This is awesome. Takes me back to my early 20's. I had a 2004 mustang GT FBO, tune, and 373 rear gear. It went 8.4's at 86 mph I believe. It was lowered and I never could get it to 60ft worth a damn... it wasn't fast but I had a blast taking it to the track. Great work guys!
Not bad at all. I gotta ask about the battery. That looks like a good way to drop some pounds. Is a battery that small enough to power all the electronics on a cobra with bigger pumps, stereo, alternator, etc?
thumbs up for the magnapacks.
Maybe bring this one down to Ford Takeover in July. There’s going to be a stick shift shootout if I’m not mistaken.
It might be June.
Min 14:30.....nice 1st to 2nd shift assistant
03/04 cobra is king of the dinosaurs no doubt. Old, no technology, but they still deliver. Can’t wait for part two.

Thank you, these simple combos are such a joy!
@@2ndshiftracing it's the best way to go in my opinion.
Impressed with the 60ft time on the last pass - looking forward to more content with this ride. Nicely done!
It’s gets better! Stay tuned!
Love the story of the poverty cobra!
Keep them coming!!
Thank you!
The 2 step setup included the harness. If it had the harness was there any problem fitting under the valve cover plate along with you stock coil pack
Up the rpm 3 to 400 on launch and side step the clutch on launch vs slipping it... that bad boy is gonna run out!
Good way to break parts. The goal is a good transition of power and not to knock the the tires off. Watch Ep. 045…it cut a 1.34.
Damn this makes me want my car back up even more.
Do it man! Come join us at the track!
@@2ndshiftracing aren’t y’all in Texas? Lol I’m in TN and still waiting on a trans
@@BrysonWitt nope, south Alabama.
💥💥👌👌 worth the wait.. keep it rollin dude
Should do coilover setup instead of a divorce setup
Eventually it will get one. This option was more budget friendly and has better clearance. Check out the most recent video for track footage.
Very nice work I can imagine how crazy this car will be in a few months
Stay tune, we found out. 😎
Didn’t know you made videos. Sweet whip bro
Nice runs dude, these cars still impress!!!!!
This car has came so far since when you first bought the car. Proud of you and the poverty cobra
Thanks man
The Greg Schroll mod is the Driver Mod.
Do you guys work on other peoples cars?
We do not, but we have friends that do
what size pulleys??
Stock lower, 2.76 upper.
What rear end gear did you install with the new live axle
Eaton truetrac with 3.73’s
@@2ndshiftracing3.73 or 3.55 gears? Please state what rpm you shifted at throughout the run. Very impressive runs 👍🏻
Just saw the 3.73👍🏻
@@gilbertrtf2195 I try to shift it at 6800rpms
@@gilbertrtf2195 watch Ep. 045 after this one.
1/8 mile ??
Yes
🔥🔥🔥
Paint match?!? Not very poverty of you
That was a pay day option lol

Whether big or small…the alternator carries the load when running. So it wouldn’t matter
@@2ndshiftracing how long have you had it? Any issue?
@@racequad9 just start it once a week to keep it charged. But no issues when running.
Soooo what your telling me is I can sell my IRS to a Charger/Challenger owner looking for an anchor for there boat?
Yes, 100%.
