At the begin you say you can't see the CL actually walk, but if using a spy and disguise as a CL, you will see it have a walk animation! Also it's a cursed spy disguise..
It even works with Rocketeers too

I love that the chrono legionaire leaves no rubble, as a kid I was extremely annoyed by rubble so I would use them to clean up!

If I recall, there's also one more gimmick that some Pro players rarely use. Mainly, if You use CL on a structure from the South, it will save it from nuke and perhaps psychic dominator. You lose CL, but it won't damage / destroy structure. Position of CL is also important, because if the game calculate CL death before calculating structure damage, it will destroy both. Just a thing I remember from pro games.

IIRC that has to do with how CellSpread works. The southern cells don't get damage applied until later, after the other cells.
0:55 While it's true that making short hops isn't faster, it gives you way more control since you can just cancel the waypoints and escape in case there's any danger nearby. With a single hop they are a sitting duck until they reach the target.
There's also a weird bug with the Chrono Legionnaire which, IIRC, involves using an Iron Curtain killing both the Legionnaire and the infantry unit they are freezing.
Erasing civ buildings without rubbles are just so handy! Love to use it
Also Chronosphere can work like that with CL huh, sounds kinda OP
I used to erase the Sydney Opera House in the Allied YR campaign so i could build a chronosphere on the same spot :D

That's the reason why elite CL doesn't penetrate through the wall.
I guess they messed up on that one
or balancing purposes since it has double damage, but yeah, most likely their mistake
i vonder how people still finding much tricks in this game! When i played it in childhood - i even had no idea to test all of this stuff!

12:23 you can chrono teleport the infantry with the parameter of "Teleporter=yes" (maybe also Locomotor)
they can be teleported instantly at the destination
however, that little piece/cell of destination can be rendered not usable to place a structure.

IFV can also be promoted by killing own units if CL is inside the IFV.
It's a "feature" of weapons with a Temporal Warhead.

The lower damage on the IFV is very WEIRD but... I suppose that makes it better for protecting vital structures or units, since it'd take longer for an IFV to erase something but it'd still be under the effects of being removed from time?
What probably happened was that the IFV used to buff the damage, just like it does with any other unit, but they then buffed the main weapon without adjusting the IFV's variant.
I think it's deliberately done for balance reason since you're trading off the often clunky nature of the `Teleporter` parameter of the unit for a much more controlable mobile disabler.
I think an elite ifv with CL is faster then an Elite CL, or it seems like it, or the ifv just being promoted faster, so it is more fun to use the ifv.
Well, the IFV is a 5th of the price, so I guess it would rank 5 times faster.
8:45 minor correction: it has a different Weapon which points to a different Projectile.
The Projectile stats determine whether or not the weapon can bypass walls, elevation, etc. What you see here is the result of an oversight.
should have tested those super weapons to see how they do in a CL case:
nuke, w.storm, mutant generator and yuri's mind controll... also try to phase an infantry to see if a sniper can still kill it in 1 shot

About the Outro joke, even Psychic Dominator works... saying you're freezing an enemy unit you can use the dominator on it and it will become yours still.
Probably a bug/oversight from when they implemented the mechanics - interactions they just didn't foresee or predict.

I'm not tgSacred, but I have a very inefficient way to produce multiple infantry, it involves editing rules.ini
Clone Slave Miner into another unit, and change the name description
change the 'slave' unit into whatever you like : Boris for example
also change the number of 'slaves' that would come out, me I prefer it 20
now go into the game and produce that cloned slave miner unit
and deploy it near an ore field, watch it spawn 20 Boris doing nothing
as you can't control them yet, you need to destroy the slave miner
and voila, you have 20 Boris now
Also, this is also a way to transfer units into the enemy. especially if you wanted to fight 20 Boris for some reason
in base game no. however there are mods that enable it
In the original version unfortunately no. But you can cancel all your Queue units at once with shift and right click.

I have just compleatet Red Alert 2 with use of only war miner.
(Except for 1 mission, where it is not possible because of enemy are using Apokolips tanks)

How does promotion works if i attack with 2 unit? It req. 3 times value for promotion.
But if you attack with 2 units with combined value of 1000 (500 each). Does it req. damage of 3000 to get them promoted?
How does it work with 2, 3, 4, 5 units? Is it the amount of damage they do or is it that they share all creadit equal?
Challance: Compleat Red Alert 2 with only use of War miner.
Ships are ok, and starting unit is ok for defense of base.
Good job, well, maybe can make a video about Red Alert Remastered's bug.
So far I know is Cruiser can't attack naval units, you need to force attack near area to damage naval units, this also work when against submarine.
Same to Missile Submarine.
Then after build building, if you select units too fast, it will stuck, you can't control units, you'll hear building at wrong place's sound, you need to right click to cancel and select units again.
If you need some Red Alert Remastered skirmish against AI, I had some on my channel, so far I played more with Mujalli Mod, you can try this mod or AI-Boost Mod, Veterancy Mod and select Naval battle map.

