This why metal shapers take pride in their unpainted cars. It keeps us honest. Thank you tig welding sheetmetal.

I had an f100 fender that had 5/8 of an inch around the headlight. It’s crazy what people do to cars.

@@iNVisionPrototypes my project? 😂 way, way, too slow. Actually that’s an exaggeration, I’ve done nothing recently. Too many projects I’m interested in. I make a little progress every day on something, I just never know from week to week what it might be. Focused right now installing AC in my tiny shop before the heat comes here in Phoenix. Only a couple more weeks and it will be solid in the 90s. Almost done.

@@joell439 As someone once said, multiple projects lead to multiple successes... keep fighting the good fight. AC should definitely be at the top of the list!! We're still getting temps going down to 12*F here in Ca NA da... Counting the days till we're at least in the mid 60's🥶🥶

Some of these guys who sling bondo could build statues and monuments out of that stuff.

I use the same method with the tape...but my wire always seem to push the little buggers down just enough to mess with ya...the guy from Make it Kustom made a neat little punch to make knockouts with... then he opens the holes up to fit them... don't worry though...I'm sure the rest of the is cherry....🤞

Hi Joe! I have a set of dies that make various sized knockouts. Works great when one has a lot of holes to fill. I was just illustrating a simple method a guy can get by with if they only have a few holes to fill. In regards to bumping the blanks down with the wire, strike the area next to your hole then move over with the pool to catch the knockout. Adjust with the hammer and dollie if needed. Thanks for watching!

The strip discs appear to be available in several grit equivalents. Are there specific grits you use? Specific grits you stay away from because they are too aggressive or not aggressive enough to use? Thanks.
