Thanks for putting this on utube. Clough was a brilliant manager and a great player too. UK in the 70's was a dark, dingy shithole of a place. Growing up in those bleak times & watching him on tv, he was a bright light. Funny, extremely well educated & knew about football. He was passionate about the game. So what if he liked a drink or 8! Most of the UK self medicated back then. We had to, there was fuckall else...ah halcyon days.
Heading down to NF in March from Scotland. Been a boyhood dream since Trevor Francis dived onto a cement circle to clinch the European Cup. I will pay homage to the great man with a wee dram.
Brian clough what a man proper straight laced northerner more people like him things would be done better in this world call a spade a spade no backhanded comments true& to the point!! Top man god bless him 😊👍🏻👌🏻
I was and am Man U fan, but I loved Forest because of Clough. Loved the players, too. Shilts, Burns and wee Archie. What a spine to the team. Has any footballers legs moved as fast as Archie's in full flight?
Doesn't surprise me that Derby were crying foul in Italy, similar happened to Leeds and others, there was, and probably somewhat still is, a lot of corruption

Bit of Bowie and Brian…what’s not to love!!!!
His wife once said when Brian got into bed...*Oh god your feet are freezing!!"
Cloughie replied "in bed love you can call me Brian!!"... Priceless!!
"... after I'd written that song" lol... Martin O'niell always a deadpan comedy genius.
10:41 Peter Taylor was so ahead of his time he even had a mobile phone.
Clough could talk a wall down into rubble. The man was ruthless.
This was the last time that a football club was run properly in terms of hiring the right personnel; funding them and leaving them to it.
Great Forest team
McGovern really was loyal to Clough
Don't think I've heard of a player that wasn't.
High school on Savile! Jeez
Jimmy can u fix it for me to meet Nottingham forest and Brian Clough.....I'll do anything please Jimmy please
Jimmy Saville. Ouch!
Genius
Just realised he’s better than Mourniho cos he won div.1 with 2clubs
Not exactly a great choice of clip 8:35 :-/
Shame Saville is on this.
I agree
I guess you shouldn't wipe out history but you have a point, he was disgusting in every possible way.
Now then, now then, ‘ow’s about that then.
Who cares! Move on !
He won't be in heaven with Brian that's for sure .
Last vape !!!
