For anyone watching this without seeing some of the earlier discussions about the Blackshark EQ settings, the key difference maker is to TURN OFF THX SPATIAL AUDIO with the Synapse software. Leaving the THX audio enabled muddies the sound because it gets processed twice by both the headset and the PS5. Disable THX and let the PS5’s Tempest Audio bring your game worlds to life. I used to use the default "flat EQ on this headset, but now I recommend the GAME preset. It gives much more directionality to the sound and brings out a lot of detail. Just remember to DISABLE THX! That is THE setting to change!
@@willramz Hey man, I am using blackshark V2 wired with dualsense and I do not feel any difference after making changes in EQ from the Razer software. It seems changes are not propagated to the headset. Is there is any specific way to save changes in the headset or just disconnecting 3.5 mm from the Razer soundcard is going to save the changes?
@@willramz I have non pro version. I think it makes sense now, the settings gets saved in pro version, and hence my blackshark sounds so muted, with no bass.
Hi, very good video. The razer blackshark v2 seems really good. I have a hyper x cloud Alpha for 3 years and I'm happy with their performance (got minor ussues due to use most likely) do you think the upgrade might be worth It? Thanks and again great video and a new sub, greetings from Spain!!
Quick question with the v2. My settings on the ps5 is boost low can I keep everything the same while I use the v2 far as the rebirth settings on warzone
Yeah you'll be fine to still keep everything the same bro. If you do feel like you want to play with your settings on your headset, whatever setting your testing, just also switch back and forth from default to low boost on your ps5 to make sure your ok with the quality because for most of these headsets, companies optimize their sound settings based off of the console's default sound

@@Tarunsingh12 I believe the changes are in the dongle. Do you have the wireless pro version? I haven’t really used them wired yet.
