Nice one Brad. That shark did not want to give up. If you guys are carrying magic thread, make sure to sell the spawn net too. It always works well to wrap around ghost or grass shrimp, then tye it down with the thread. We used to use it on sturgeon rigs out in California Delta.
I was at Ft. Pickens recently and hooked what I initially thought was a blacktip. It fought much harder and longer than the blacktips I have caught before and it almost spooled me. It was only 5 feet long but thick around the middle. It had all the markings of a blacktip but the snout was thinner at the end. Looking back at pictures ,it looked like what you caught. A person on the beach ID'd the shark as a sandbar shark. I would love to hear if anyone else thinks it may be a sandbar. Brad mentions several times he thought the shark would be much bigger than it was. I thought the same thing when fighting this shark.
2:41 It looks like only 2 guys fishing and about 6 poles along the beach. In my state, anglers are only allowed 2 poles each. Maybe there weren't 6 poles, but it was definitely more than 2 each (5?). Brad mentioned 3 different setups he has out. What kind of fishing license allows for more than 2 poles per angler??? I'm very curious. Thanks!!!
Great job, I’m hoping to catch me one that size. Too busy with work preparing for inventory, I’m off Monday hopefully then. Keep up the great work, enjoy watching your videos.
I hear both side. Some people have lose drags. Some have normal drags. I don’t think either is right or wrong but I prefer a drag that is set up normally so the circle hook actually sets. Curious to know why you do it loose. Seems like you’d lose a lot of fish this way
love your videos man, i wanna learn and start beach fishing but what beaches are good near central florida? preferably on the east coast but west i may be able to work with
I got a bearded brad and a beach bum pomp rig! So what is the toothpick for? Must be something I don’t know about. I’m still kinda new to beach fishing.
could you please share what that dehooker you use is? unhooking sharks has always been the biggest pain in the ass for me, its never been easy even with the long dehookers.
How's the Spanish & king action this year? Gonna get down there here soon. Thought about going to navarre, heard a guy got a sail off the pier recently.
Crappie fishing bluegill and if I have a chance I'll probably do some carp fishing the shad run the mower run the macro run time to put the pole away fill up my cooler with bullet and macro if you have time it's the bull riding run 100 ft of water it'll be ready surrounding the bull you find the sand trout find The wider King whiting's always my favorite

Laugh my ass off dude the reason the fish wasn't slowing down is because you had your drag set UA-cam setting.. literally a 2-pound bluegill could strip all your line off and you say it's not slowing down lol. Do you even stop to think we your subscribers viewers are allso fisherman...I watched you turn that drag 2 complete turns them back it off a turn. Lol. When I set my frag I adjust it by 1/4 turns not 2 and 3 rotations.. but I love your channel just the same it's entertaining and I will keep watching and giving a thumbs up. I love the way seasoned fishermen will almost always step up tp help someone with a hard catch. We're all brothers on the beach.

That dehooking tool looks suspiciously like a water meter valve tool. Nice catch, great video!

Great ca5ch👍👍
Just curious... whats the minimum amount of line that you'd want to have on a reel for sharks?
500 yards
Awesome catch geng👍

What size braid and how big of a reel would I need for shark fishing? As far as line capacity.
that was alot of work..but fun! kudoz..

Nice dude great catch 👍
What size reel and line do you use?
Catch and cook!!!!!! Missed

One day! It’s a lot of work to bring a shark that big back to the truck!
I got a bearded brad and a beach bum pomp rig! So what is the toothpick for? Must be something I don’t know about. I’m still kinda new to beach fishing.
Pick you teeth after you eat the pompano you catch
You can use it to peg the float so it doesn’t slide up and down the line. Just push it in the top hole of the float then snap it off so it’s flush
What sharks are legal out there to keep and which ones are good for eating
The municipality wants their dehooking tool back 😅
😂
I seen you at the pier yesterday
Sharkeys machine!
I love golf shores
What is the fish called you used for bait the silver one
Whiting
Where do you buy that dehooker
Hey Brad what lb test braid were you running? Nice catch brother 👌
what rod was that that the shark at the whiting head on
Awesome video
what reel is that
Hey brad I know y’all got the fresh dead shrimp, and I know y’all know tony with fish gum how about stocking the op shrimp soak
could you please share what that dehooker you use is? unhooking sharks has always been the biggest pain in the ass for me, its never been easy even with the long dehookers.
It’s just a water key
@BeardedBrad92 does it work with circle hooks

Spanish bite has been good. Kings haven’t been as hot this year
They have been using that Magic Thread in the U.K. for years. I don’t know why we are just now discovering it?
Aloha. Used to use it in the early 90’s for ghost shrimp in the Bay Area, so its been around.

How is that al13 reel doing?
So far it’s been awesome
should i always try to find l8ve shrimp for pomp. or just go with dead?
Curious, how much drag does that reel have?
Biggest black tip I have seen! Nice job!
Shark leader link is gone, can you re post it?
Ain’t even seen the whole video yet, but would really like to know if magic thread would work on chicken livers for catfish up here in Adamsville USA😂
Was that a water key you used to dehook?
They work well on really big fish.
Try a reel called a bait feeder reel this reel is really good for ocean fishing
Its a Shark...you're welcome
No way really how else would I know what it is thank you so much
Thank you
Bearded Brad looking slim in the side angles.
What 13 fishing spinning reel is that
AL6.0
Finetooth Shark 🦈
