I grew up in Michigan listening to W4, WLLZ & WRIF. I thought these guys were HUGE! There are like 5 BIG HITS off of this record played all of the time. "Hollywood" & "Last Chance" got played to death and I am glad. I have three cassettes in a closet. I thought they had over 12 songs I could name as HITS. I always loved the violin. Each player was a virtuoso. They blew away Journey -- better singers, harmonies, songs and players. They should have been the headliners for anyone they opened for in my opinion.
Great music. Very underrated band. I am born and raised K.C. Missouri. Got the first album when I was 15. Huge influence on my life. All of their music
So many fantastic powerful and uplifting great rock jams- Standing in the Light never fails to put a pop in my step as I turn the volume dial up. Such a fantastic band!
I don't know what equipment was used or who mastered but, the original V & R 1991 cd of hofyl with motorcycle on front sounds awesome ! Before the loudness wars. Ironically I just ordered the 99 III Wishes cd the other day on Ebay and waiting. Should have checked the dynamic range before buying as I see it is only 8.. Yes I am an audiophile and hang out a little over at Steve Hoffman forums lol.

Will there be a physical copy available for this remaster ? Any idea on the catalog being released to streaming services like Tidal , Qobuz (preferably MQA from original masters) for Tidal or Qobuz Hi-REz ? I see the only thing streaming is Alive in America.
Efforts are underway, but it’s complicated, in as much as Virgin lost the masters of the albums released by them. The best available sound restoration technology was used by V&R Records back in the 90s when the catalog of the original 5 albums were reissued, but with the continuing advances in new audio restoration technologies, (thinking of the work by Peter Jackson in recent couple years), hoping that this may be coming to fruition in the not too distant future.