How does the phasing work when teleporting the CL long distance into an IFV or BF?
If CL can get promoted by erasing own faction units, can CL IFV get promoted this way?

A Chrono IFV does less damage but it promotes insanely fast for some reason. Or at least in my experience (heh) it was seen like that.
Also, does the Elite Chrono IFV have a different gun to the Chrono IFV?

Very useful if you want to Sim City your base.
It promotes fast because it's the IFV that gets the credit for the kill.

Yeah but even for an IFV it levels up quickly. Like faster than what an IFV should be levelling up for.

That's like 2 Rhino Tanks or 3 IFVs-it really isn't that much.

It really just comes down to math.
It takes 1200 worth in units to promote the IFV to Veteran Rank.
1800 worth for Elite Rank.
This XP requirement is cumulative.
Say you manage to zap a Rhino Tank away with the Chrono IFV, that's 900 XP, No Promotion.
However, the next Rhino Tank you zap gives you another 900 XP, that's 1800 now, hence why you skip over Veteran rank.
The weapon of an IFV does not inherently change how the IFV promotes.
Now this doesn't take into account how Veteran and Elite units are actually worth slightly more so that could be a factor.

If I remember right, you can have a CL teleport into a vehicle IFV/BF and there won't be a penalty. They can start attacking instantly. However, if they are released from the vehicle, then they will have to wait and phase.
Does an Elite CL in a IFV have the same weapon as a rookie CL in IFV?
What about Elite IFV vs rookie?
Elite units inside of an IFV doesn't make a difference since IFVs aren't OpenTopped vehicles like a Battlefortress.
Instead, the IFV's weapon changes. And I believe there are no Elite versions of the customized IFV weapons [sic], just the basic one.

Except for jumpjet infantry vs Rocketeer most Tiberian sun units are weaker.
@@DuyLe-oy9xm true that. Their veterancy only serve as a minor damage buff and that’s it. However in Firestorm crisis, I’m not sure if this is true or not or I’m having amnesia is that deployed units (tick tanks, artilleries, juggernauts) have healing properties when they are on elite.
Veterancy or not most TibSun units are still weaker than RA2 counterparts.

Nope, it's the same.
I don't like putting Chrono Legionnaires in Battlefortresses especially mixed in with other infantry since it's inherently slower in destroying targets than having your infantry shoot at it unless it was vehicle but at the point, why not just fill it full with Chrono Legionnaires?
Like sure, you have an innately defended Chrono Legionnaire while it erases a target, but wouldn't it better that every passenger in the BF actually damage to the target?
Since you don't have keep the BF stationary to keep dealing damage (mind you, your progress in erasing a target is undone if you give the BF a different order and/or the BF's Chrono Legionnaire's target goes out-of-range.).
Isn't these guys are the only one who can destroy bridge repair huts?
You know you should quit the match if the enemy:
Built a gap generator.
Heard multiple constructing.
Sent a spy to your barracks.
Built a heavy base defense.
Heard multiple chrono legionnaire teleportation from the FOW (Fog of war)
And has lots of oil derricks protected.
And your status is:
You don't have a captured battle lab (Iraq) or didn't chose Iraq.
No canines guarding the entire base.
And superweapons aren't allowed.

On a sidenote, I still can't forgive them for utterly failing in the Allied liberation efforts from the Mental Omega universe.
Edit: Still, points for being an awesome unit of benevolence that nicely reminds me of the otherwise controversial Homura Akemi.
Why this unit is rarely used by pro player?
My guess would be tech level, cost and survivability.
Primarily, because there are just better, more cost-effective options when you get to Tier 3.
Prism+Mirage on critical mass is a cheap deathball.
Battlefortress has so much versitility eventhough it's more expensive.
Chrono Legionnaires, unless you have say... 5 or more that you sneak into an enemy base with, they're not worth the time and cost. Since you're better off smashing your enemies with your deathball.
There's just one thing bugging me. The fact that elite CL isn't tested with an IFV leaves me wanting to know how that'll end up for stuff behind walls.
