and I had a good time going down memory lane. She and I both had crushes on Ricky in the old day. Mom always loved the song, Hello Mary Lou. We used to watch the Ozzie and Harriet show as a family. My mom, sisters, and I loved to watch Ricky sing at the end of the show.
When their dad ( Rick Nelson ) was still around, he lived up the street from me in the Hollywood Hills overlooking the San Fernando Valley. Me and my brothers talked to him once and we told of tales of wild parties that used to happen at his place when legendary actor Earl Flynn lived there. “I have no intention of doing anything like that...” He remarked. And he didn’t-he was one of our more ‘quieter’ neighbors...

Went to The Nelsons concert in Lake Tahoe in the summer of 2007 with my then boyfriend now my husband on our first date. A big fan of Ricky Nelson loved the legacy his kids carried on!
Don't know when these boys were recording, but they are both VERY good singers. And darn good looking. I can see their dad in both of them. Why haven't they been heard more of and their music?

Darrell Turner hard to find a guitarist as good as James Burton. His iconic lead in Hello Mary Lou is legendary.
