He was brought there basically to negate the Lakers frontline's size advanatage against the Celtics in case they met again in the Finals. Nothing more nothing less.
thank you GM
It's scary to think if Shaq always did cardio, conditioning, weight lifting running, shooting. Like if he had Kobe mentality to getting better ...ohhh my
.
Shaq in Boston mentally, skillswisw we know he was good but his body broken down...should of listened to Kobe
Or to Walton... Instead of disrespecting the legend 🤷
I mean Kobe retired at 37 and Shaq was 39. Yes Shaq was woefull in his last year but Kobe was arguably worse that last year I mean there's his last game. But other than that he averaged 15 PPG on woefull shooting like 37% from the field. He was so hurt later in his career I believe there is a happy medium I feel he over trained and Shaq under trained.
Absolutely These Kobe Glazers can't seem to stop. Kobe was the worst starting player in the league his last 3 seasons. Shaq was actually good in Phoenix, serviceable in Cleveland.
Kobe is not a good example. he has tons of injury and also broke down in his last couple of years. LBJ is the example you need. Jordan is also good, too, but not as good
@@jessicarukuata-joynson938different context. Kobe went ridiculous to carry his team to the playoffs in year 17 at 34 after tons of career injuries. When comparing players to Kobe late in his career you should compare each of their year 17s
Jordan on the wizards
Not even close

Patrick Ewing on the Sonics
I thought Shaq was low-key underrated when he was with the Suns, but that team somehow, the total was less than the sum of its parts
it was a marketing thing shaq in a celtics jersey sold out instantly
I mean, I can’t act like I don’t want one
I think you’re a new creator bro, but in all honesty this is a great vid bro. Good editing, footage, script, etc. only go up from here! Keep it up brother!!
When I looked at his subscriber count after I read this comment, I was so surprised that he didn't have at least 500k just based off his content quality lmao
Shaq was still decent when he went to Cleveland
W for playing family business in the background
Hakeem with the Raptors, Kemp with the Magic, Ewing with the Supersonics are the few players that you can do a similar video on.
🐰 Showing Love From Maryland. 🦀
Tony Parker on the Hornets
Awesome series
could do d rose as well after all the injuries, or karl malone
D Rose wouldn’t be a bad idea, probably not Karl Malone though 😂
@@YoungMoneySports cs he a pedo
Rose didn’t let his body go like shaq, he just got injured, which scared him into regression. Shaq just lazy

@@Iean1nshaq got old
I’ll never get tired of listening to Shaq stories
4:32 for the video
I like how when you started talking about his Miami days, the music changed to Will Smith's 'Miami'. Interestingly enough, GTA Vice City, a fictionalized Miami, had The Whispers' 'And the beat goes on', from which Will's song was sampled from. Nice touch.
gary payton on lakers
Kobe with the Jordan Jersey crazy

Mj in wizards? Was he any good? For me he did and still put up todays NBA modern era standards 20+ ppg. But father time caught him gave him injuries in his legs.
Barkley said to Shaq in TNT studio quote " That last year in Boston, you played like a slug, barely making up and down the court" 😮😅😅😅.
Shaq was top 5 along with A.Sabonis in my opinion!.
jordan on the wizards , rodman for lakers and or mavericks
The greatest center? That's debatable
he said arguably the greatest center.
@@youtubenightcrawler9571Not even close Hakeem is better, and not even mentioning how Wilt and Kareem are in a different stratosphere compared to Shaq
@@yodatscrazy981 good players
@@yodatscrazy981I agree Kareem is on a different level, arguable with Wilt, but thinking Hakeem is better is just braindead,
@@Iean1n Hakeem statistically won 2 of the hardest championships in NBA History without a single all star on any of those rosters, He was Nearly as good of a volume scorer as Shaq, a better post player, better shooter, better passer, and eons above Shaq when it came to defense and free throw shooting, Hakeem won DPOY. Shaq only won 2 more rings, 1 of which came when he was a mere role player averaging 12.1 ppg against the Mavs down 2-0 while Dwayne Wade single handedly carried them to the championship. It’s close it most aspects but I see Hakeem as being the far superior player while a slightly worse career overall.
Wade on the Cavs could be a nice video
Tony Parker on the bobcats
By time he got with us( BOSTON) he was plague with injuries
More videos on the greatest players in their most forgettable eras plz.
Hakeem on Raptors
I never knew he played for the cetics at one point
Great video, you earned yourself a sub

