    I'd like to see one of these types of videos in referencer to paint chips. Filling, blending, and finishing. Not sure how much experience you have in that type of work but that would be dope.

      Rag Company did a video on it years ago. They used some kind of kit your order online and choose your exact paint color. It's a tedious process if you many chips.

    For someone who has never done sanding before, this could be a tad bit intimidating, but I’m going to experiment with this. Was that first white pad a wool pad? Thx

      Just take your time and take more breaks in between sanding passes so you don’t go too deep too quickly, you got this!

    I’ve made some crazy and slightly unhinged comments before, but I don’t think I’ve said anything like what’s already in here. Also the cayenne looks so good, can’t wait to see it in the snow

    It looks like everyone is trying to get a vehicle like your's now, you are the leader! AMMO NYC just traded for one. Thanks for the knowledge and the tutorial.

    Great job and explanation. But what's the point of polishing and offroad vehicle that has been quite modified. Are you gonna keep it protected somehow when you go offroad or what.

    As alway love the content and keep looking forward to the next video. I don’t know if you have a video about touching up paint. I have a fine but deep scratch that needs touching up but I don’t want to make a mess.

    I’ve seen a few of these types of videos and this was the most simplest video. How much would you charge for this?
    So even if it’s a deep scratch start with 2,000 grit, then compound with cutting pad, then polish with foam and done??
    I may add this to my headlight restoration services.

    Why not use the Zvizzer Dry sanding new technique that is much better, I did my couse on dry sanding, machine polishing and ceramic coating here in Ireland over 3years ago and I been working ever since detailing and doing high end polishing work 👍

    That looks like new. My concern was you talked about wet sanding off the clear coat. That didn’t sound good.

    • @edfig
      @edfig 5 місяців тому

      Sanding down a small layer of the coat so the scratch disappears. Not removing the entire clear coat.

  • @Captivateitmedia
    @Captivateitmedia 5 місяців тому

    Sorry but I have a stupid question, after polishing etc, don’t we need to respray some sort of clear coat to protect what has just been sanded, and polished so it doesn’t fade back to the sanded stage once the car gets dirty or something? I just feel once the polish wears off, then it seems silly to continually have to apply polish to bring it back to life again…or am I off my rocker…

    • @nicholxd

      Polish doesnt wear off. You are off your rocker fasho.
