As someone who has been playing ror1 before I even knew a second game was being made, I'm so happy to see that its getting remastered, all of the art direction towards this series is so amazing. Its a well constructed game, and its beautiful.

I will agree it is pretty dissapionting, though for the time it doesn't matter how long something is if nothing worthwhile came out of it.
I would rather it be short than 50 minutes of Nothing.
Short and sweet can work, though for a 10 year celebration its pretty Bland.
@@alexcat6685 I bring up the duration because I expected more from it with the social media drive for fanart and the community's content like for the past week, then getting none of any of that in the stream. Not just the 15 minutes of reveals and release info, but not in the 30 minutes leading up to it either. I expected them to use that here, showcase what we bring to the game's community, after the push for it. I also expected to hear more about the development of Returns, the inclusion of the new survivor and what went into coming up with him, the design around Provenance Trials, seeing things like the concept art and early test footage. That kind of thing.
Overall it was just underwhelming, especially after I waited in that twitch channel for double the time of their presentation, because their announcement for it went something like "JOIN US LIVE AT [time] FOR THE FESTIVAL OF GUP", and that time was just "JOIN US FOR ANOTHER WAIT"
That is rather disappointing

honestly, cant say much bad about this update from gearbox. DLC looks great. Mobile game is pretty cringe, but you gotta monetize somehow. They seem committed to maintaining the game and the franchise, which is a pretty good sign. Id say cautiously hopeful for the future of the series, and as long as DLC quality doesnt drop over the coming years then ror2 looks like it will be in good enough hands for the remainder of its lifetime.
A Need doesn't justufy terrible Design or well anything terrible really.

If the game is done well, and the pricing isn't predatory, I don't feel the mobile game is cringe.
Otherwise, yes, cringe.
Even if Hostile Worlds doesn't turn out well, it could still work as modding inspiration for Risk of Rain 2. Those new survivors and enemies we saw looked pretty neat.
since when cash from game\dlc salings is not enough and poor company forced to release cringe to "monetize somehow"?? they just milking it till its dead (like bliz do to all of their games)

When they say "franchise" and yea Risk of Rain is franchise now I always get scared when I see RoR mobile stuff and similar but Risk of Rain Returns turned out great..... I do hope Seekers of the Storm for RoR2 turns out great too...... That girl at 33:15 Claire Blain when she said "there is so many potential that we have not explored with the franchise" that all can go two way... they can focuse on making really good Risk of Rain games or we end up getting "Risk of Rain racing cart" with lots of "messages" I am just hyped for RoR2 DLC and I do hope they do continue keeping making good Risk of Rain games / DLC's

Nice to see a lot of this, not so much the mobile gatcha game. Gatcha as a genre is at its core money centered
Excited to see what comes out of it. Though, it's going to be hard to get a story based narrative out of characters who have mainly been silent. As we've seen many times (Halo TV series, Legend Of Zelda Cartoon, etc.) attaching vocal personalities to characters who don't have any is a dangerous prospect. A lot of times people attach personalities to these characters, so it's disorienting when that built up expectation is broken.
So I'm both nervous and excited to see how gearbox pull this off. Keep in mind, I am no game dev, or writer. So this could just be a bunch of hogwash.
Looking forward to the future updates though.

Ремастер очень дизбалансный, мобов миллион, хп у них до жопы, а у тебя из предметов одно дерьмо, и я не говорю про рандом, я говорю что все предметы в ремастере дерьмо! При стаке увеличивается не урон, а ебаный шанс срабатывания, Из-за чего на 30-40 минуте у вас 100% срабатывания на всё, но урона с гулькин нос, я мобов на 200 минуте на легком уровне, с 150% уроном и 50% резистом, нихуя никого не ваншотил, да я наносил быстро урон, но НЕ ВАНШОТИЛ, это просто бред блять, в первой части (оригинальной) почти любой предмет при стаке давал УРОН, из-за чего были ваншоты, да и игроки второго РоРа не дадут соврать, что там тоже мрого предметов на УРОН. В общем, Ретурнс, играть просто невозможно даже на Легком вы умираете от ваншота, а мобы не умирают, буду ждать обнова с ребалансом предметом

My favorite part of risk of rain 2 is exploring the map and gather more collectibles testing the effects and see all of them on my character
@@econo23I suppose a sandbox should be added, where you can freely go to an area you already have seen and explore it without the danger.

Of all opinions i could've had of you all, you've gotten the worst here. Feck off with your ego, your mobile gacha lacks numerous of the fundamentals that makes Risk of Rain 2 great, and disregards established lore.
For crying out loud, in the trailer (and no doubt the full game), why is the Newt in a SHIP? Give me a reason that isn't going to contradict the story.
