Great sesh! Love catching Macks on a small metal - they're my favorite - then Bass and Bream. Looked like a huge fish was on with your first bass - light gear rocks - so much fun!
It's the best way to catch then for sure. I've always said if you fish light enough any fish puts up a good fight. Think I got that from fishing a 2wt fly rod growing up
Nice video. We went their couple of weeks ago in the evening on the flood with standard bass luring set ups SGS2 10-40 rods fishing SG seekers. Water was like chocolate and didnt get a sniff. What set up you using there, would love to scale down and get a gurnard.
Budleigh is all or nothing I've found. I had been down three times in two weeks before this session and blanked. But the stars aligned on this morning and couldn't miss. Was hard work getting the lure to the bottom for the Gurnard. You'll get them on Seekers too though if you fish them across the bottom and nice and slow
Gorgeous aren't they. Message the guys on The Big Lerf on Facebook. They have a starter kit that might suit you. I've never used it but good value. @Devon_lerfer is the guy for advice.
Me and my friends are fishing here this bank holiday weekend for the whole weekend have you got any tips? We are from norfolk and have never fished down south before
Fish small is the best advice I can give. Budleigh isn't the best for bait fishing. So if you're chucking out half s mackerel or large baits you'll struggling. I've only ever done well there using size 6 hooks with a single worm or strip of squid. Haven't bait fished there for years but small lures bounced along the bottom always produces.
@@LRFandHRFya we are bringing some baits with us hopefully we get something on baits. Budleigh beach and branscombe beach are the only beaches we have on our list currently to go for this weekend. But thanks for the advice

Tubs are one of my favorite fish, such amazing colours and great fun to catch. Congratulations 👏👏
What's your next target going to be 🤔🤔
They're beautiful fish aren't they. I want to tick off grayling next. Before autumn and the rivers get too full.
Thanks for another great video! And congrats on number 51! What was the tide doing that morning?
Youre welcome. And thanks. It was high tide at 6am so fished it down pretty much.
@@LRFandHRF Thanks for the extra info that's really helpful!
You're welcome

Lovely fish. Could you recommend a good budget LRF rod and feel for me?

@@LRFandHRF nice one! I'll check out the link, thanks!
No worries
Nice on mate what was the temu lure?

Depends on your gear and what you want to catch. Obviously spinning and Plugs work, you have the estuary for Mullet Bass & Trout. Good luck
