As someone searching for tools for a DAWLESS setup and kinda new at this, really appreciate that you are actually showing the range of this instrument, rather than just relegating it to being an ACID BASS like literally everyone else.
In all fairness, this is what most peeps want a 303 for, these dirty amazingly yummy acid basslines. But yeah, I'm very surprised at everything else it can do. The FX chain written in the description also gives us a good "demo" of the little we need to FX that beast.
One of the better sound only demos I’ve watched (and I’ve watched a lot for a long time). Thank you
I think the rolling bass on this has sold me, thank you for the video dude!
WOW!,
Superb brilliantly structured soundscapes😍👌🏻👌🏻
Crazy to hear sth moogish out of this little box!
Great showcase video. Thank you for posting. This is the one that convinced me I needed one.
Best value for money instrument/toy i have bought in my whole life.
Best TD-3 MO demo on UA-cam. Love the techno arp, 1994 in your face!
I'm convinced that no matter what gear you're using, you pull glorious soundscapes out. Further proof that mastery of the craft trumps particular gear choices.
Thank you very much mate!
@@DYMTN My pleasure. 👊🏾
Wow, each sequence really magnificent, touched my heart❤️
okay after admiring this video for months I just caved and ordered one. can't wait to play with it!
As is always the case, these Demos aren't just playing some random keys and twiddling some meaningless knobs. They are subtle offerings loaded with good taste and a lot of creativity, the creative resource of the exaggerated pitch or glissando, is genius.
Wow! Thank you so much 🙏
The audio sound of your video sounds fantastic! Very good video! Thanks!
I'm two days into my MO so your video and sounds are the things of impossible beauty at the moment!! inspiring though and I'm loving the journey!!
The sound is just incredible.
Thank you for such a comprehensive demo! It was so refreshing to hear so many great sounds instead of the generic crunchy acid bass literally every other channel demonstrates.
very nice! It shows the lots of capabilitys of the MO
I’m very impressed with how great this little acid box sounds. It’s definitely not a “one trick pony”, the mods give it so much more sonic range. I love how aggressive it can get. I may have to pick up one of these bad boys. Nice work with the sequencing and sound design. I think this would be the perfect companion for my Syntakt
1year later update: Did you got one? How is it?
Absolutely phenomenal programming
Amazing demo!! 🎉🎉🎉
As a synth player for over 30 years i can tell you this little behringer is actually better than the original tb-303
But not better than a devil fish tb303.
Did they at least improve the sequencer x:
SPICY TAKE!!!
Absolutely yes! Also in my opinion!Started with electronic music back than in 1988…Had a few real 303s during my career. Unfortunately I sold my whole collection of analog classics which included also EMS AKS,SH101,SH09,CS30,3xMS20,MS10,MS50,MonoPoly,Polysix,EMS Synthi E,Crumar DS2,Firstman SQ1,Jupiter 4,SH3a,SH1000,Electro Harmonix Mini Synth,Elector Formant Modular,MC202,Moog Multimoog etc. I am very happy that I can buy clones of my old classics for an very reasonable price.Surprisingly the quality of the Behringer instruments is very reliable and not so unsafe to use as it was in the past.Bought me 2x 303 a red one and a silver one with the modification.
@@celdrichanfgarn5168 don't think so
Amazing, as always! 👏
Thank you so much!
Love that Lead Slide Demo, instant Caterina Barbieri. Got myself a TD-3 now, it will sit besides my expensive Eurorack. It's not about the price, it's about the sound and I think the TD-3 is great for sequences!
Nice, love the lead slide. This machines Glide is very beautiful.
Thanks mate! Yes it truly is! I was really amazed from the possibilities of the modded version compared to the original!
This demo has sold me on it.
I watched so many vids about this piece of gear, you're the one who made it sound best!
this might support a theory that when we just shut up and play, we play better..
in the right hands this is actually a deeply soulful tool.
Impecables todos tus videos! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the demo!
