Thank you so much Tayla Burrell for this video!
Time block to better myself I only have 1/2 break per day so I’ll do 2 times morning and midday and then for lunch n afternoon ❤❤❤😊😊😊 thank you so much for your time and effort what you put out you’ve really helped me in so many ways and greeting from 🇦🇹 my dream is to get a ✍️ book from you one day in person 🎉🎉🎉❤❤😊❤
It would be constructive if the video didn't depend on a pay app 😒...
There’s absolutely no pressure or necessity to invest any money in these tools, I’m simply sharing what I’ve found helpful 95% of my content is all based on free resources, and I’ve even put in more videos in the description to give you extra inspo that doesn’t use Akiflow 😊
So helpful! Would love to see a video on how to stick to your time blocking. I tend to plan it all out, but then don’t follow it and work more in the moment and end up doing what I “feel” like at that time, or go way over the time slot when I actually get in the flow. I know you mentioned this is good at times, but I end up not doing what I need to be doing lol!
Ahh yes this is always a tricky one, great idea!
Incredible video! Question: if you don’t complete a task that has been dragged into a timeblock on AkiFlow, does it still show as undone on Notion? I wouldn’t want tasks to disappear especially if I never got to them! I currently use Asana and Google Calendar, so I am still exploring digital ways to manage tasks and time. Thank you for your videos! 🤍

No one uses Eisenhower matrix irl. They only farm it for content on youtube
I couldn't read fiction before bed and just stop. I will need to know what happens next and read on. Non-fiction isn't as engaging which makes it easier to stop.

Great video! Thank you for all these insights Tayla. Definitely gonna execute the action steps. Which app do you recommend to block other apps in such a way you explained?
Love your videos! Just discovered them!❤
Hey! Discovered your channel some weeks ago, and finally starting to take the time to implement things. I live to work with music on to cut myself from the noise of the office while I need to write text, and this looks so helpful! I tried binaural beats today, and that was quite efficient, we'll see what works best and when. Tha k you for this extremely good content.

Tayla, your content is great. Congrats! I have been reading you newsletters, and i am amazed at the clarity and conciseness - all I need. A big4 girlie, just like you. Have a great day!
On Habit 1 - before COVID, I used to spend 2-3 hours on trains and found it great to get focused work done on my phone. However, I have since moved to driving to work and use the drive time (total 90 mins to 2 hours) to listen to great podcasts. I've found the extra time saved through driving makes up the difference. But I can see your perspective and how it would work for you.
/!\ Hi, you should be aware that someone used your video as his own: David KOMSY - Business He made the exact same video, he just translated everything
This is very good video on my lunch break~ ❤
Hi Tayla, Your content is fantastic! I'd love to assist you in enhancing your videos with premium editing and captivating thumbnails that can attract more viewers. Let's discuss how we can work together to grow your channel.
You simply summarized all the most important insights and guides of productivity in only one video, being clear and focused on what we really need to know to get into action right now. You did an incredible job. Love this video! One of the best ones on the topic. Thank you so much for that! It helped a ton!
New subscriber here! Your videos are super helpful and inspiring 🫶 thank you for sharing!
Hi, I've watched several of your videos. You are amazing. Thank you for sharing your wisdom. Would you please consider not using persistent background music? Background music and sound effects create an additional unpleasant cognitive load. When people are speaking it is unnecessary to have background music or sound effects. A little bit of music goes a long way. Music is okay when people are singing. Music is okay used in small amounts when people are NOT talking (but it is still unnecessary). For people who are listening to their own music, your music is just interfering. For people who are hard of hearing, who speak the video language as a second language, for people who are on the spectrum/neurodivergent, or have other learning challenges, then any background music or sound effects are always extra challenging. Also, for people who are listening to the video speeded up or slowed down, then the music becomes unpleasantly distorted. Please consider just leaving it out and/or at least making a music-free version of the video and prominently offering the link to it. Thank you.
This is very helpful. Thank you sm
Yessss the notification emotional roller coaster is real. I turned my notifications off at the beginning of the year and it was the best thing I ever did.
i love all the tips you gave but for my adhd brain, some of them needs a little bit of adjustment here and there. but overall, such a cool person you are, to manage, to know and to grow about and with yoself.
Usually I prefer silence to study, but when there is loud people or music outside, I really like to use white noises. I am kinda fan of classical music, but sometimes it distract me so I play it only for reading and not very difficult tasks. And time to time I find very useful just calm noises of rain 🤗
Thank you for all the help and tips!
Really great tips, thank you for them ❤
That was extremely helpful😊

