I really Really REALLY want to see a courtroom stenographer speedrun this game.
I have read that they use special "chorded" keyboards that aren't a qwerty layout so they might have to do some weird controller configurations, but it'd be so cool if it was possible

Jokes aside it could be useful, this really helps typing pretty fast without making mistakes

Shame this game didn't get an updated port on steam. Typing of the Dead Overkill did really good on that platform, so it'd be nice to see the original get that quality of support as well.
NPC 888 HotDIII/TotD2 are more deserving, I think. The latter never got an English version.
@Stefano Pavone Well, it's playable for a non-Japanese speaker since all the words are in romaji. I just find it difficult to type words I'm not familiar with -- especially really long words I'm not familiar with.

The whole premise of this game (the voice acting, having giant battery powered Dreamcast's on your back) is so ridiculous, that's what makes it so fun!

@@alelom found a list of secrets for this game that says "big head" mode will sometimes just randomly trigger, along with the player character's playermodel occasionally turning into a zombie or civilian upon beating the first boss.

Believe it or not, it's an actual instrument.
I've realized that Goldman's voice isn't as off-putting when the context of the gameplay is added. His cutscenes in isolation seem atrocious, but in a full playthrough they actually fit well with the game's arcadey and over-the-top nature.

It's just house of the dead two but with keyboards but the only difference between this and the regular one is killing the enemies on the regular one you kill them with a gun and the typing game is you have to kill them by typing the words on the screen before they damage you

I was playing this the other day and I was prompted to shoot one of the item-holding barrels or trashcans and when I did it said something about Zombie. I proceed to go into the cutscene after killing Strength and I see that James has been replaced by David the Zombie and I was laughing at the hilarity and randomness of a zombie catching car keys. This game is wild!

The Real Andre B. Elpedes' Second Account I'm pretty sure I tested out playing as Gary at one point just to see how his lines differed from those of James (never bothered with him in the DC version).
Saturn Memories But can you play as Gary on the PC Version? (I saw no one doing the Gary Playthrough or Walkthrough video on UA-cam.)