Sick demo!
beautiful machine 🤙
Awesome video! This is why one of these is on my wish list, the ability I knew it had to make music other than the traditional 303 acid/techno style. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, I just thought it looked like a much more capable synth. Thanks for demonstrating that! New subscriber ✌🏻
That Techno Arp was awesome!
Excellent sounds. I have the regular version of the TD-3 and am anxious to update.
WOW Love it !
Nice demo !
Welp, I'm buying one. Thanks for the demo!
Hope you enjoy it!
If you can find one 🤣
Very, very impressive!
I have got to get this I'm totally convinced
Great! Nice to meet you!🖤🎧🎹😎
Great demo
Love your channel!
Thank you so much!
nice demo! have considered picking this up.
Thanks mate!
Love this
Awesome. Didn't even know there was another version of this. Sounds like it has more 'guts'.
It's the sub, really fills in the sounds. Amazing stuff.
Ah. Great video. Your video section titles give me list of sounds to try and create.
Last section is insane.
sounds great
Impressive!! 😲🔥
This is not an instrument, it is a time machine capable of traveling to the past and future of electronic music
Love the MO.
wow, amazing 👌
Very nice!
nice demo, sounds awesome
Thanks!
some nice basslines here
Exellent for inspiration
Awesome!
Thanks!
FINALLY !!!! Ordered my M.O 🤤😍🤪
And have been watching vids to get myself all exited 😝☺️ But can safley say that ThiS is The One !! Thats ReallY got me PINEING 😬😬🥴💥
Jaffa jenkins .
that techno arp is nasty afffff🤤
Awesome melodies! I really would like to make tracks out of it. Amazing device
Thank you very much!
The Techno Arp is beautiful
Awesome demo! I'm experimenting with acid sounds lately, mostly on Serum and Spire, but I have a TD-3 coming in the mail next week and can't wait to try it out.
How's it going. Love it or hate it?
@@TheRealDirtySkillz Just got it and it's great! First foray into analog synths for me.
@@jordynchan5103 im curious! How did you like it, especially comparing to vsts?
@@andewprod it's definitely different for sure, although there's just something special about actually twisting the knobs for automation and the fact that you only get one shot when you record.
Very nice
I was looking for a TD-3 demo not for the first time, and was surprised it sounds soooo good. Then I realized it is *MO*. This makes huge difference! Also in price, where MO version is more than twice more expensive. I have korg volka nubass, so will probably not buy TD-3, but TD-3 MO is a whole different story.
Love it and thank you, I'm really looking for equipment to give me that Plastik man sound and with your video I can see the possibilities with a td-3 mo. I'd love to see you do more of the slowed down ambient version with maybe a delay pedal. I'm going to try myself, but you got god like skills unlike me.
Very good video quality man.
To the point, nice visuals, and not obnoxious as fuck for a sound demo (which is actually murdering about 98% of these types of videos on youtube lol).
She knows IT!
GOOD JOB
Impressed how each of these hits so hard lol Did you use the TD3 sequencer to program this or play it through a midi keyboard into the DAW?
Rad sir. Can't wait for mine.
Amazing as always! Say did you program these sequences on the TD3 sequencer or external midi? Phenom patterns mate!
Awesome demo! I love the lead demos - they remind me of Midi Sans Frontieres.
Thank you! Glad that you like them!
Hey! Thanks for this demo! Sounds epic. Are you using any other hardware to make those melodies and sequences? I feel like there is a lot of work we're not actually seeing in this video! :)
Sick
Wow, nice.
Many many thanks
Thanks!
Thank you very much for the support 🙏
The envelopes on the MO are so much more flexible. That's why I have the MO in my smaller portable setup.
Wich fx are u using? Great video as always 😀
Sounds so diverse!!! Way outside of typical 303 territory
This would sound nuts along with the new Aturia V synth polyphonic 303 with the new sequencer....get two 303's operating way outside of normal 303 realms
great! what effect hardware devices if any are you using in that chain? :)
Great demo, clean sound. I’m tired of vst’s and want something for melodic house and meet my bass needs. The only thing I’m not seeing here is noise. I was looking for it in between all the arm movements. Doesn’t have it?
