Oh my heart. That deco coffee set is insane and I think I’ve blown my retinas. 😜😜 Wait… what? Look at all the beautiful pieces! I think my retinas will never be the same after this haul. Wonderful, congratulations!

My grandma loved Art Deco. In her house everything had lines, edges and those colors!!! Very masculine design if you ask me. But I love it because it reminds me of her!!!
Oh, the radios! Grandad made a special shelf for Gram's kitchen radio so it was up over her yellow cracked ice kitchen table where she could mix up her magic while listening. She was a baker and the cakes and cookies!!!!!! Her specialty was New York cheesecake but she did wedding cakes too. My fav is the German coffee set. Thanks for sharing, be well🧓💚💚💚☘️☘️

When I was young and television was live and not taped there was a commercial for coffee and they had a clear glass coffee cup like yours. They poured hot coffee into the cup and on live TV the cup broke and you saw all little pieces of hot coffee in all the little broken pieces of the glass cup. It took them a while to switch off of that scene and it was amazing to see for a while. I miss those live TV days. You never knew what was going to happen. Thanks for your video. I enjoyed it as I usually do.
Everything as usual was wonderful. I remember a beautiful large black cat in my Grandmother's house. I could look but not touch. So I would just sit by it and look. I loved it.🤗
The green coffee set is stunning!!! I can't imagine finding something like that in a cardboard box.
The “Head With Hand” is my absolute favorite. I fell for it when you first purchased it, and I still feel the same about it. And, I think that it looks best in the charcoal color. What a find.

I don’t even remember breathing watching this. I went into Art Deco universe . I like it there !😃 I could not pick a favorite as it was all so perfect. I will say I’m in love with the black radio. What a showpiece! ♥️🐩

Art-Deco really is a beautiful style isn't it? Those are some lovely pieces. I especially love the Art-Deco set of dishes. I mean look at those zigzag lightning bolt handles! Just gorgeous! And that color, you can't really beat that color, so iconic of the Art-Deco movement and era! What a find! That sculpture of the woman is also very, very nice!

What did I like? My dad was in radio and TV business. Every time you show one of those, I know he would have been so excited to see it.

That tea set was absolutely my favourite with the mixer with jadeite bowl a close second.
Anchor Hocking Glass Manhattan pattern was one of my first vintage clear glass. I realized when I found it in storage it has flea bites. Since then I have found the pattern on eBay. I purchased divided dishes, candy/compote etc. You always find quality pieces. 🤩
I absolutely love the statues. Never had anything that nice. My grandma had mostly 20’s and 30’s mixing bowls. I love it all. From the fashions, make up, Not hair styles, cars…..
My Grandmother on the paternal side was born in 1920. She loved the design of Gustav Klimt, which always struck me as the essence of Art Deco, with the black/golden colours. Very classy in my humble opinion. 💫
I think Pete Beard included Gustav Klimt in a video on his illustration channel.
Love it! I favor 20s-30s era. Grew up with a lot in grandma's kitchen. Textiles n quilts Blue Ridge pottery dishes from cereal boxes. Linens embroidered and crocheted. Dad worked for the RR and had a side job at the local furniture store. Some Saturday s he repaired radios n TV's . Our first tv had a small round screen with two channels. It was third hand and dad repaired it. A small radio much like the kitchen one pleased my mom and she listened to opera while cooking and ironing. She had the mixer with white bowls. I have the jadeite which is a fave. My oldest loves mid century while the youngest is a minimalist . Oh well !

You really have some fantastic goodies in this haul. Nothing like that in my childhood. My parents did Early American in the 1970's and my Grandparent were like a mish-mosh of eras!

You have some amazing things as always to show. Loved hearing about your Dad's book ends. Some of the other sellers really go for the nudes I've noticed. I can imagine that your Mom may not have liked them just anywhere but they are nice. I think out of everything, the coffee set was my favorite. That handle was so unusual on the coffee pot. Even if you never find the two missing cups, the set looks complete using them under the sugar and creamer. Hope you have a nice place to display them. It would be a shame for them to be hidden away in a box like you found them!

This is such a treat, we discovered your entertaining videos just this afternoon. My husband and I moved to ATL from DTW about 17 years ago. We were disappointed to find Atlantans are not big fans of Art Deco or streamline design. So it’s very difficult to find down here. Many years ago, a friend thought he was giving us a dig by saying our house looked like a 1930’s diorama. He was annoyed that we took it as a compliment. The only things in our house that aren’t vintage, are kitchen appliances, televisions and stereos. I was very impressed with your German coffee service. It’s very beautiful, and if we’d seen it in a box lot, we would have grabbed it as well. Our fantasy find would be a Schrenkengost Jazz Bowl. They are so rare that the only way we’d be able to buy one is if someone made a tragic mistake. We have a large collection of Consolidated glass that we love adding to. We were lucky enough to find 2 pieces of Ruba Rombic that were a bargain. Anyway, we enjoyed our mini binge of your videos tonight and look forward to more.

so much to enjoy and love- we all have so much fun thrifting...your finds are pretty awesome... when I was a kid I found a tortoiseshell FADA bakelite radio that had a built-in nightlight, that worked and I would listen to it each night as I went to sleep.. when I moved out of my parents home I left a few boxes of things in the garage and the radio was in one and my mother put the boxes to the curb and saved all the freaking board games from the 70's... when I went looking for my 5.00 FADA radio... it was gone I missed that radio because I loved it and not the true value which I saw in a book was a few hundred dollars in the early 80's.... sigh! Seeing your FADA reminded me of the one I lost.

Very enjoyable, as always. I like so many different things. Eclectic is my middle name! When I was a kid there was always a radio in the kitchen that sat on a counter. My fave show to listen to was Blondie & Dagwood.

I have learned that you should choose the color of your walls according to the color of your furniture to complement the wood tones. That seems to work well for me as my furniture is the honey brown color. Thank you for for showing and telling us the history of your pieces. 🙏👍💕

i loved the coffee set. But I have to say that it was a close second to the mixer. I've been wanting one like that for a long time because it reminds me of what my mother had. Hers was white. Green is actually my favorite color as well!

I’ve come to appreciate Art Deco style from watching your videos. I don’t remember growing up with any Art Deco items in my relatives’ homes. My grandmother was born in 1946 and I don’t remember any Art Deco in my great grandmothers home. I probably just don’t remember though. But thank you for sharing such great pieces. The green cats are probably my favorite.

It’s all wonderful visually but your history lessons are always so enhancing and while listening, sometimes, one’s imagination goes right back to the deco days. Love the coffee set and the book cover art seems to match the handles on the set! Have my grandfathers radio lamp..it’s a sitting brown glaze over metal squirrel sitting next to the amber satin crackle acorn shaped globe; with matching bookends! You will sell all this in a snap!
