Newbie question. I just bought some 7g metals. Major craft ones come with an assist at the top and small treble on the bottom. Cheaper 7g lures come with just an assist at the top. What is your recommendation on hook set up on 7g metals? Excellent video by the way 🎣
Thanks Steve. You'll find that most of the hook ups come on the assist hook so both will work. For fish like Garfish and sandeels the trebles help. But if you fish them flicking up and letting them drop you'll catch on both.
Another cracking session, congratulations on number 57. Topped off by the beautiful Dolphins ❤
Thanks Alan. Only three to go 🤞🏻
Love days like this. Funny how it can suddenly switch on and off sometimes. Nice spread of species too!
Thanks. It's that time of year I guess. Once those tiny Herring show up the coast goes crazy for a couple of weeks
Brilliant video as always mate. Conditions looked perfect
Thanks Andrew. It was perfect. Not a breath of wind. Hasn't been that nice all summer
Great fishing that ❤
Thanks Mark. Great morning.
Brilliant! 👍
Cheers Steve
I dream of sessions like this.
They'll be about for a while. Was great fun.
Great stuff Dan, congratulations on getting the Scad and is there any more fun than catching Mackerel on light gear 🎣
Thanks Steve. Saves having to spend a day in Plymouth waiting for dark haha. Great morning though