Dwight with lakers and rockets
ewing on magic and soincs or d rose on all the teams he's beeen on over the years
Steve Nash on the lakers
The problems with his last season is not a great farewell retirement .
His body was just overweight , and never got in shape as he got older.
Shame if he listened to kobe , he might never got himself shape.
Yes he was fat Shaq at thus point
I’d say that first year with Boston was pretty solid. He was a borderline starter but overall a legitimate rotation piece that was valuable
Yeah, like I said it mainly came down to the injuries. If he had played more and not looked so bad at the end because of his right leg injuries then this could’ve been a better way to go out for him.
He only played one year 😂😂😂
Lsmoove81519 is at it again with misinformation
Ronaldo on Al Nassr
He was Definitely Better than Me..
I'll Tell you That.. 🤦🏾♂️🤣🤣
Allen Iverson on the nuggets and Pistons. In all honesty, I don't remember him in the Pistons at all
You think you can make a video on Derick Rose after the Bulls
Actually working on that right now, saw others were recommending that when this video came out. Will be largely focused on one stint after his exit from Chicago, but there’s bits and pieces from most of his career
It’s done! ua-cam.com/video/MOtIC9z4sGo/v-deo.htmlsi=dGPv5t2hue-o6Q4z
Iverson on the Pistons
His career was over by then it was sad Boston really Shaq 😂
Players forget the only reason they are rich is because of the fans that watch. I like Shaq but he owed his fans the best.. He was great but could've been better
Was Jordan any good when he played baseball ?
I wonder if Shaq would have kept wearing reeboks instead of wearing those cheap shaq shoes he sold at Walmart maybe he wouldn't have had so many problems with his feet during that time.
Shaq w/ Boston 04:28
Lol why you skipping the history of his journey there.
P.S. it's a rhetorical question.
@@younglove3362 it’s very specific reason lol, I knewthe majority of the history up until the Boston era. Fair question tho👍🏼💯
That’s fair, I figured a lot of people knew at least a little bit about most of Shaq’s stints before Boston. I just figured narratively it would make sense to go through his career and what made him pick the Celtics as his last stop.
@@YoungMoneySportsyes, great content! Don’t change anything about it💯🔥! It actually filled in some holes for me! Just subbed💯💯💯

too much BBQ chicken 🐔
I got one more than Shaq and next season I'm going to get swept by JJ barea you can take that to the bank
Was baron Davis any good?
Petty White

No, no is the answer.
That man was trash & a shell as his former self. All he had left for the most part was the dunk.
He played with the cavs too!
As a Cs fan.. easy answer.. FFFFFFAAAWWWWWK NO
Shaq was old and way way way out of shape by the time he was with the Celtics…
Compare his time the Celtics versus Blake Griffin’s two years ago… teammates loved Blake and he did everything asked of him with HEART even though his body wasn’t what it once was, he was in the best condition possible, consummate professional and great role model.
Shaq, on the other hand, was a prima donna then (and now,) never attempting defense, still dunk-posing and being cocky and trying to sell himself as if he were 10 years younger… in reality, Shaq came in incredibly fat and out of shape - closer to today’s Shaq than prime Shaq.
He was catching a paycheck and everyone knew it but he was simply too arrogant to blend in with those lessoned abilities to be a great ROLE player. It really made me change my perspective on him… He wasn’t a worker, he was a prima donna with incredibles natural abilities butna child when those abilities faded… NOT very Boston like, in other words.
No
NO!!!
No.
Not a factor at all
Nope
No. He was awful
On the Celtics.
