That Draymond vs Embiid flagrant comparison is WILD. How does this man have more flagrants in half the number of games as a superstar? Everyone knows NBA refs give preferential treatment to stars but Embiid is still so dirty the refs have no choice but to call some of his fouls.

As a Celtics fan, Embiid has never worried me in matchups. He's big, sure, but he's also slow, always injured and you can rely on him to underperform in at least 50% of playoff games. The issue for Embiid is that (contrary to what he thinks) he doesn't have a high basketball IQ. Boston shamelessly double teams him and the reason they do this is because Embiid still struggles to make the cross-court read...let alone the pass. This is why Boston's playoff strategy has generally revolved around throwing doubles at Embiid like candy off a parade float. Embiid also always wants the ball up high, despite the fact that he has a poor handle. Herein lies a key reason that Boston has been comfortable defending him with stocky, strong guards over the years (and other teams as well such as the Raptors deploying OG onto him). Taking the ball up high negates most of his size/strength advantages. He also struggles to get low when he's in the post, which is why you see smaller guys able to body with him. All of this speaks to a low overall IQ, as most of them are pretty basic errors.
You wouldnt be saying that if he injured your player or players.I love how you not worried about matchups when this dude can literally injure your best player or players.
@@emersonssbb He actually did injure Hayward, Theis, and Smart in 2019 and 2020. The Celtics make the finals beating Miami in the ECF if those guys aren't injured... If he did the same shit at the park in the hood, he'd have been hospitalized or worse a LONG time ago.
@@emersonssbb Did you even read their comment? Pretty obvious he meant from a strategic standpoint. You can't plan to not get injured. Unfortunately if Embiid wants to play dirty and hurt someone, he's going to have a chance to do that no matter what you do. Like I said, you can't gameplan against injury...what're you going to do? @@zeked4200 I could give a rat ass what he said. Forget a ring, we know Embiid ain't making a conference final. At least harden made it and put up a fight vs the 2018 warriors (although he choked that also).
@@richborn6700 Ant outdoing Embiid whole playoff career in a single postseason is funny. Beating Jokic vs Losing to Brunson (while actively trying to injure Knicks players), the difference is wild
This guy is making the league look bad. Draymond Green’s situation is even worse, the guy shouldn’t be playing anymore and definitely not featuring tv shows as a commentator or commercials from the league’s major sponsor. Everybody can see what they do and when unethical behavior isn’t properly addressed, it’s as if the league’s endorsing these behaviors. And on top of that, Embiid is brought to play for team USA… Seems like team USA is kind of afraid of not being capable of winning on their own
I was about to say, Embiid is far worse than Green. Embiid takes pride in what he does, while Green just seems like he’s mad all the time and needs some anger management counseling. That’s just straight evil coming from Embiid which is why they call him the “DIRTIEST”. But at the end of the day, both of them have their own faults.
@@aaronyu2660 bro, we are well passed the anger manager stuff, Green knew damn well what he did and did it gladly with a angry face mask while smiling his ass off on the inside, because the FO and Nba coddle him, and he knows it. @@asdasd1111ish there’s a slight difference in the way they approach it, which can either be classified as chill or just simply disgusting in modern day culture. Green might be manipulative behind the scenes, we wouldn’t fully know at the end of the day. Your “guess” is as good as mine. But looking at what we can see for now, the image he puts up is more like a biased angry clown who has an ego. That can all boil down to anger at the end of the day, and that’s about it, making him amiable in some ways. That’s why the team a lotta times still rally against him despite his hot temper. Take a look at Embiid on the other hand. He throws his teammates under the bus completely. He even made the comment about how he was so “smart” about doing all the things he did ~ on purpose too… and that’s straight up different. I can imagine a person who’s just looking for his homies in an extremely biased way (Green) and I can also imagine there would be someone in the league who’s completely using dirty tricks as valid tactics for their self benefit (Embiid). I can see that they can be VERY different people. That’s not to say that it’s not possible for Green to also be doing what Embiid is doing, but I’m saying that at least there’s another possible persona that we can attribute Green with instead, which is a lot better than the only persona Embiid is - a selfish and dirty player.
Watching this guy play in the playoffs this season, he instantly shot up as my least favorite player in the league. From the foul baiting to the dirty reckless abandon he plays with, it's downright terrible to watch as a product and also he's just a bad teammate. Unbearable and I can't believe any fan would want him on their team in spite of his talents based on the way he plays.
Every year after they lose, I @ him on Twitter and ask him who he’ll blame this time. Also, them STILL blaming Ben when they had 3 and a half minutes left in that game and were only down by 2. Even if Ben scored, they still lost the game by 5. The actual story of that game is they gave up 7 more turn overs. And had 5 more fouls. They were never going to win that game.
@@RandallTheShotoWilliams15 that Ben Simmons moment was pretty bad but yeah, it was just his turn to be the scapegoat that year. Who is Embiid blaming this season, is it the coach again
@@simple45679 he’s been pretty quiet after he claimed the Knicks were the easiest team to beat and then lost to them. He flat out said they wanted to play the Knicks. 😭
I don't see why people always bring up Embiid's flopping first. Embiid's primary purpose on the court is to cause injuries to opposing players. Flopping is secondary. The referees are far more blatantly overlooking rules in the rulebook about causing injuries, than about flopping.
The fact that he is claiming flopping is "Smart" is kinda messed up. If flopping isn't called out and punished by the league, it can have a significant impact on the way the game is perceived by its fans. Football (Soccer) had this problem for years and its still fairly prevalent, but the leagues have at least taken steps to curtail it through post-match punishments and fines.
The league just needs to stop giving free calls of punish floppers. Idk what’s holding them back from doing that it would make the game more enjoyable.
His main problem is he does not have a post-up game. I remembered someone pointing that out and his excuse is he doesn't need it to win. 2nd round exit come playoff time.
Embiid also tested the limits of the supposedly international referees in the olympic exhibition games, and discovered that purposely causing injuries to opposing players is completely overlooked by the refs on international basketball courts as well. So, in a way Embiid is right. If any player isn't actively trying to cause injuries to opposing players, he isn't playing intelligently.
Crazy that during his "we can't win alone" speech he and Harden were terrible. Embid had 15 points with 5-18 and Harden had 9 points with 3-11. Meanwhile Tatum had 51 And Brown 25

