The real reason why Jokic got angry and reacted that way was a collision of knees. In the game before, Jokic had left early due to an injury to the same knee. The knee injury could mean the end of the season, and maybe even his career. Nikola didn't back down after retaliating but stayed in place and confronted all the Miami players.

It's time the NBA Commissioner speak up about the Morris brothers' tough guy talk. There's no place for such hooliganism, even if it's so far been largely just talk. However, the Marcus brothers ought to be made to understand that they would be out of the league, plus criminal charges, if they ever decide to make good on their gangsta act.
