@zuburbful it IS a big thing for us. 8 times in the finals since 1995. i think that consistancy is more important than winning gold every 10 years but not once ever been even close to winning.
@zuburbful not in my oppinion. russias and canadas population is over 30 million and finland has like 5.5 million so it means a hell of a lot to us to be even close at winning something. But yeah i agree that it isn't as popular as football.

I enjoyed the match eventhough we lost. A draw would have pretty much eliminated both of us but now at least Hungary has a chance to qualify. And yeah, who gives a shit about ice hockey or water polo? :D
@Jartsipeksi dont be so silly. why should we compare the ice hockey team of finnland to the team of ours? totally different hockey cultures with different possibilities...of course you are better at that

I'm sure if you would visit more often at your neighbour counties slovakia and czech to see some hockey games, you would realise there's not much intense and excitement in football. However taking that football is boring, it's version kickball is entertaining I have to say, for all the laughs it brings. Like grown-up men laying in the fields and whining like babys, comedians and drama queens acting in playground.
@namrekus Well I don't care about kickball. As a matter of fact I have laughed quite a lot for this game was so similar to one played back in 1997. It is just so hilarious to always lose in kickball (we finns play kickball not football). Football=boooriing