it makes sense, scouted out of Cameroon i remember them saying he started playing basketball real late. He never went through rec leagues, learning the ropes of the game as a kid. Instead going straight to competitive high school basketball trying to get into College. I imagine he, mentally, just decided to go for the playstyle that gets the most points possible, regardless of danger to other players or respect of the game due to him really not growing up with it.
Statistically Embiid deserved the award. By giving the MVP-award to a player is also making the player a bigger role model to kids. The commissioner and the league front office being extremely harmful to basketball for decades, I'm not surprised at all that Embiid got the award.
@@kaysheye7784 Just plays like a scumbag can't respect a guy that tries to injure other players and generally has 0 sportsmanship. And I think he blamed his team this year and last year. Superstars don't blame their team they play better and try to improve themselves.

I really haven't seen a more irritating and slimy athlete. He won MVP crying, but before that, he claimed he didn't care about it. He indirectly criticized Jokic and his stats and then avoids going to Denver (because of the MVP duel). Constantly blames his teammates and says he can't do it alone. He wrote to the French and begged for citizenship to play for them, but then betrayed and criticized them for actions in Africa, which are true, but why did he flirt with them in the first place knowing that? He says he would play for Cameroon if they had qualified, but he chose to play for USA before that. It never occurs to him to help them qualify on his own. He claims he would be in the GOAT conversation if it weren't for injuries. And now he’s making excuses for the new American Dream Team, saying other teams are as talented as they are (?!) and that they aren’t as strong as they used to be. It’s unreal how much pathetic he is.
Flopping and getting into other player's heads is something Rodman did often, but ne never stooped so low when it came to purposefully injuring other players. When flopping started to become the meta in the 2010’s I knew we were cooked. The weird thing is that refs have been seeing natural fouls for years. So it’s weird when a player moves unnaturally to get a foul, that the ref actually calls it. Especially the head/arm flail combo. Soon as I see that, I know it’s bs.
This video was AWESOME - with only *one* slight flaw : it should have included footage of when Pascal Siakam took REVENGE on Embid with a Perfectly Executed, Season Ending Elbow that cracked Embid’s SKULL!! (In retaliation for Embid intentionally crushing Scottie Barnes’ foot during playoffs.) And then Scottie immediately gave Pascal a low five, with MAXIMUM RESPECT. 🫡🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️ That would have made for some heart-warming Justice to end the video. But aside from that, this was PERFECT. 💯💯💯
I don’t like wishing on anyone’s downfall, but I hope Embiid never gets a ring. That MVP he won over Jokic was a pity trophy. Edit: out of boredom I’m boutta go watch some Joel Embiid highlights because I’m bored.
Embiid really had a PR downfall, a few years ago he was one of the bigs who ushered in the new school era of great centers. I've been watching basketball for over 30 years and I never even heard somebody mention once how many free throws Wilt or Pettit got. First person I disliked for flopping all the time was Harden when he started hooking defenders arms on purpose, before it wasn't really a thing in basketball, especially not for bigs. I can't recall the Dream or the Admiral ever flopping once, for Shaq it wouldn't have made much sense since poor dude never made those free throws, but still he didn't, he dunked on everybody no matter how much Hack the Shaq they played.
He said him and James can’t win alone Smh Who did Giannis have? Who does Miami have? Who does Denver have? Who does Boston have? These teams have one maybe two superstars
Low key, if I was the sixers, I might consider trading a 30 year old injury prone Embiid and to start thinking about building the team around Tyrese Maxey
The Claxton play. The John Collins play. The Mitch Robinson play. The Ariza play. Edit: I forgot about the curb stomp on Grant. In no particular order, these are the dirtiest things I have ever seen on a basketball court during play...at any level. A 12th man type player would be banned for life. Embiid is not just the dirtiest superstar...he's the most evil player of all time, and it's not even close. Nobody, not Draymond, Grayson Allen, Zaza, Laimbeer etc. has done the kinds of things Embiid does. Plus, Embiid still gives you all the Draymondesque nut shots and Bill Laimbeeresque rough stuff on top of the obvious premeditated attempts at ending guys' seasons/careers. The fact that he throws teammates under the bus and makes excuses for choking in the playoffs every year is just further proof of his lack of moral character. Lol, the foul baiting is the least evil thing he does. He's going to keep getting injured because he deserves it. Never getting out of the second round.
And the elbow to Jarrett Allen’s face in the 2019 playoffs against the Nets (which he laughed about in the postgame interview). Embiid has been dirty like a diaper for a long time.

