Nib is a typical dip nib design, like Zebra nibs. Used in a few pens, Osprey & some Chinese brands.

Looks exactly like the nib on the Blue Dew. I wonder who makes them.

      It is identical.

@@InkquiringMinds the only difference I see is the breather hole. It even looks like the feed is identical.

This looks like it was made by the same Chinese manufacturer that makes pens for Lorelei and Bluedew. In particular the nibs and acrylics all look nearly identical

Even the FAQs between Aaron and BlueDew are nearly identical in questions and answers. It feels like something fishy is going on to me.

Strange to have a flex with a converter. Flex tend to use more ink.

    Try another ink.

I think Noodler's do a non-feathering ink that might help this pen.

I like the pen but oh boy does it feather! The Aaron Pen notepad looks like it would even feather with a ballpoint! Such a pity because it makes me wonder how useable this pen actually is in everyday writing. Hopefully you will find an ink/paper combination that works well together with the Beta Flex.

It's the ink and the paper responsible for the feathering... Not the pen!

I've just bought some Pilot blue ink in a very curvaceous bottle. Interested to read your views on that ink. Thanks.
I'm not normally interested in pens with fine nibs but will do some more research into this one.

"Blu N'we" not "newt," meaning night blue. :)
Interesting pen/nib. It looks a lot like the Zebra nib without the side reliefs. I would definitely want some assurance it is not a re-purposed gilded plain steel nib that will eventually corrode. They claim it's "marine grade ss," but that sounds 🙄 If it is indeed made from material that will last, it has a lot of potential!

bit surprised that ‘night blue’ doesn’t seem to be J Herbin‘s blue/black - that’s certainly what I hoped it was when I bought it!, but it’s still an attractive colour: wonder if it maybe seems a lot less saturated due to the XXF nature of that extremely cool nib on that Aaron’s Flex pen?(love your French pronunciation btw!:); it’s been a while since you reviewed a Pilot pen: any chance of a wee bit of love for Pilot 78g+ with that lovely ‘B’/stub nib and that blue/black ink?: want to see more of that, please!:)

Looks like Aaron made such a wet noodle, The paper chosen can’t handle it. I’ve seen paper that can handle dollops of ink it’s just sticking on top of the paper and is steadily absorbed producing crisp lines.
