@@skap_attack There were also a lot of times you and HoopGOD asked him a question but the FYF guy would cut Gilbert off and answer it. They really do need to mute everyone. Some of the questions never got answered because of people getting cut off and another topic starting.

I honestly think gilbert just calculates what kind of hot take he can get away with to generate clicks and avoid any serious consequences and gives said hot take. He doesn't give any real opinions whatsoever.
After his appearance on that panel with me, it is hard not to agree with that.
He naturally has real opinions but to know them you would need to be a close friend of his. If I had to place a bet I would put my money on him believing almost the exact contrary of most of the positions he pretends to hold in his podcast, minus maybe his disdain for the European players (because sadly it's something very prevalent in black culture).
I think it's pretty obvious that most of what he says on his podcast is meant to generate interest and views since nothing attracts attention as much as controversy.

When Giannis said that corny "Winner winner chicken dinner" line, the American players behind him looked at him with disdain instead of at least a supportive half-grin. Made them look clique-ish like high schoolers.

Gilbert Arena got exposed as the clown that he is he’s obviously a clutch sports employee and on LeBron’s payroll he clearly doesn’t know what he’s talking about when it comes to basketball. He got destroyed in the debate by skap attack and sports and fitness rants.
At one point, I swear he was just making stuff up that contradicted everything he has been saying for the last year...

Overall, the debate was very entertaining, especially with Sports & Fitness Rants going at Gilbert. I had to agree with Sports & Fitness Rants, how can Gilbert Arenas say Jordan is the GOAT and Kobe is his favorite player but, has Lebron over Kobe? For years Gilbert has said Lebron is the GOAT, even before Lebron won his 4th chip.
A lot of things Gilbert said wasn't factual and he ran around a lot of the questions thrown at him, especially the ones regarding the steroid allegations. I don’t agree with skap being glorified. I personally feel he is toxic for the game of basketball. His low amount of subscribers compared to a lot of other content creators tells me others feel that way as well. He’s not like some groundbreaking journalist. The average person has no idea who he is so comparing him to a legend like cossell is ridiculous and I can say confidently he will never reach 1 percent of cossell’s success.

Absolutely. While I disagree with him on a lot, I DEFINITELY respect him for coming in there and staying the whole time. Also, some people were a bit too aggressive and disrespectful to him in my opinion.