As another Celtics fan, you know ball🏀
You wouldnt be saying that if he injured your player or players.I love how you not worried about matchups when this dude can literally injure your best player or players.
@@emersonssbb He actually did injure Hayward, Theis, and Smart in 2019 and 2020. The Celtics make the finals beating Miami in the ECF if those guys aren't injured... Bro Embiid is like a Disney villian. Hes pretty much made himself too easy to hate.
And on top of that, Embiid is brought to play for team USA… Seems like team USA is kind of afraid of not being capable of winning on their own
I still can't believe they had Draymond on the desk in Minneapolis for WCF after he put Gobert in a chokehold, it's just disrespectful
Womp womp
I was about to say, Embiid is far worse than Green. Embiid takes pride in what he does, while Green just seems like he’s mad all the time and needs some anger management counseling. That’s just straight evil coming from Embiid which is why they call him the “DIRTIEST”. But at the end of the day, both of them have their own faults.
@@aaronyu2660 bro, we are well passed the anger manager stuff, Green knew damn well what he did and did it gladly with a angry face mask while smiling his ass off on the inside, because the FO and Nba coddle him, and he knows it. Embiid did the same sh*t but not smart enough to pull a mental card like Green
Do you watch the NBA?
Be honest
Every year after they lose, I @ him on Twitter and ask him who he’ll blame this time.
Also, them STILL blaming Ben when they had 3 and a half minutes left in that game and were only down by 2. Even if Ben scored, they still lost the game by 5. The actual story of that game is they gave up 7 more turn overs. And had 5 more fouls. They were never going to win that game.
It's hilarious watching his supporters cape for him every single year when his choke job is inevitable.
A highly overlooked point. Everyone was focused on Ben when they should've focused on the whole team
@@RandallTheShotoWilliams15 that Ben Simmons moment was pretty bad but yeah, it was just his turn to be the scapegoat that year.
Who is Embiid blaming this season, is it the coach again
Embiid had 8 turnovers in that game. Maybe they win the game if he has 3 or 4 less turnovers.
@@simple45679 he’s been pretty quiet after he claimed the Knicks were the easiest team to beat and then lost to them. He flat out said they wanted to play the Knicks. 😭

Actually most people supported him hitting Markieff, considering that both him and his brother are both very dirty players
I can’t believe anyone would ruin someone’s career that they have worked their whole lives for. They deserve to be kicked out of the NBA
Wow I knew this was the narrative around Embiid, but had no idea the extremes he went to with flopping. Lost all respect for him
Ye, it's crazy. He is averaging the most freethrows attempts per game in the entire NBA history. 2 more then hack the Shaq.

Sometimes I wish the ref would just scream "Get up, bitch!" after some of these ridiculous flops.
His main problem is he does not have a post-up game. I remembered someone pointing that out and his excuse is he doesn't need it to win. 2nd round exit come playoff time.

It's not that the rules aren't there to deal with it, it's that the NBA doesn't enforce those rules.

It's the first round now. This time next year you'll hear about Embiid never making it out of the play-in or never reaching the playoffs.
it makes sense, scouted out of Cameroon i remember them saying he started playing basketball real late.
Most common people living in Cameroon must have gone to the same U.S. highschool as Embiid, because their mentality is very much like his.

It was a pity MVP. NBA didn't want to give Jokic 3 in a row and didn't want to give Giannis a third MVP, so Embiid was the next-best option.
Statistically Embiid deserved the award. By giving the MVP-award to a player is also making the player a bigger role model to kids. The commissioner and the league front office being extremely harmful to basketball for decades, I'm not surprised at all that Embiid got the award.
