The Scrambler 400X is Triumph's most affordable scrambler in line up. There are two more - the Scrambler 900 and the Scrambler 1200- both of these bikes are sold in India.
The Scrambler 400X sits above the Speed 400, a modern retro motorcycle. These bikes are built around the same chassis and have the same engine. But the Scrambler 400X gets some different cycle parts to suit the bike's scrambler nature.
The Scrambler 400X has more rugged design elements, making it look off-road-ready. It gets a headlight protector, radiator, sump guards, and hand guards. The bike also has a handlebar brace and a longer front mudguard.

THis bike is so well equipped. Bar end mirrors are needed, however. And of course, exhaust mods. There is perhaps another 5 HP in there once that is modified

That’s a beautiful looking motorcycle
For comparison l'm 5ft 10" with a 32" inside leg and can nearly flat with moto boots on my BMW which has a seat height of 870mm. Don't forget suspension compresses when you sit on it.

How's the weight distribution as in speed 400 it's very balanced even thought it's 176kg ? What about scrambler 400x?
I'm 5ft 7ish inches. Test drove the Speed 400, liked it. Although it doesn't have a specific character which makes it a bit boring but it's an excellent daily bike. Booked the scrambler 400x as it would give more space and more versatile... Off-road, etc. Would it be OK for me considering my height? How much time would I require to get used to it in bangalore city traffic?
Watch a few videos of Jocelin Snow and feel inspired by how she handles huuuuge motorcycles .... or, be happy with the Street 400.

Booking a bike is good but do not pay beyond that, do a test ride of at least 5km, see how comfortable it is for you maybe it is comfortable for others but not for you. So take the test drive and then make final payment

I am also 5.9 and i am holding on myself to check the bike at showroom. Tell me one thing,cant we reduce the height by 10 to 20mm?... should be adjustable suspension right. Even in BMW we can reduce the height by 10 to 20mm.
Yeah.. but here you get just Preload adj.. I dont think so 20mm would be possible
