By the standards of today, I would expect more than that. By the standards of 2011, I expected more than that. Granted, Starfield has all the same downsides without the fun exploration, so Skyrim technically wins. I wish the bar was higher than that though...
it reminds me of ESO too - not clockwork city, but in terms of how they would always convey story stuff through inane conversations between two ghosts it's like they heard "show don't tell" and decided that meant "let's show a bunch of people telling you what the story is"

I really wonder who, content creators excluded, would actually gain something by paying for this disappointment. Last time I bought a DLC/expansion for a game, it was Shadow of the Erdtree and holy fuck, the contrast in quality is almost terrifying.
It's honestly quite sad. Like I mentioned in the intro, dawnguard and dragonborn wasn't just a quick tack on, there was SO much quality content added to Skyrim. After playing Fallout London, which is a MOD, and comparing it to this, from a massive developer... it IS a disappointment.
