WHAT!? i've been chilling here listening to all your decade old songs just to find out you make beauties like this in french. oh my gosh i've been missing out, i love french music as it's the second language i learned and i have always appreciated the emotion in french songs but this is truly one of my best finds. i am so happy that one of my favorite english musicians also sing in french ahhh
A haunting song. Beautifully sung. I especially enjoyed the light touch of the instrumentalists...that actually increased the emotional range of the performance. I realize I haven't heard many French songs....

This, for me, was musically interesting once I realized what was happening (again for me) inside of about 10-15 seconds. For as long as I can remember, I don't generally connect to lyrics, and so my mind considers them, and often the voice singing them, as in the way. Well, I don't speak French, and so the singer's voice became purely instrumental to my ears, and wow ... just beautiful! Harmonically, some of this was reminiscent of ELO (Electric Light Orchestra), and that voice just guided the journey wonderfully. Thanks so much for sharing ... I very much enjoyed every bit of this song!
