You're knowledgeable and experienced with a variety of headsets, so you know what you're talking about. 2 points of criticism that could turn this "really good" review into a "great/excellent" review, are Corsair is pronounced "Core-sare," with "sare" sounding like "tear" as in "tear in half." The other point is, you talk about the adjustable headstraps, but then say it's "not one size fits all." That's what the straps are for. They're more inconvenient than over-head straps, but to say it's not "one size fits all," and to spend more time explaining that than the straps that negate that point, muddles the clarity of your review. Other than that, this review is very well done with great production value and is otherwise in-depth - for example you state the battery life, but give us your real-world experience with it.

You can get an external USB SSD up to 4TB (or higher if you want) for pretty cheap for the Xbox series X. I have been using it for a year now. Transfer speeds wont be as fast as an m.2 but they are fast enough for storing and reading games, and you will save a lot of money.

Are the ear cushions removable from the magnets in order to wash them? Also mic test some people are probably wanting to hear if the mic is good? I wouldn't want to spend $400 on a headset if there isn't replacement parts because I would be expecting for it to last for a couple of years. I had steelseries arctis 7p headset and lasted about 3-4 years and it gave up would've kept it and fixed it but it required soldering to replace the battery. I know not all companies are going to keep the products parts for long periods of time but it's just the right to repair or replace in order for it to give it a bit more time. It's just the little things that matter.

Wow, the same model for the Xbox doesn’t have any issues at all. You can have sound coming from TV and headphones all by inserting the usb stick. PS5 making it WAY too frustrating.

From my experience, The S700 is better than the Arctis 9x on paper. Better sound quality, better noise isolation, better comfort, better price, etc. However, the one major flaw of the S700 that makes it the lesser headset is the absolutely awful and unreliable software. I ran into so many issues that got worse and worse as time went on, eventually returning them after 3 weeks.