I love this thank you so much. Brilliant tips!
Thank you for not talking over music the whole time. I'm very sensitive to that extra noise and it was really nice to hear your wisdom without contending with the background noise that so many UA-camrs add in. 🌷
Habit stacking can be one of the worst things you can do to your mental health, if you're not careful. Stay in the present as much as you can! Multitasking can be just as bad as doomscrolling. Productivity is not the ultimate goal of life. Good time management includes moments when you're concentrating on the one activity you're doing at the moment.
i saw your video randomly yesterday (don't know you), and today youtube showed me this video : ua-cam.com/video/2uAvargJv0k/v-deo.html When i saw the miniature i thought "no way". i watched rapidly to be sure, Notion excepted, he made the exact same video in french. Maybe t isn't important but i thought this is too dishonest.
You Are Doing Great, Keep Going !!!
This was unbelievably helpful 😭🙏🏽 Thank you SO MUCH! xxx
great video thx
This French "creator" has stolen your content. I hope you can claim rights on it though I don't know if translating it changes the rules. The text is word for word yours. ua-cam.com/video/2uAvargJv0k/v-deo.htmlsi=iGVNApPw2JfzuWBQ
Daaaang the small scrolls hit HARD - I always wonder how my screen time gets up so high every week but yep - you're right, ima have to call myself out on that one. I reward myself after everything with a little scroll and I didn't even realise I was doing it so freakin much! Wow eye opener hahaha fabulous video thank you!! 🙏🏽💜
i need white noise to sleep!! also the minecraft calm music does something to my brain lol i put on 4 hour playlists of it and i can accomplish anything or calm down almost instantly!!
Minecraft saving lives 🙌🏼
Great advice. I find that brown noise works great for me when I’m working away on my computer.
Oooh I haven’t done much work with brown noise yet, I’ll have to experiment with it!
For work and reading I listen to Lofi 100% of the time, that chill feeling is unbeatable. And noise cancelling headphones really help you get into the zone by tuning out the rest of the world. For working out I listen to upbeat music that makes me feel sexy because exercise can feel like a chore sometimes but if I feel confident with my body then it makes me want to continue the workout and push harder.
YES I love this! Feeling relaxed is so underrated for focus
since a few days ago, I am writing my master thesis. When it is over, I will continue with writing that book I started before I choose to return to school. It is already a lot better than the first two I have written before. When I write "the end" I will completely rewrite it so it will be an even more interesting read. After that, I will start my next book and publish this one. I can't wait to finally defend my thesis. I can't wait to publish the book. I can't wait for my next project going after this. I am so happy just imagining the future I am building for myself in this and other aspects of life. And when I get there, I will continue with building and building until my body starts to decompose. It is nice to have something to live for after years of just surviving. 😊
I love your videos and content. Thank you 🫶🏼
This resonate with me SO MUCH! The last year has been incredibly productive for my business and awesome for my personal life and I can totally relate with what you said! I hope more people would learn from you, keep up with the good work! ❤
Great tips! Thanks for putting this together.😎
Hey Tayla Burrell, really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos better than your Editor with good pricing and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?
Thank you. I found your advice most helpful. I've been stuck between 1600 and 1700 in my Blitz chess rating and have been trying to find a way to increase it. If I can improve by ten rating points or 0.6% a week (I'd need to win two games), I will have increased my rating by over 100 points in three months. This will set a new high for me. Over a year, this will increase my rating by over 500 points or about 30%. More importantly, I am more confident about improving by ten points than passing the 1800 mark. Once I hit my goal of a ten-point increase, I can stop for the week instead of trying to raise it 100 points in one day. A bonus will be playing less chess online, freeing time to work on my fitness, writing, chess training, and other interests. This small weekly goal will improve my chess skills, overall well-being, and productivity.
Your video is very impressive. Even tho it’s not a new topic, the logic behind and your own experiences and reflections make the content valuable. Thank you for sharing
The way this video resonated with me was surreal. Thank you so much Tayla!
You're so so welcome 🤍
