As someone searching for tools for a DAWLESS setup and kinda new at this, really appreciate that you are actually showing the range of this instrument, rather than just relegating it to being an ACID BASS like literally everyone else.
In all fairness, this is what most peeps want a 303 for, these dirty amazingly yummy acid basslines. But yeah, I'm very surprised at everything else it can do. The FX chain written in the description also gives us a good "demo" of the little we need to FX that beast.
@@speakingcolors Yes, but let's combine this with an actual bass guitar/double bass (even better) track subtly on top and nicely glued together and make some Funky/Disco House kinda tunes with it. If not loud/phat enought a TubeScreamer is always to the rescue...
First off, that is the basic overall sound of the unit. Second, you ignored that that there are elements of trance, techno, basses and leads, in addition to the acid bass lines. A 303 clone like this is pretty limited to a certain sound.

I may have to pick up one of these bad boys. Nice work with the sequencing and sound design. I think this would be the perfect companion for my Syntakt

I got mine this week and am amazed at the bass on this thing now , it can really drop . The only thing about it which is a bit of a pain is that the sequencer won`t load TD3 sequences through the synthtribe sequencer app , so your old sequence collection on your computer from your old TD 3 won`t load directly .

For those strapped for cash - you can make all these sounds and a million more using Zebra2 for $99. I own an Analogic BassBot, but 90% the '303' sounds in my music are from Zebra2 because the scope is so much broader. This thing does sound amazing though, it's like a 303 with the best parts from the MS-20 and SH-101. Well good.
I read that the TD-3 MO has only a 16 step sequencer. But, some of these sequences appear to have far more than 16 steps. Does the TD-3 MO have more than 16 steps? Did you chain multiple sequenced patterns for the longer acid phrases? Also, if you can explain the seven tracks. In my Roland SH-4d, it allows the user to record/sequence four different 64 step synth tracks on one pattern. When I listen to people using the TD-3 MO, I never hear more than one track being played. Does the TD-3 MO allow for multi-track sequencing within one pattern... kinda like my SH-4d? I am seriously thinking of purchasing this, of a 2nd Behringer Edge.
