OMG! I didn't realize how much I missed seeing Vern Yip's smiling face on television. Thanks House Beautiful for allowing me to reconnect with an old friend who happens to be an amazingly talented designer.
Now this is what I’m talking about! Bravo!!! Finally a home that isn’t white white white. Glorious and a change, quite a bit of grey, however the texture and garishness is great! Beautiful home, well done Vern.
Loving all those mixed patterns. Impressive balance of bold pattern resulting in a calming energy. Love Yip. He's an incredibly thoughtful high end designer.
Exceptional pattern blending; beautiful wall paper. The art, custom pillows and the indestructible pattern furniture makes me smile and feel nurtured. Nurtured equals comfort. Well done!
I love Vern Yip’s design and miss seeing him on TV! My bucket list was always a Vern Yip’s makeover of my house even way back in his Trading Spaces days.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽amazing design! I love the art used in the living room space! The color palette is so elegant and chic. I too, love to incorporate different patterns in my designs as well! Job well done Vern!
Wow! I love how Vern infused the curve of the banister along with the curve of the hair piece inserted on curved corn rolled hair art with the curve in the gold dragon in the wallpaper, it does a dance. Beautiful
I am not a fan of big houses but I love architecture features that give the structure style and personality. Would like to see these elements in smaller homes.
I was kinda worried about the green and gold at first, but then I turned out amazing!! It is absolutely beautiful. My only issue is the bench in front of the fireplace which officially renders the fireplace useless.
Carissa is dressed so polished. She looks like she's ready for cocktails in that living room. Georgous space, but you just know that art piece above the fireplace will be replaced with a TV.
I love most of it but that wallpaper in the living room is horrid, it looks like a medieval prison...wth! The wallpaper around the stairs is whimsical and beautiful.
And what is wrong with concrete blocks!!! It is the backdrop . It is the juxtaposition between the raw and then the layered patterned elements that give the room depth. That s why he is the designer and stage setter. It is a matter of starting with something geometric and neutral that is not in your face and then bringing it home with softness and colour and the magic of white accessories. Boom!!!!!!! It is a show home and is meant to make an impression. Get with the programme people.
@@katemclean3301 Nope! I love Yip and know all about juxtapositions but that was a miss...period. Concrete blocks have their place but it wasn't in that living room...he could've done better. Overall his look was hott!!!
WTF! He keeps saying color, but everything is some dreary shade of gray. (with a touch of piss stain yellow) I can't wait for this idiotic trend to be done and gone and start seeing some color again. Let it go!
hate the oriental wallpaper. love the table:) for me personally, all the mixing and matching is too much but custom made pieces of furniture is gorgeous. and americans do love their "staging" crap...too much stuff, useless, not pretty, not personal, dust collectors
I don’t like the color combination at all it could of looked so beautiful to! Yellow and brownish black drapes (yuck) the hideous wallpaper in the foyer and great room! Omg 😮 I would just cry all the money spent I could of chosen better tones for thousands less! Call me 🤙
Vern is my favorite designer. I love the rooms and their personalities. So nice to see something other than white and grey.

The photography starting at 8:00 is breathtaking -- all of it
I could spend the rest of my life in that room and it would a life well spent! Great work HB!
Loving all those mixed patterns. Impressive balance of bold pattern resulting in a calming energy. Love Yip. He's an incredibly thoughtful high end designer.
Vern is so sick in all his designs. Everything he touches turns to magnificent! Well done again my friend.
Stunning/dramatic entry way and gorgeous living room! I love the colors, textures, art, and layout. Perfection.
That is a true Vern living room. It's absolutely stunning. I'm in Love.
Vern & his husband are just the cutest couple! Love Vern's designs; my favorite designer from Trading Spaces.
Exceptional pattern blending; beautiful wall paper. The art, custom pillows and the indestructible pattern furniture makes me smile and feel nurtured. Nurtured equals comfort. Well done!

Love this Carisha! Great job on the Whole Home Nashville house!
I love the photography.
That sectional is one of the best I’ve ever seen! Love the use of the patterns throughout the room.
SO GREAT!! Amazing job everyone! Love Carisha!!!! xo
Vern, As always your work is exquisite.
I am so in love with what Vern has done! The mix of patterns is so masterful and the indestructible quality of everything....., wow on all fronts.
Beautiful job Vern!

Beautifully done Vern Yip! I also loved reconnecting (virtually) with your great personality!
I love how much light comes in at the entrance from the door
Lovvveee the designer , what a transformation, making all that patterns look so easy ........
Love Vern Yip
That sectional! And rug together!
Wow! I love how Vern infused the curve of the banister along with the curve of the hair piece inserted on curved corn rolled hair art with the curve in the gold dragon in the wallpaper, it does a dance. Beautiful
Wow these rooms are so glamorous. I absolutely love this
Vern knocked it out of the park as usual😊
archways make my heart smile
I love Verns designs
Vern Yip- The Master. Stunning.
I saw the magazine featuring this home and every room is next level! Very inspiring.
Love me some Vern, very knowledgeable and talented. Want him to design my home.
Love this!!! Such a brilliant man!
I was unsure about that living room.....vern knock this look out.I am in love with his work.
Haven't seen Vern since Trading Spaces. He's aging beautifully.
Thanks for sharing your talent and helping us to make our own dream.
Vern is the best!
Vern Yip is my favorite designer. ❤️

SO GOOD! xo
🤤 Aaah I want to be an interior designer.
Result is perfect 👌
I love the funky!
Can you tell what program you are using to develop the 3d design

The foyer is breathtaking! The livingroom is a little to dark for me.
What is the app that they use to test out the art pieces about 9 min in?
Drooling😍💓
Carissa is dressed so polished.
She looks like she's ready for cocktails in that living room. Georgous space, but you just know that art piece above the fireplace will be replaced with a TV.
You deserve a full hand up ✋🏻
Beautiful and welcoming
I love Vern but this feels like pattern overload for me and it may be indestructible but what is all that vinyl doing to our planet?
I'm in Love.... That house is my dream. It's so incredibly beautiful❤. Hey I can dream right??
does any one the collage artist they reffered to earlier in the video? the name was ruth van something?
I love most of it but that wallpaper in the living room is horrid, it looks like a medieval prison...wth! The wallpaper around the stairs is whimsical and beautiful.
I agree. Living room looks like made of concrete blocks. Awful

I sure wish you were still on hgtv.
Not my taste but it's very thoughtful and designed impeccably.
Imagining all the 🍷 we can drink in there...
Its such a beautifully designed home, but I think patterns are just 1 too many. Maybe the sectional could have been a solid
This will age quickly,..
Im not into both wallpapers, they bring about a certain gloom, theres not enough light being drawn in, the furniture and accessories are pretty though
The wallpaper is too much - really bad.
I love the wallpaper!
Too busy
Odd colors and combinations.
You would've painted all the walls bright white, right? Lolol.
@@voyager1369 Never.
Wine, chocolate, and mascara? What the? How about dirty feet??
I like Vern, but too much grey and bla.

Mixing patterns is the worst. All of my senses are offended.
It looks like a hotel NOT a home. 👎🏻

I think it's fab!
Not my favorite
Looks like Z Gallerie. 🙁