Nicee
excellent sounds friend, you inspired me to buy one, but now that I have it I connect it to the PC and it only lets me set the speed, the other controls are disabled, could you tell me how to connect it correctly? thank you very much bro
great Work thx❤ can you please show your fx setting from delay, verb😄
4:39 nasty, 0:58, 1:58 very good..6:50 mesmerizing...11:44 top and good work 🎉..0:58 better for my ears XD
This is the only demo I've happened upon so far in which this device is being used in interesting ways. Thank you for not torturing us with yet more disco-duck hip hop. Some of us possess IQs which surpass 33.
Music genres don't relate to the IQ of the listener/performer 😉
How do you make the patterns? In the td3 or does it get externally and do you just ‘tune’ them on this td3
How do you go about making the softer sweeping lead sounds, finding it very hard to get soundscapes out of over just harsh acid lines
This is really cool. Did you sequence it with ableton? The slides sound really good
Yes all the midi is coming from Ableton!
Is this a Midi to Usb or Midi to Aux ?
And can you controll the cutoff in your DAW?
So at acid leads great machine? Looking for one machine at Long acid melodies.. How good is a slide lenght here? Looks as good one what now need or tb3 still dont know sure... Anyway great video thx
Hi mate does it come with all cables to plug into Ableton via Interface ?
nice lead
❤️
Cool! Is the mod worth it in terms of extra sound capabilities vs. price? It's almost twice as much and costs the same as a Model D almost or similar, and no longer really sounds like a TB303 - so Im thinking I might as well by any other synth?
The TD-3 MO can definitely go down that filthy 303 acid route! In this video I was demonstrating more of an unconventional approach to the machine!
I have to say that I really like the new features of the modded version... but the original one is also a great bang for the buck!
JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAAAAA...Animo con alegrias...very good...Enteraros bien de las cosas que os las estoy explicando...
I got mine this week and am amazed at the bass on this thing now , it can really drop . The only thing about it which is a bit of a pain is that the sequencer won`t load TD3 sequences through the synthtribe sequencer app , so your old sequence collection on your computer from your old TD 3 won`t load directly .
Did they change / improve the sequencer on this version?
@@MrMarcLaflamme Has far has I know, it's exactly the same has the TD-3 . The scripting in the code must reflect the differences in internal architecture.
@@steveclifford6893 weird that it won’t load TD3 sequences though. It’s been a while since I used the app but are the sequence files encoded or are they just midi files? I wonder if you could manually convert a td3 to a mo format?
@@MrMarcLaflamme I think there is a workaround , you could run your favourite sequences into your DAW has MIDI events Then transcribe them into your app for the M-O adding slides and accents as required. Although it's a bit of a pain , with a bit of luck they will do something about it in the next upgrade .
@@MrMarcLaflamme They are listed has SEQ FILES , they are not MIDI files. Has for converting file types , I would say from experience , it would be very haphazard!
I read that the TD-3 MO has only a 16 step sequencer. But, some of these sequences appear to have far more than 16 steps.
Does the TD-3 MO have more than 16 steps?
Did you chain multiple sequenced patterns for the longer acid phrases?
Also, if you can explain the seven tracks. In my Roland SH-4d, it allows the user to record/sequence four different 64 step synth tracks on one pattern. When I listen to people using the TD-3 MO, I never hear more than one track being played. Does the TD-3 MO allow for multi-track sequencing within one pattern... kinda like my SH-4d?
I am seriously thinking of purchasing this, of a 2nd Behringer Edge. Thanks for any insight that can be provided.
Is this without any external effects?
Sounds great btw!
description says "a bit of Ableton's Delay and ValhallaVintageVerb"

I'm wondering if you are programming all midi in the TD-3 or are you just sending MIDI in the device? If you're sending midi, can you also send the glide/accents or do you need to set these up in the device? (sorry, newbie on hardware synths here I'm used to softsynths)
Should work both ways I assume. Glide and accents are corresponding to notes overlapping and velocity
Half of the fun in using a 303 clone is using its own sequencer. Not very intuitive to start with, but give it 5 minutes and the results can be amazing.
