    Incredible ❤!!
I appreciate all the work and research you’re put into this. I’ll definitely implement it. I have one track that I listen to normally when I need to focus yet I’d love to expand.

Great advice. I find that brown noise works great for me when I’m working away on my computer.

Oooh I haven’t done much work with brown noise yet, I’ll have to experiment with it!

For work and reading I listen to Lofi 100% of the time, that chill feeling is unbeatable. And noise cancelling headphones really help you get into the zone by tuning out the rest of the world.
For working out I listen to upbeat music that makes me feel sexy because exercise can feel like a chore sometimes but if I feel confident with my body then it makes me want to continue the workout and push harder.

    Hey!
Discovered your channel some weeks ago, and finally starting to take the time to implement things. I live to work with music on to cut myself from the noise of the office while I need to write text, and this looks so helpful!
I tried binaural beats today, and that was quite efficient, we'll see what works best and when. Tha k you for this extremely good content.

My preferred ‘music’ is brown noise on UA-cam. I normally duplicate the tabs of the video two or three times depending on the level of background noise I’m trying to drown. It works wonderfully for me. It keeps me from being distracted by chatter around me. I just wish no one speaks to me when I’m in the zone 😂

Usually I prefer silence to study, but when there is loud people or music outside, I really like to use white noises.
I am kinda fan of classical music, but sometimes it distract me so I play it only for reading and not very difficult tasks.
And time to time I find very useful just calm noises of rain 🤗

Very interesting stuff. The 40Hz during deep work sounds like worth trying. I tend to like it quiet during the rare occasion of shallow work, especially when I work with my hands/body because then, the mind gets a chance to wander and fresh new ideas will come through. But I love music and these days, rarely have the time to listen to all the good new stuff that comes out. So it's more a question of when to listen to music than how can music improve my work. ;-)
Regarding the motivational aspect, I agree that a good and familiar song coming up before a task increases motivation and performance. I know a musical repertoire to some degree that is the size of an iPod classic. So how can I surprise myself?
On another note, I have got good experiences with melodic jazz music playing and writing poetry. I guess that has got something to do with both playing improvisational music and creative writing requiring a kind of flow state from the mind. And the mirror neurons of the listener can be helped by the fluidity of the improvisations by the musicians through that, I guess. I have no study to prove it though, just my own experience.
